I like that we never get a reason why the strangers kill their victims. It's best left unknown; if we get an answer, any answer, it ruins the mystery and could leave us unsatisfied.
We know babydoll started before the other two because she tells them how easy it is. So her motivations may be different than the other two...
We do. It’s the idea of three Psychopaths coming together and realizing they love to just kill random people.
What I thought would’ve made a better sequel would be the origin of the killers coming together. They must’ve grew up killing animals and killed a family member or something
@@tylerthompson1842nope, an origin is a terrible idea. That defeats the whole purpose of the original film. They are supposed to be normal people with abnormal interests. It’s just three demented people who take a break from the monotony of life to unleash some carnage. That’s what makes The Strangers interesting.

I just love that The Strangers: Prey at Night finale just rips off Christine, Halloween 2, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Halloween 4 to create a perfectly over the top ending.

The Strangers (2008) is one of the most greatest and scariest horror movies of all time. The story, performance's, music, images, astomphere, tension, and cinematography was so suspenseful, haunting, mysterious, thrilling, intense, eerie, creepy, and spooky 😰😱 which absolutely and positivity works perfectly for the movie. What makes it that is the concept and theme is truly effective, brilliant, frightening, and chilling as something that haunts you and you feel powerless and vulnerable that you can't stop it as it's winning. 😰😱 The thought of something that's getting full control and power of your fear and paranoia is definitely and completely horrifying and terrifying.😰😱 To this day the ending still gives me chills and goosebumps 😰😱 as it gives a insightful and articulate representation of how true evil wins 😰😱 and I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It was decent. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍

I actually don’t want them to do the supernatural route. We have enough slashers who do that. What made them scary was they were real people without motive and could be anyone. A home invasion could happen

This one is all time for me, especially in the Home Invasion Horror category. Scared the hell out of me as a kid. Only little negatives I have are stupid ass character decisions and the Strangers seeming to be able to teleport lol but stuff like that is in most horror movies anyway. I just don’t see this new trilogy being able to capture what the original felt like at the time. Also S/O Mike!!!
I would've brought Liv Tyler's character back for the third one having her be put for revenge for the last few years.

I just don't like these movies. They don't work for me, I keep waiting for the victims to stop being scared, get MAD and fight back. I wish the strangers would knock on Cliff Booths door and he answers the door asking what the fuck do you want? Then proceeds to just destroy them with his dog and a couple of can goods.

Im gonna be honest here im glad i never saw the strangers it would annoy me to see liv tyler weak and screaming although scott speedmen has always played weak i mean look at the underworld movies hes always beat up or captured or contained a freezer! I did however see strangers prey the night and i liked that obe alot cause the victims kicked their ass
