What you may call prejudice I call legitimate grievances. For a muslim to say that the bible is corrupt he has declared himself a munafiq. No where in the quran does it say that the bible has been corrupted. In fact the quran says that the quran came to confirm the previous scripture. The quran confirms the previous scripture is Reliable, Inspired and authoritative.

I remember being a Christian arguing the exact same way 😅..honestly the irrational arguing comes from a good place, we were taught that to deny the trinity is to deny God so when you see Christian’s arguing and going round and round in circles it is because they are truly God fearing people, unfortunately the issue is their religious compass is way off.

I should be able to answer that using the bible and the bible alone not my inner voice or spirit or whatever, but instead what Christians do is make up their own understanding and interpret the bible based on their own personal circumstances and biases. ... Logically it doesn't make sense for Jesus to be God because by virtue of claiming Jesus as God you are essentially declaring that if God WAS to become a man he would become a man of a particular colour, a man of a particular hair texture, a man with a particular accent etc.. So would I be wrong in saying that according to you, God favours these physical attributes over another?... This is why to me, claiming Jesus PBUH as God is a major fallacy and according to both of our doctrines this would prove God to be unjust which would be a problematic to say the least. I’ve read the Bible. There are so many conflicting verses. And I’ve never understood how God is three. We also are told to believe that there is only one God, yet Jesus is God, and the only way to God. Often, I am not sure who to pray to.. I’m 64 now, so I just try to be a good person. Bought a Quran and am reading it slowly. I’m also reading a great book about Muhammad’s life. He was definitely a great man

[ المائدة: 72 ]
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

Yes, I left this year.
100% put his life on the line for the Bible, was proven wrong over and over. He would have lost that wager and his life. Claims no ego or pride, yet doesn't realize we were given 2 ears and one mouth for a reason. Literally like arguing with a child. Attempts to "enlighten" Sheikh but he isn't well read in the theology of his own belief system. It was painful to listen to the whole thing, but I was hoping he would open his heart and ears. He should watch this and be thoroughly embarrassed. May Allah guide him. As another comment mentioned, he would make a great Muslim because he has very strong belief but very misguided. I am but a recent revert to Islam myself and it is only clearer day by day that Islam truly is perfect. Allahu Akbar! Great job One True Message Foundation for the amazing work.

I appreciate Christians such as him bringing up these talking points to Sheikh Uthman. My BIL is Christian, and he has discussed with me much of this guy's beliefs. I didn't know how to answer him, especially about sacrificing lambs to attain forgiveness because it's just something I never heard of. But hearing these Christians' questions and the Sheikh's answers helps me better understand how to counter argue these talking points.
