Ant, youre INSANE. this production and effort you've put in to make this vid shine clearly shows. glad to see you back and firing on all cylinders. you're gonna BLOW UP
Holy shit! I watched this guy on the Netflix BBQ Showdown. He is awesome and the dude that got 1st place. Both were top notch in my eyes, so cool you could go to his Joint!
I own a wing pop up spot here in SFV in LA and I love that you shed light on his spot, from seeing him go to the same store I go to and just the overall grind is great to see. The process from start to finish was amazing.
Ant!!! I’m not sure how you are doing it but you just keep getting better and better. You are a true craftsman with the bbq stories. Well done brother. 🤘
the excitement and inspiration I get as I watch these is unreal. and even more on this one as we are about to do our First "ghost kitchen" next month. Thank you for another great video.
Whoa!! When he showed the dishes at the end, they’re going to need a bigger place and I mean soon! I have no doubt they’re gonna do well, good chemistry, good, creativity, and phenomenal food from the looks of it. Bravo 👏
Make sure you LIKE and SHARE the video so it can spread to more people :) Had the best food of my life at ZEF! The congee and ramen absolutely blew me away and they have the Texas bbq down pat too. A must try place if you’re in SoCal. Logan and his family/team are amazing, loved my time there and can’t wait to go back!
I think it’s so cool you are filling that void of consistent behind the scene bbq content and you do such a great job in editing. I would love if you also did, food truck, small restaurants maybe? Or to be honest any local places that more people should focus on in general. Appreciate your work
Let's go logan.!!! My kids seen you on Netflix and we actually cheered for you when you did the whole hog.!!😂😂 done to see this guy on here.!!! Let's go.!!!
Ant - Great video as always! I live in LA and I'll be hitting this place next week!!! Still can't figure out why you don't have 1 million subs yet. Your production is top notch. Keep it up!
ANT just wanna give you a big thank you not sure if you get this enough but i really enjoy your vids. like i love waking up and going to YT to see what you posted and i love it.
We missed you Ant! That spread of food at the end! For a take out place that was fine dining on the patio! I need to take a trip back to Cali for a food crawl of all these amazing places you’ve showcased for us! Thank you for shining a light on all these amazing restaurants!
This guy was absolutely ROBBED in that Netflix BBQ Showdown. Those judges are 100% traditionalists which, mind you, isn't necessarily bad. My beef with that show is that BBQ is a cooking methodology and this guy was SO creative with what he made! The other guy was absolutely talented, no doubt, but he stuck to tried and true recipes for American BBQ that I could find in any major city.
Hey Ant! This is a fucking amazing series! Running a BBQ joint in Malaysia is hard as hell sometimes but your content really helps me brainstorm new ideas moving forward! Thank you ❤❤❤
Ant, love these videos man, you do such a great job of capturing these places and the folks that make them work. I was wondering, if there’s a place that would be willing, could you maybe dive into the business side of things with them a bit more? It seems impossible to me that they make a profit given the cost of goods, labour, etc. Would love some insight into that side of things. Keep up the great work! 👍
Love this video man. I live a similar life to this at the moment. Running a meal prep business heavily influenced by bbq. My mom and I are the two man team that make it happen every Sunday. Very inspiring thank you for this video
Logan is awesome. I was watching a random BBQ show where Logan was competing and he was making people with tons of BBQ experience look bad. Just completely unfair. He is at the forefront of combing classically trained chefs and BBQ. Glad he’s getting some much deserved publicity from this channel.
Excellent job. I thought this was a major medka channel like vox or something. I didn’t look at the channel name or tittle. The thubnail got me. Just found you channel. Amazing content.
Ive seen places like this. Is this a basic start-up vibe? with the hours and days. Or is it a market to open particular days at particular hours outisde the norm?
ordering that far ahead just isn't our thing.. but we have talked about ordering it for over a year now LOL is there is like a list where we can sign up to get texted someone didn't pick up their order?
OMFG, that Dragon Ball Z bamboo thing, I had the EXACT same thing growing up except it was a different scene and you totally just brought me back down to memory lane with that shit.
Curious how he keeps the tri tips after smoking them, said he roasts them day of service, so it's like a reverse sear with a day in between lol Heritage bbq said in your video there that they cold smoked their tri tips, then throw them over fire before service. I am happy with how my tri tip turns out, but if I make much more than say 20 or so it gets difficult to manage.
Man those char siu colored burnt ends look absolutely divine, holy hell. This guys is an inspiration. As a cook for most of my working life, I have recently been dreaming and planning to open an operation very similar to what he's doing here. Was so cool to watch someone do basically exactly what I've been planning. Thanks for the amazing content, Bro! Hope you get as much excitement making it as I do watching it
Where is this MFers michelin star. When he started bringing those plates out, my jaw dropped and i was drooling everywhere. Every plate looked amazing.
Poor Chubba. HAHA. I hope he figures out whats going on that makes him late all the time. I know for me it was procrastination, alcohol, and arrogance in knowing how great I am at what I do. But ultimately you cant live that way forever. Even in success with that, order is still more necessary for your own personal sanity imo.
The wood has no affect to the taste it’s all about the advertising along with the sides… Smoke taste is assured and acquired by seasoning that it’s added on…
You learn to absolutely love this guy on that Netflix show. He's comes off as a really great guy. I wish the best for him.
Very cool guy, miss him already 🥲
I knew I recognized him from somewhere!
Same here! This is cool haha
One minute into the video he literally says he got 2nd on the bbq showdown....
@@midwesternsmoke1883 Yeah! It's where I recognized him from!
That spread that was layed out at the end - mindblowing.
the excitement and inspiration I get as I watch these is unreal. and even more on this one as we are about to do our First "ghost kitchen" next month. Thank you for another great video.
I remember Logan from The Barbeque Showdown on Netflix...such a wholesome personality and a very innovative chef.
WOW. You did an amazing job with the story telling and cinematography! Food looks amazing!
Love this series! You always do such a good job of communicating their stories and makes us feel like we genuinely know them.
Whoa!!
When he showed the dishes at the end, they’re going to need a bigger place and I mean soon!
I have no doubt they’re gonna do well, good chemistry, good, creativity, and phenomenal food from the looks of it. Bravo 👏
Creative ways to use American bbq with dishes from around the world! Great stuff!
I already Stan him from the BBQ showdown, and to notice he's wearing a Bluey shirt, makes me like him even more💜
As a South African, I recognized the word "Zef" but didn't click until it was mentioned! Nice one!
Make sure you LIKE and SHARE the video so it can spread to more people :)

You def got me interested. Im in Weho so close enough to make the trip. Why did you blur out the name of the place?
I think it’s so cool you are filling that void of consistent behind the scene bbq content and you do such a great job in editing. I would love if you also did, food truck, small restaurants maybe? Or to be honest any local places that more people should focus on in general. Appreciate your work
I'd love to try his stuff, Jason seems very passionate and humble. Wishing all the best to his family and his team. Great video!
Mad props on making yours come through
Bro…..this ish was exceptionally done. Ant seriously once again great job.
He really put the Michelin-star finesse into all his dishes!!!
Looks spectacularly delicious!!!
Let's go logan.!!! My kids seen you on Netflix and we actually cheered for you when you did the whole hog.!!😂😂 done to see this guy on here.!!! Let's go.!!!
great video.. impressive production quality for a smaller channel.
also helps that the subject of the video is such a cool, chill guy!
My two fav cuisines clashing is a dream! I must have this in my face my body and my life!
Ant - Great video as always! I live in LA and I'll be hitting this place next week!!! Still can't figure out why you don't have 1 million subs yet. Your production is top notch. Keep it up!
I like the way he integrated Hawaiian food into his style and background...the way he pronounced "musubi" and makes his own spam says a lot...
What an epic story. Knocked it outta the park again dude. Really appreciate the effort that goes into crafting such a freakin engaging story.
He does great bbq. Brisket and nanner pudding are ridiculous. So delicious
great content and an even better story truly inspiring looking forward to my next LA trip to try this place out !
ANT just wanna give you a big thank you not sure if you get this enough but i really enjoy your vids. like i love waking up and going to YT to see what you posted and i love it.
Knocked another one out of the park. Seems like your video production and narrative pacing is even improving. Congrats man
We missed you Ant! That spread of food at the end! For a take out place that was fine dining on the patio! I need to take a trip back to Cali for a food crawl of all these amazing places you’ve showcased for us! Thank you for shining a light on all these amazing restaurants!
Hey, I’m a creator and producer working on my first food series and I’d love to pick your brain about creating this series!! Love your work.
Smoky the Bear secretly started the fires.
Logan, his staff, and his food are awesome. I'm a fan!
Such great cinematic feel to your videos. Love them
The digimon adventure music was a nice surprise
One of my favourite youtube series thank you ant

Freeze-frame @24:53 gimme that any day.😮❤
That Four Monks Apple Cider Vin is the shit, I use it at my spot too and won't touch anything else!
Accept challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.
awesome video... can't wait for part 2.. I would love to try their infused menu... thanks Ant for another great video... you rock!
Inspirational, love watching this!
Why is the restaurant’s sign blurred out?
Seem to me like it's a pop up. Not always at one place.
Yeah what idk music said, they’re a pop up. That is just the kitchen space they rent.
It’s nipples were showing
Hidden by the man bun
Zef bbq
Hell yeah bro been waiting for you to drop a new video. You got the BBQ vlogs on lock in my opinion 🤷🏿♂️ top notch keep em coming brotha!!

Logan is a good dude! I got to cook with him when he came to Memphis for the World Jr BBQ League cookoff at Melissa Cookston's store.
What a team! this was an amazing watch and the food looks unreal x
homie killed BBQ showdown, id eat his food anyday
So awesome! And his food is amazing
The food looks insane! Really cool story at ZEF!
Hey Ant! This is a fucking amazing series! Running a BBQ joint in Malaysia is hard as hell sometimes but your content really helps me brainstorm new ideas moving forward! Thank you ❤❤❤

That food looks incredible.

Love this video man. I live a similar life to this at the moment. Running a meal prep business heavily influenced by bbq. My mom and I are the two man team that make it happen every Sunday. Very inspiring thank you for this video
Must be great working with your mom. God be with both of you.
This looks good, might pull up soon

How do you keep the food at a proper temp in the truck during LA traffic? Do you use coolers?
One more place to add to the BBQ-queue!
For sure!
Great content ant!
More Texas bbq content!!
Simi valley is in ventura county?
music at 17:00 had me thinking i had a ludwig stream on in the background lmao
Ive seen places like this. Is this a basic start-up vibe? with the hours and days. Or is it a market to open particular days at particular hours outisde the norm?
Lao Gan Ma Fried Chili Oil 💪

ordering that far ahead just isn't our thing.. but we have talked about ordering it for over a year now LOL

OMFG, that Dragon Ball Z bamboo thing, I had the EXACT same thing growing up except it was a different scene and you totally just brought me back down to memory lane with that shit.
THAT is a menu!!! Yummy
IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
IT WAS A MATTER OF TIME FOR THIS GUY
Very cool
Curious how he keeps the tri tips after smoking them, said he roasts them day of service, so it's like a reverse sear with a day in between lol
Heritage bbq said in your video there that they cold smoked their tri tips, then throw them over fire before service.

Ant I need you to come to Georgia and checkout Sweet Auburn Bbq in McDonough, Ga you would love the owner and food.
Used to be called Jetro back in the day

Most of the shadows of life are caused by standing in our own sunshine.
Ants the G.O.A.T

I wanna work for this guy.
My Favorite Series on RUclips. Keep It Up!!!!!!!!
that's fabulous, isn't it.
Don’t tell people BBQ is easy!
Poor Chubba. HAHA. I hope he figures out whats going on that makes him late all the time. I know for me it was procrastination, alcohol, and arrogance in knowing how great I am at what I do. 5:29 him grabbing his nuts 😂
I think you need to figure out the difference between L.A. and LA, keep getting my hopes up it is Louisiana lol.
It's actually in Ventura county not Los Angeles county.
That is a really smart way to maximize your time and not make people wait 3-4 hours for food. Preorders with pick up times....I'm writing that down
Why the hell are you blurring out his name on the building?
It’s a commissary kitchen. Not his name, and the kitchen didn’t want their name in the video
