I've been writing new songs for the last two years. It's no secret I've gone through a lot of change; for those of you who have been following me (and/or supporting me via Kickstarter and Pledgemusic every so often) for some time, I imagine you're curious about what might be next for me as an artist on the other side of so much shifting. I know I am!!
I'm deeply and truly excited to be feeling so fully reconnected to what drove me to music in the first place--*feelings*. If you weren't already aware of this about me -- I catch feelings, almost professionally. I try to be all cool and mysterious and nonchalant but I can't shut my mouth!! (and if you need further proof of this, watch the journal section at the end of my kickstarter vid) I have fEeLiNgS, y'all. And while I am proud of everything I've made, I can still say that the new songs I'm working on now feel the most true to my feelings or to myself of anything I've ever done.
The money raised here will be used to pay for studio time, engineering, musicians, mixing, mastering, and marketing for anywhere from 7-15 songs. This one, Reasons Why (working title) is my current favorite, so I've themed my kickstarter after it. Music is SO healing and fun in part because it gives us a place to experience our feelings in our bodies through sound and movement. I aim to do that with my new music. I want to set lyrics with poetry amidst lyrics that sound like my real voice--the me you'd meet on the street if I bumped into you outside a cafe or bar. I've always done my best to tell the truth in my music, and this new music is no exception--I am making music about all the ways it feels to be human in my body. That goes from sensuality to spirituality and everywhere in between.

@@wilsoneusebio777 If being a feminist seems a problem to you, than you are the one who needs prayers. Jesus cared deeply about rights of women. But I too am sad that Audrey is no longer a follower of Jesus.

The sign in the background that says "I lost God to gain myself" is backwards. We are to lose ourselves to gain God. Audrey, I'm saddened to see this. I will miss you singing your heart out to the Lord. He has given you such talent and one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. I'm praying that you return your service to glorify Him. I will still have your rendition of Be Thou My Vision played at my funeral. It's my most favorite song. Thank you for being such a blessing to my life with your songs of faith.

I also love that song of hers. I don’t feel like something has gone wrong. Trust in God’s plan and Will. Oftentimes people who are raised with a strong religious upbringing have an urge to break out of it eventually because there is a feeling rebellion in the ego that wants to break away from God. The ego has suppressed a lot of darkness and I see this breaking away from the religion as a step towards going into the darkness/dark night of the soul. We have to go through the darkness to get to the light. Ultimately the path to God is not about religion, it’s about the desire of the heart to know our creator. “I lost God to gain myself” I see this as the ego darkness coming up to the surface to be seen. Maybe the Christian gig she was playing was mostly a good girl facade based on her upbringing which is no good. It’s fake and full of pretense and judgment of others. We have to go deeper and conquer our own inner demons through Christ- through going through the darkness. Eventually we will all lose ourselves, the illusory ego self to see God once again. People seem to go in different directions. Some start in jail and a life of debauchery and end up in great faith running towards God. Others grow up in the church and suppress sex, pornography and pedophilic addictions to maintain their “good” image. Repression is no good! You cannot put makeup over a rotting corpse and hope it will cover everything! This is why you see so many scandals of religious people. It’s better she come clean and be authentic. In a sense she is wiping the slate and starting over. Let the ego’s darkness be exposed to the divine light through honesty and nonjudgment. I think she is breaking out of a limited religious box based on rules and morality which cheapens the true love and magnitude of God. Her spiritual faith can only deepen from having gone through the true darkness instead of pretty pink fluff that’s hiding it all.
i want to have all of her songs played at my funeral ;D
Audrey, your worship music has been a flare in times of great spiritual and emotional distress. A flare that has pulled me closer to God when the darkness seemed too overpowering. Thank you so much for your service and for creating music to redirect so many of us to Christ in that season of your life.
May God bless and keep you and reveal more and more of His love to you and all whose lives you have touched.

As we do things "in the secret" of our rooms we leave room for the enemy to take hold of us. Causing us to believe that these thoughts and things are actually us...natural.
But you know what, there is no real way to satisfaction & peace in life following those things. I'm so sure your music will be amazing because God has sooo obviously gifted you in worship & musicality. But removing God from the equation removes its worth. You're music has inspired me & calmed me so many times. I pray that you would realize that instead of searching for more you would see He is still right there. He hasn't moved.

There is no promise of that… this is so sad. And how many people she may be stumbling and discouraging. This puts the “fear of God” in my own life for guarding my heart. “Out of it flow the issues of life.” (Proverbs)

So in a modern world each individual themselves defines Christianity? The Bible determines how a Christian should live. If they are going to choose immoral lifestyles, don’t call it Christianity. I have more respect to the atheists in that case because at least they are not lying to me about their beliefs. Revelation 3:15-16 Jesus here is talking about a church were there are lukewarm. They think they are “Christian” but their deeds are not right with God. He is ‘about’ to spit them out because they are lukewarm. You have time that’s still given by God, don’t waste that. If you are going to waste it don’t call it Christianity because I love Jesus very much.
I love your past music. “Drawn to You” is absolutely amazing, not sure how you feel about it now but it’s beautiful and the video is perfect. In any case I look forward to what you’re working on glad to hear you’re back at it.
Are you still a lover of Christ? This is very sad. Christ is King. And we see Biblical prophecy unfolding to this day. Jesus is coming soon. I’m so sad to see this.
No she announced after her divorce that she was no longer a follower of Christ. Why she looks like a lesbian I have no idea what the decision-making process behind that was. But at the moment at least it's very clear that she was never a real follower of Christ

Even the most wonderful catch of a man 🐟 must ask a woman to marry him and feel the risk of her decision. It is her choice that he makes available by asking but it is all a real toss. He is made vulnerable by showing his heart and giving this proposal and waiting for the answer. You could say he still gets the shake in the boots.
Look at the flowers, Audrey. Look at the gentle friendship that is so vulnerably able to be smashed. He still even now has the flowers bloom where you may see them. He still even now, even though. And no flower can ever be disassociated from his righteous cause to make for himself a people. They are those who regret turning away

Our God is not unkind that we should say he ever did us wrong. No, but we are in great need of this One so lovely to heart. This is gentle and so not what I deserve. I am a sinner (one who destroyed myself by fighting my maker) and I am moving, rising from that by no work of my own but because of his proposal that he so vulnerably, injuriously, and shamefully endured without complaining. “No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.” John10:18. Oh his powerfully restrained life. Oh to the Glory of Him does he love in such a way. Oh praise him all you creatures for in him is rest for your souls, agreement with your purpose, fate joyful and becoming with every new season. He is not the enemy. Oh he is a far more frightful thing, to lose and pass up.

It was really heartbreaking for me to know that she left the faith. I came to know about it recently. But I still enjoy her music.

Incredibly sad to see she gave up her marriage, husband, kids, and her faith just to engage in this wicked and self consuming lifestyle. Audrey, it is not worth it despite how "good" it might feel.

This often happens to those that would have the most impact for God. His arms are open wide- I can even hear ur I'm coming home song. Either way your worship music is priceless- we won't know until eternity the impact u have made

All the people here condemning her for moving away from Christian views, DO NOT throw stones. I'm sure everyone of you has fallen short like in Romans. We should pray for and uplift her, and support her as she is a child of God. Audrey, I am so glad you're releasing new music and continue to love support and pray for you.
Nobody is throwing stones. Just like you are writing here everybody else is.
No one is throwing stones. We are throwing life jackets. Notice all the "I feel". Sorry, but when Jesus says to lay down your life for me, that's not supposed to feel good. Surrender isn't. I'm saddened but not surprised. I could see her transformation and shift from Christ centered music to this new age spirituality.

So, I'm confused. I have always so loved your music and heart for the Lord, in spite of how you continued in Roman Catholicism, as far as I could tell. Not one mention of your Savior here has me a little concerned. Not so sure about this transformation?? I don't understand enough about where you are coming from and what you are believing to be able to support your kick start. May the Lord grant you understanding in everything.
There's not better church than Catholic!! The problem is not the church, there's awful cases and worse in protestants sects... the problem is when we don't work to fix our problems and problems start destroying us. Or Jude was in a wrong church? He was with CHRIST, but he didn't work and didn't the necesary changes to be a real christian.

They wouldn’t allow people to have the Bible because they were drunken with power and money and didn’t want believers to know that Grace was freely given! They murdered thousands upon thousands of innocent Christians who refused to conform to the ways of Catholicism.
You pray to “mother” Mary and have statues (idols) of her in your churches. She doesn’t hear you because she is in the grave. As Christ said, the dead know nothing.
The most flagrant abuse was and still is that you confess your sins to a man and ask for his forgiveness. There is only One who can forgive sins and He sits on a Heavenly Throne.
Seriously, study history and the Crusades. Pray for discernment and truth to be revealed to you.

Let’s open our hearts. Jesus didn’t teach us to judge, but rather to love! He is the master and anyone who judges is not following Jesus! Jesus teaches not to repress the darkness, in A Course in Miracles. The ego has a ton of darkness that needs to come up and brought to the light. Fear of intimacy is the fear of God’s love. She is being very honest which shows the desire to heal. These things that Audrey is struggling with is often not addressed by Christians and their judgments. But is addressed by Jesus in ACIM. What we need is spiritual psychotherapy
Remember that God is powerful enough to create this whole world in 6 days.
Nothing too complicated for him because he is the Maker and Author of all things.
The fact that our bodies go to dust it proves scientificaly that we are made from dust as Genesis said. And we have His breath of life.
God wants you to have real faith not what you have been before.
Hopefully we will meet in Heaven..if not it will be very sad for all of us who loved your music.

I adore you, have listened to you and even performed your songs despite the fact that I am not a Christian myself. When I found LEVV I was over the moon, and now I’m finding even deeper connection to you and your work. Deconstructing religion is no small feat and I am rooting for you from former Mormon battlefields. Can’t wait to watch you fly!

I Love that you found yourself. I hate that so meny comments are “come back to God”, and not: ‘great to get more music from you” or “it does not matter if you believe in God to make wonderful music”. I am an atheist myself, but have still loved your older music, not because of the religion, but because of your talent. You continue going forward and enjoy life now…the world is what WE make of it, not what was written ages ago by bearded men. I wish you all the best ❤️

Faith is not something that is in our control. Audrey can’t make herself have faith. God puts faith in our hearts.

I appreciate that you are respectful and HONEST with those of us who have supported you since your first album. I never like piercings and all these fashion like street style, that always have been low level for me and that always means something negative, antibiblical and ml odesty is basic to be a good Christian.

You are an amazing musician and I think it's great that you're pursuing this new direction. I will go contribute to your Kickstarter now. Best of luck with this project and I can't wait to hear it!
