I saw VH in live performances three times in the 1980's when DLR was leader. I hated their concerts because DLR was always too messed up to remember his lines and often rambled on during solos. After hearing these backing tracks I would like to have gone to one concert performed twice: 1. A live version with no vocals, just instrumentals of the songs so that I could hear Eddie and Michael Anthony, and 2. a back track version when DLR sang correctly because he did have a razor voice in the studio. This was an awesome studio band, in my opinion.
