Satin and Semi-Gloss finishes are two different things bud. 😉 Semi-gloss has a much brighter and more noticeable sheen than satin. Light reflects off of semi-gloss easier than satin because satin has a flatter finish. So basically, semi-gloss will be shinier than satin.
Get the USB/digital volt meter combination.

semi gloss isnt the same as satin brotherman.
It goes Flat - Satin - Semi Gloss - Full Gloss.
Flat is 0 shine, Satin is like 25% shine, Semi Gloss is like 50-75% shine, and obvious full gloss is full shine.
PS - the dash looks great.
