No no no no no! No one in Band Maid has passed away! PHEW! Now tragically there was the death in Babymetal of Kami Band guitarist, sensei and father Mikio Fujioka. He was nicknamed Ko Gami which means little god as he was the same height as Suzuka, Moa and Yui (about 5’1”). He was also Yui and Moa’s guitar teacher and friend. From what I’ve read, they wept as they left little gifts at his funeral to be buried with him. Mikio fell from a stargazing platform in December 2017 and died from his injuries about a week later. There are a great number of tribute videos on RUclips, basically compilations of him being the monstrously talented musician and kind, soft spoken, funny guy that he was. Band Maid is one awesome group all around. I wish all the success they deserve. They probably deserve more success than they currently getting, but things seem to move more slowly when generated out of Japan. A band like "Lovebites" recently signed with a European label and are getting more exposure than they ever had with their Japanese label. Lovebites got to share the stage with Halestorm since signing with their new label. Babymetal and Band-Maid are only a couple of the many great bands Japan has to offer. I could list them here, but believe me the list is very long.

Yeah, this is one that I send to people when I introduce them to Band Maid. It's just so raw, so rich, so much fun. The dynamics are so well done, especially the guitar duel. Just great stuff all around. They blow my mind. Great reaction, thanks!!
You scared me there at the end when you said that the guitarist passed away. Kanami is alive and well. I think you mixed up Band-Maid and Babymetal. One of the guitarists for Babymetal did pass away last year. Mikio Fujioka fell off an observation deck. He will be missed. All the members of Band-Maid, however, are alive and well.
Watching this with a smile on my face because I knew what was coming. Misa. They don't call her the Barefoot Bass Assasin for nothing. Have a close look in the bass solo & you will see she is in bare feet again. God bless her.
Actually, BAND-MAID is for longer meditative listening. Like, if you just sit still for two hours and watch entire ZEPP Tokyo concert in good quality, from Blu-Ray, in good headphones, you suddenly dive in such depths, that you could only dimply suspect when listening to one song here and another song there, once in a while, clicking a RUclips suggested link. Or, listening to an entire album may bring the same feeling. In the same way as Led Zeppelin fans do Zepathon, listening to all their nine albums in a row, you can do BANDO-MEIDO-thon, listening to all their albums and singles in a row. I wish I'll be able to do it one day. It'll be over seven hours of incredible music... Well, even watching Shinkiba and ZEPP in a row would probably blow my mind... Especially if it's Blu-Ray, the quality of the picture really adds to the experience.

. Further note on #Lovebites #Shadowmaker , this is a relatively new band, Nov 2016 . The record company injects a commmercial advertisement part in the beginning of this video, try not to be distracted by this.
I believe the death you talking about is the guitarist off Baby Metal, he died a few months ago. Like your reactions, but now do a new group from Italy. #Frozen Crown# Kings# Fredrikstad in Norway
Guess it was a bit late in the night already and you mixed up Band-Maid with Babymetal. Mikio Fujioka the guitarist of the Kami Band - the backup band for BABYMETAL - passed away last year because of an accident. Band-Maid is still complete and very much alive, may they live forever. The loss of Mikio Fujioka was and still is a tragedy for BABYMETAL, but not enough, last year was a tough year for them, the magic trio you saw in the last two videos broke apart too, Yui Mizuno left the band for health reasons - the management says - and for even worse their managment was unable to handle the situation to provide a proper expectation-managment during the last years world tour without Yui Mizuno. I saw Babymetal four times in the original trio formation and then last year without Yui. Still a good show, but the unbeatable magic of the original trio is lost - for me, Babymetal turned from an amazing and surprising perfectly mixed stage act into a Marvel Avengers kind of heavy metal musical show - sorry folks. I hope they find their path again. At least we have the best still alive and going strong - the magic Maids. Another kick ass female Band: #Bridear G.A.M.E live Shibuya East - still Switzerland here :-)
Honestly I feel like the train wreck that was the management through last year with Yui's departure kinda makes it seem to me that the reason Yui left was an unexpected sudden issue that hit the band hard. Also there's the fact it wasnt the 1st time. I mean it didn't happen before since they formed but before Babymetal Yui had some severe health issues together with her family Before Babymetal Details of which are kept secret. Keeping that in mind Whatever Happened to her Last year could be the return of the same health issues from before they formed. All that just adds up in a scary way. I Hope Yui is ok & wish both Her & the Band bounce back soon. Im staying hopeful just from the example of the Turn around Ladybaby had
yugoxgc yes, Yui and her family have an unpleasant history of health issues. I hope she’s doing well and wish her - as well as Su and Moa - all the best. Hope Babymetal comes back strong, but I‘ll miss MoiMoi for ever
If you want to know more about the personality of the BAND-MAID members watch this interview they made: ruclips.net/video/-wXAm__dOS4/видео.html Miku is a pigeon, Saiki a trainspotter, Kanami a starchild, MISA a voice imitator, and Akane a anime nerd.
Kel-n-Rich, I don't believe anyone in Band-Maid passed, although I recently read that Band-Maid's bassist injured her right hand bass slapping. Its common, unfortunately, for guitarists to get carpal tunnel from speed playing, too, the classical guitarist Christopher Parkening and the neo-classical speed demon Yngwie Malmsteen to name only two.
I have a band I would like you two to check out.The band is called Bridear and they are also an all female Japanese band as well. They have more then one style of playing.I'll ask you to react to two songs. The first is more metal with a bit death metal in it.And the second is more rocky/poppy.BRIDEAR / Light In The Dark and the second BRIDEAR 『Dear Bride』 MV .Thank you
You guys should also check out a Japanese power metal band called LOVEBITES. They seem much older than Band Maid and plays even faster. Their live performance of the song "Set The World On Fire" is so awsome. Another head banger!
recommendation -- Dream theater 0The Dance of Eternity (or just simply The Dance of Eternity,) is the ninth track on the album Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory, and the second track in Act 2 of the album. It is the second instrumental on the album, the first being Overture 1928. Due to its complexity and many time signature changes (108 in total), The Dance of Eternity is often regarded as one of the most complex songs in progressive metal.

When you said, "Look how much fun they're having," I was thinking the same about you two.
And when you finally are done with all the Band Maid material there is, start over :) Ha-ha-haaaa :D
The Barefoot Assassin and Mincho battle center stage. What else can be said?
Omfg DOPAMINE OVERLOAD!! My braaaaiin!!!
next
freedom!
#Bandmaid Daydreaming live or MV both are great. If u want to check out a little bit of the lighter side of band maid
#Bandmaid Rock in me or a Miku Magic spell time if u really wanna get crazy
8:36 My favorite new band as well, and I'm a bit of a music snob (former musician).
It was BabyMetal that lost a guitarist.....Btw you should watch the official video of this,it shows them acting in their band persona, which you can learn about in a short vid...search youtube "5 reasons band maid is awesome" sry no url...need coffee :-D
And Kaname is legendary. When she and Misa do dueling lead and bass it makes you soar
. Further note on #Lovebites #Shadowmaker , this is a relatively new band, Nov 2016 . The record company injects
a commmercial advertisement part in the beginning of this video, try not to be distracted by this.
The Cobra vs the Mongoose!
Another kick ass female Band: #Bridear G.A.M.E live Shibuya East - still Switzerland here :-)
Thanks for clearing that up. I just about fell ill when they said that ! Fewwwwww !
@@cholatse6745 Gahhh... Stop, you're gonna make me cry T_T

Love you guys, keep up the great work 🤘😎🤘
Hey Jeff! How have you been mate? Good to see you here. Rich
At 1.13 when Misa stamps into it and gets obliterated by the smoke generator always makes me laugh
I have a band I would like you two to check out.The band is called Bridear and they are also an all female Japanese band as well. They have more then one style of playing.I'll ask you to react to two songs. The first is more metal with a bit death metal in it.And the second is more rocky/poppy.BRIDEAR / Light In The Dark and the second BRIDEAR 『Dear Bride』 MV .Thank you
There are concerts announced in Japan. Are you going?
#bandmaid daydreaming
Kanami throws fist in air...epic.
You guys should also check out a Japanese power metal band called LOVEBITES. They seem much older than Band Maid and plays even faster. Their live performance of the song "Set The World On Fire" is so awsome. Another head banger!
I think rich is more of a hard rock kind of guy which is why likes band maid more than babymetal which is well metal
Babymetal also has much more of a "manufactured" feel to it, which is why I enjoy Band-Maid more.
recommendation -- Dream theater 0The Dance of Eternity (or just simply The Dance of Eternity,) is the ninth track on the album Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory, and the second track in Act 2 of the album. It is the second instrumental on the album, the first being Overture 1928. Due to its complexity and many time signature changes (108 in total), The Dance of Eternity is often regarded as one of the most complex songs in progressive metal.
We reacted to the WHOLE ALBUM...5 parts...Check playlist under DT. Let us know whatcha think!!!! Rich
