Well, I've added to my summer TBR! I realized I had all of them except Hot Fudge Murder so I added that to my Kindle "pile". I enjoyed this format and look forward to any other themes you decide to do.
These all sound great! I have heard people were disappointed with the Deadly Scoop book, which is so sad because the cover makes me want it to be a favorite😂I’ll still read it though! But the second book you discussed will be the first one I try, it sounds great!

My husband and I have been listening to Arsenic and Adobe on audible. My husband isn’t a huge reader but this book has him reeled in lol. I can’t wait to start Homicide in Halo-Halo.
Is there a cat in the Abby Collette series? My themes for summer have been lighthouses and water. I've been reading Beacon Bakeshop by Darci Hannah, Seaside Cafe by Bree Baker, and Lighthouse Library by Eva Gates. I'm also going to read the Lakeside Library Mystery series by Holly Danvers. I do plan on reading other Lake Michigan cozies this summer - Cranberry Cove by Peg Cochran, Mystery Bookshop by VM Burns, and The Shepard Sisters Mysteries by Tracy Gardner.
I don't think so, unfortunately! Maybe she'll get a pet later on in the series 😊 Those are great themes. I definitely need to check out the Lighthouse Library and Seaside Cafe series. Those have been on my list for a while! 💙
@@bookswithamymarie There is a cat on the cover of the book so that's why I asked. I wish they would stop putting cats on the covers of cozies if there isn't a cat in the book. A few series do that. I love the Seaside Cafe series. I'm listening to the audiobooks and I really like the narrator. I'll be finishing book 5 today. After I finish the series (2 more books), it will be on to The Lighthouse Library series. I've heard great things about that series too.
Hi Leo! Thanks for watching. That's a tough one - I'm not big on the romance myself, but most have at least a little bit unfortunately 😅 I really like the Pizza Lover's Mystery Series by Chris Cavender. The main character is a widow and doesn't really date from what I remember.
I think it's "hollow-hollow" but I didn't realize that until after I made my vid on the first book... and my MIL is from the Philippines 💀 I keep forgetting to ask her to be sure though I admit I thought this one was a let down compared to the 1st but I think Mia P can make a comeback Love the earrings btw
