For those who are wondering, Viper's smokes decay the enemy HP and her mollys deal poison damage. Neither of them is enough to kill the other team on its own but if you combine the two abilities it's enough damage. So what we saw here is the Viper planted the bomb and placed her smokes on top of the bomb since the enemy HAS to defuse it. Viper doesn't know where the enemy is, but she knows where they will be (the bomb). So Viper sets the smokes and moves to a safe location and proceeds to shoot her poison over the walls at the bomb using lineups. Enemy only has three choices. Either try to defuse and die to the poison, don't defuse and die to the bomb, or try and find and kill the viper first...but since Viper knows where they're coming from it's ez kills.
I was watching the whole stream and I legit surprised how much of a big brain this viper is. Too make it simple for fps player, this viper plant a bomb, but rather stay on which position is better to lookout for enemies to come, he pick the most confusing one that no one would think of. Plus the ult that can kills the enemies plus the nades(?) he threw really got those 3 bamboozled
any of viper's smokes(ult or circular smoke) gradually reduces the opponent's armor to 0 and hp to 1. it is deadly when viper baited long enough until enemy could die in 1-hit by anything.
I remember back then some Viper and Brimstone(?) do a "lesser" version of this big brain move. Instead of picking up genius angle like this viper, they will literally stand on the bomb, look all the way up, and then shoot their toxin/flame grenade, and then leaves. They do this kinda nearing the end of the timer, but not too close so enemy will still tried to defuse it. So what happened is, the enemy sees the seemingly defenseless bomb, tried to defuse it, but then gravity do their jobs and the grenades finally fall back down on the bomb after few second passes. If they stay there, they'll die, but if they didn't defuse it, they'll die.
Damn, this reminds me when i played Viper in Valo few weeks after its release. It was my 1v3 or 1v4 clutch, probably 1v3 tho, and the play is NO WAY as big brain as the video. I basically plant the bomb, set up her poison wall, poison cloud, and pop her ult around the bomb. So in my match, since you can silent walk in valorant, all that i do i just managing her ult "timer" by coming in, rotating, and coming and out while silent walk, as i pick them 1 by 1. My teammate was going crazy in the chat as my hands goes sweaty and started to breathe heavily. It is straight up like the scene from John Wick 3 where he blend with literal shadows to only appear from different side of the room. None of the enemy know where i was. I triggered the poison cloud i set up near the edge of her ult as a bait, meanwhile i was at the other side of the edge. I triggered her poison wall so i can actually run inside the ult without getting highlighted, and then i go silent walk again after rotating. I also only shoot a few shots, so they know it's not a lucky hit from outside of the ult. None of them also catch how their teammate died. The enemy was panicking as they started shooting blindly, but they didn't know i am as panicking as they were lol. It really captures the feeling of hunting a prey. The adrenaline rush and the feeling that i clutched it was just so good and memorable. Viper is really really fun.
I don't play Valorant so I was really confused at the first part lol though she threw her skill and killed an enemy somewhere or something. thanks for the clip!
real "don't worry, i got lineups" moment

this viper put alot of time and effort into valorant to know about these lineups and post plant plays really nice
1:57 Astel was so flabbergasted he turned from anime protag into McDonald and freedom real quick.
Player clearly played CSGO and understands the importance of learning nade lineups.
that "what the faq" made my day
I didn't know about that line up lmao
That lineups so cool
