この映画が好きな人にはたまらない素敵なメドレーライブなんですけど、ジェニファー・ウォーンズの足元ばかりに目が行ってしまうのは私だけなんですかね。白いスニーカーがなんか目立ってしょうがない。学校の先生に見える。
Heard the Eric Carmen part and thought he was doing playback, then I realized he was singing live for real, amazing vocal there

Jesstoni; not advanced enough to use live in real time like they do now. In the studio maybe, but in ‘88 auto tune wasn’t advanced enough to use live.

Cyndie Only if you promise to return it in 10 days. My two daughters were in Dance School when "Dirty Dancing" appeared, and their senior class girls and boys at the school did a modified version of the Final Scene in their Recital. It was SUPERB, including a portion of the stage dancing and even the jump/lift! One of my greatest memories of my two girls, who are now women in their own right, with husbands and 2 children each, and both of their girls are in Dance School, just like their Moms. And both are as talented as their Moms were, and as pretty.
Awww a proud papa very sweet, the jump/lift is an epic part of the movie along with the catch phrase ''nobody puts baby in the corner'' lol... If you recorded your girls' recital I bet their girls now enjoy watching their mom.😊

I've always loved Jennifer Warnes from her early years through today, and it was her imperfections that I loved so much about her. Later in life she got her teeth fixed and dropped the glasses but to me it was those things that I adored about her. I still love everything about her but don't ever let anybody even imply you aren't beautiful or sexy just because every tooth isn't perfect and white as snow or because you wear glasses or whatever. Imperfection is a GOOD thing and is sexy as hell :)
When she first gained notoriety she was on the Smothers Brothers show. She had really long hair and glasses but she looked really pretty. She was kind of a hippy. You can see her on RUclips from those shows. After that she next was visible with her smash hit “Right Time of the Night” and frankly she looked like John Denver in Drag. I like her in longer hair. In one of her videos with Joe Cocker she’s got long frizzy darker hair and looks good again.

This is awesome! I can honestly say I have NEVER even seen a picture of Jennifer Warnes! She has a beautiful voice, but she looked and moved nothing the way I expected. I expected to see someone who looked like Susan Sullivan in her "its a Living" days. Ha!!! God I miss the 80s. Lol
1988 - My favorite year and The Time of My Life, Hungry Eyes and the rest of the songs in the DD Soundtrack were possibly my favorites during this time. The Time of My Life has to be one of the best duets in that decade.

This movie was quite a smash among the youth in the later 1980's (I was at school, finishing up.)... Pop rock, imo, was dipping in creativity a little bit then, and this movie perhaps invigorated the scene somewhat.
