Big props to both drivers for running full size trucks in what seems to be such a tight area. They both look like pretty friendly guys too. The carts definitely made this video, I really liked those WMX toters. Sweet video!
Oh yeah, these guys are some of the coolest out there. Most of the drivers in Baldwin Park have been extremely nice so it's fun seeing them on route. Been meaning to head out to this route for some time now, and I feel like I really picked the right day :-) Thanks bro!
Great video Aaron! Crazy to see how they put that full size FL on that tight route , I could see the struggles on the turns. Those burgundy cascades were so nice! I like the way Mike revs the truck. 263235 had a nice roar to it, That ASL was cool too, I like how WMs Amreps are idle, 104411 was pretty fast. That Toter at 11:32 was amazing! Nice job Aaron!

Great video! Enjoyed both trucks but what really made the video awesome was the different variety of carts, wow I don't think I've ever seen a WMX Zarn, those carts were awesome and same with those Toters wow, and of course my favorite Rehrig model, the 95 Universals! '235 was such a fun truck and I'm glad the driver was super chill, I always love meeting drivers like Mike, also loved how the truck sounded when dumping , the green Curotto definitely goes good with this oldie. The 2014 Pete looks very nice imo, those are very cool trucks. Great job as always!

Fantastic video! Boy there sure was a sweet variety of carts in there. The old Universal burgundy Rehrigs were my favorite along with the Rotos and that burgundy zarn in the beginning! I had no idea any of those still existed down here! Mike is pretty darn skilled to be able to navigate that big ass truck through those narrow streets. Not to mention that he couldn't even turn the corner half the time. Not sure if I am a fan of that shallow Curotto with the top parts cut out, but the revving on the dumping cycles was some of the best I've heard from one of these. Great work, and hopefully I can get my hands on one of them Zarns one day!
Thank you! If you look on Street View, you'll see just how many Zarns this condo has! Now it's down to two as far as I know of but still better than none. And those burgundy Universals are some of my favorites around as well, always hoped to get some of those being collected. I was really surprised at how good this truck sounded as well as how smoothly it operated considering it was hardly used until last month. So I'm really glad to get some video of it on its rare moments on route. And unfortunately I don't think they sort through it. It's essentially the same thing as an apartment having a commercial bin instead of carts. So recycling isn't mandatory (might be voluntary?), but hopefully they'll distribute 32s here one of these days for them to start. Glad you enjoyed!
Amazing video WMmaster626, I do not know where to start. All the different burgundy carts were great, especially the Zarn and older Toter. Do you know what companies name was on the lid of the black FA Toter? Mike did a great job in those tight spaces and certainly was not shy in front of the camera. All those manual carts getting picked up by Wittke with a green Curotto Can sure brings back memories for me, and that was fun to see. I like how Mike lifts and dumps the Curotto in the hopper fast without leveling the Curotto at all. You picked a great day to film between the green Curotto, ASL and it was a cool day outside. I believe it was a City of Pomona Toter but we'll have to double check ;-) Lol I was desperately hoping he would show up in a green Curotto and luckily not only did he show up in a green one but 263235 of all trucks! Mike is an awesome guy, if you wanna film Curotto, he's one of the guys we should go after. Hopefully we can come back to this route and the trailer park, I hear that's another cool route. I see Mikey is not driving 205604 any more probably got scraped and put out of service because of being diesel and not having DPF retrofit, this use to be Ike's old route 260596 Volvo beast ⛊
Haha yeah it's been a few years since Mike had 604. Transmission blew and they gave him 982. I would have loved to see Ike on this route, he was a cool guy. Fast and his truck was one of my favorites. You used to work at Baldwin Park or something?
