Video to the song Nature of the Experiment by Tokyo Police Club. From the mini album A Lesson in Crime Released on Memphis Industries in Feb 2007 www.tokyopolice...
This is still one of my favorite songs. It’s messy & beautiful all at the same time. Also, 14 year old me was very proud to have this on her myspace profile lol...
I remember Toyko Police Club came to my town for a free show at a campus, wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for my sister. I feel like I should tell her it was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to, and I didn’t even know TPC beforehand besides when she’d listen to them.
Not necessarily into the Indie/Alternative genre, but I heard these guys the other day driving home from work. I think they're extremely talented. Not only that, they're creative. They're a very creative unique band.
I had the joy of going to the high school they when to, they would come and play for us alot for a couple of years and I was really lucky to know 2 of the members as I was in the same grade as their younger siblings for pretty much all of elementary school and high school. These guys were our shcools music idols
This is the first time I have heard any of their work. My brother told me about them so I decided to check them out. Great band from what I have heard so far.

I was looking for a good band everywhere, 3 hours, then I stumbled upon this... great song its stuck on my head and I can say its a good thing. I dont know why theres no bands like this in America, maybe because they go with the flow... same crap.
I have a good story about this song actually. I was drinking with a good buddy I hadn't seen in a while. Anyway, he likes to listen to music that is Canadian and not so mainstream. Like he listened to Metric and Fiest before most people ever even heard of them. Anyway, he turns on this song saying how it is one of his favourite bands, thinking I would be like all, cool, where'd you hear them too. But I was like, ha, I heard them on my Rugby 08 game. Ha, good times.

Holy shit, the further back you go in this band's timeline, they better they get. Too bad they didn't stay like this
fuck you. they stayed Tokyo if u don't like their new stuff then piss off, yea?
Just try and tell me "hot tonight" isn't complete trash... They peaked a long time ago and now they put out the same garbage as everyone else
Just like maps and atlases
Billy Talent is next on this list
The writing was so creative in their early years. I really like their new stuff too, but their early stuff really came from the heart.
