The magic of Aventus happens when it has sat on the skin for an hour. Spraying and smelling the paper straight away can be quite intense/sharp for any fragrance.

Honestly, I was able to snag a discontinued 120ml bottle of Himalaya from a 2016 batch for 40% off at a boutique, but for the retail price on Creed's fragrances there is a lot to be expected in terms of longevity. I get 1 - 2 hours of projection, then it becomes skin scent for 6-8 hours
She is just into oriental smells & probably prefers heaven gourmand scents as well. Personally I love Aventus, Virgin island water & Milliseme Imperial. They work great in San Francisco spring & summer days.
I agree completely. Silver Mountain Water is the only one I'd put above those.

The sad fact is that most creeds smell very good but suffer from bellow avarege performance and are way too expensive. If the prices were half of what they are charging then it would be an ok buy... but you can get much better niche fragrances for much cheaper ( such as mancera for example).
They have a lot more competition these days and some of their fragrances aren’t as good as they used to be!
