Resawing a 2x4, keep the same side of the 2x4 against the fence. Flip it end over end. That way the cuts should line up better.

Im a begginer in woodwork so i may be wrong. Wouldnt it be best to use wood glue and or brackets? Do the nails impact the quality especially since its now in a moist area like bathroom? Ple

There is SO much wrong with this project. You just pointed out one issue. As he saws the 2x4 at 0:17, his fingers are just an inch or so from a spinning saw blade. Sure, he can get away with it MOST of the time. But there is that one "oops" that puts him in the hospital. What's wrong with a cheaply made Push Stick??? Oh, and the wiring? OMG. At 12:53, look in the mirror at the wiring for those two floodlights! Wood screw heads showing everywhere. Put some weight on those angle brackets and they will rip out of the wall. The towel rod brackets are jammed underneath the wood. I'm sure glad I don't live in Brazil!

From experience, this cabinet will start coming apart in about 4 to 5 years in the humidity of a bathroom. Nails don't hold that well in cabinetry.

They do so many things in these videos that make me cringe. They take the time to joint and plane the wood and then proceed to fill the pieces with nails and screws and never conceal or patch the holes 😫

You have to love the woodworking videos made in countries where health and safety hasn’t taken over. No nanny state dictating that a machine must have x,y and z safety features, you must wear ear protection, gloves, ear protection.
Probably been doing this for years without so much as a scratch, using machines passed down from his father and adapted for his own needs.
You also have to love the complete disregard for electrical wires and switches being so close to water. 😂
