So many great recommendations, thank you! I'm reading the Noodle Shop Mystery series by Vivien Chen. I've been wanting to give it a go for so long now. It's so fun. I have to try the Bakeshop Mystery series next.
Thank you for watching! I love that series. Just finished book three in the Noodle Shop Mysteries and I'm excited to read more. I hope you enjoy it if you do 😊
I haven’t read Anne of Green Gables in close to two decades. It was on of my favorite series. It was so wholesome and whimsical. I may have to read it again as an adult. Though you didn’t really care for the first book, I really enjoyed And Then There Were Crumbs by Eve Calder. I listened on audio and it gave me all the vibes of a cozy beach read. Oh and another one I enjoyed as cheesy summer cozy mystery is The Bali Mystery by Linda Weaver Clarke. It’s part of the Amelia Moore series. I DO NOT recommend the audiobook. The accents were done poorly.
I loved the book And Then There Were Crumbs... it was so fun! I just didn't like books two or three in the series and ended up DNFing those, unfortunately. I hope you do! The writing in Anne of Green Gables is truly magical. Thank you for the recommendation! I'll be sure to skip the audiobook. 😊
I have noted that some cozy mysteries that I’ve been listening to all of a sudden seems to have a level of profanity which was disturbing because I thought cozy mysteries and they own I’m new to the Chandra weren’t supposed to have profanity or open door sensuality I mean I don’t mind the sensuality with the profanity is a little bit difficult for me it might be interesting if you would give us a rating on that since you and take Wyatt are experienced in the genre maybe you could do a reading for you no minus no profanity mild or excessive I thought they were not suppose to have any at all and I’ve been finding that there’s more there in some parts of theMore than I am accustomed to and taking in a book appreciate your channel you always give good reviews happy reading
I've noticed the profanity a bit too! Most I don't notice any profanity or language in. Sensuality is an immediate no for me if something is called cozy... some kissing and implied scenes are the maximum for that for something to be called cozy. I'll keep an eye open for cozies with a lot of language and see if I'm noting a bunch 😊
Hi Leo! Thanks for watching. That's a tough one - I'm not big on the romance myself, but most have at least a little bit unfortunately 😅 I really like the Pizza Lover's Mystery Series by Chris Cavender. The main character is a widow and doesn't really date from what I remember.
What is on your summer TBR? Do you have any favorite summer cozy reads? 💛🌺🌻

I think the ones with the hairstylist sounds really different. Thank you 😊
It's a really fun mystery series! I wish Nancy J. Cohen would write more in the mystery genre because the Bad Hair Day Mysteries are really fun 😊
I'm going to give Body and Soul Food a try and love Jenn Mckinlay cupcake books and she has a cupcake cookbook coming out soon
I didn't know about the cookbook - that's amazing! I'm going to look forward to that. Thanks for watching Jerry 😊

Hi Amy love the channel and starting to get into the cozy’s. Would you have a recommendation for a guy who’s looking for all mystery and no romance. 😂
