Wonderful information 👍. One Question☝, As you mentioned 1Lakh exemption is for profit in LTCG, so is it for profit and its include dividend also? Because someone told me 1Lakh exemption is only for dividend not for LTCG profit. can you please confirm it?
Dividends are taxed before even before credited to the bank account, they don't fall under exemption
bro u forgot to say about the derivatives (option) market
Bro,
I have 3 questions
1. If I withdraw some portion of money from a mutual fund, then it comes under the invested amount or capital gain?
2. If I'm not a salaried person and I'm not paying any tax.. so that if I invest in debt or international index funds, on what basis will my tax rate be calculated?
3. Whether the tax on capital gain is calculated for every financial year?
If you foujd answers share me bro
1. If u withdraw some amount from MF means, u r selling some units of mutual fund. If u bought those units at low price and at the time of withdrawal the unit price is higher, then Capital Gain will occur.
2. Even if u r not a salaried person, since u r an individual, u have to pay tax @ slab rate. Whatever gain u have earned from Debt fund, u need to pay the tax at slab.
3. Capital Gain tax is calculated only in the year in which Capital Gain occurs. If u didn't sell any Capital asset in this financial year, no taxable capital gain will be computed.
Bro other than LTCG or STCG,these profits need to be declared and paid as per our income slab rate right? If salary is less than 7 lakhs means and after adding profit means I have to pay tax only bcoz of market gains?? Pls clarify
