    not sure what everyone is complaining about. he's an artist. he's sharing his process. no one says you need to write how he writes. beating him up for how he naturally and comfortably expresses himself through music seems a bit self-righteous. create. don't hate.

    I like it, good track- sometimes I like to watch how pros are working- very little tips for new ideas to try and tips for improve my workflow.
    People expect that masters reveal them "magic key" to produce good tracks, but the only "magic key" is hard work and experience. Every pros tell you this, thats all you need.

    Geeez! How much mouse usage? Has he not noticed that Maschine is hardware?

      Come on Music Production Tutorials Danny! Sometimes people get stuck in their ways, bad habits and all that, under pressure in front of an audience etc it wouldn't have been a good video if 20 minutes of it was searching for the right function on the hardware,,, like your videos, hunting for the correct keyboard shortcut in Logic......and blaming over use of Ableton Live :-D

      I wouldn't say Uner was not good, but he surely needs to sit down with Machine and work out its potential. He might as well have bought Mikro for what he is doing with the hardware - but once he gets his head around the hardware he'll be working faster and smarter.

      Marc Atkins but it was sold as (and titled so until they changed it) a Maschine composition video. Maschine is hardware.. designed to enhance workflow. He might as well have been using any old plugin for beat programming. It's totally missing the point. I'm not singling out PB on this.. i've raised the same issue with ADSR in the past.

    This is cool but I wish it showed how he arranged the song after making the loops. Whether he did it in Ableton or Maschine itself. I cant decide which is quicker...

      Travis MacDonald The ADE panel itself was over an hour long, in which Uner did explain his arrangements. This is just a highlight video. Come along to our next live event!

      The arrangement, yes that's the point why i will sell my maschine. Too much routing every time. Its nod like drumrack where yiu just put the patterns in the ableton arrangement. It would be so cool NI offer a solution for this :(

    • @TMsite12
      @TMsite12 9 лет назад

      Da far Well there are different ways you can do it. yes routing everything to an individual channel in a 'daw' takes a lot of time. But you could make a template.....or you can export all track to audio...........or what I am thinking....id arrange all your Maschine stuff within its arranger......and do you ableton (or other daw) stuff in Ableton.......then just sync them.......I am not sure really which I think is the most efficient way yet... Don't sell the Maschine. You will regret it. =)

    Do you seriously need all that equipment to make music this simple

    • @djmarcatkins01
      @djmarcatkins01 9 лет назад +5

      I'm sure you have many popular releases on high profile record labels using your speak and spell and Casio Tone keyboard! This kind of equipment has made what you would find cost tens of thousands of pounds in recording studios available to those with much less money..... why are you complaining? You can make good or bad music with any kind of equipment, its what you do with it that counts....

    • @scyhte82
      @scyhte82 6 лет назад

      "all that equipment"? it's a macbook, a keyboard and a maschine controller. pretty basic i'd say. :D

  • @thegroove2000

    I always find Maschine too synthetic in sound quality. My MPC 2000 is prehistoric compared to Maschine in features but the sound quality blows it away. Drums sound fuller and have lovely color to them,. Thats is indisputable fact. Unless your deaf of course.

    • @thegroove2000
      @thegroove2000 9 лет назад

      And they cut thru the mix.

    • @djmarcatkins01

      YEH!! and if you asked the average man on the street, you know the 99% of those that will listen on iPod ear phones, in their cars and on crappy nightclub systems... they won't notice the difference..... or care and if you heard a beat from an MPC 2000 and one from a Maschine, not knowing which was which I dare say you wouldn't be able to tell either!

    • @thegroove2000

      Thats a good point. I do agree. Its a shame to be honest.

  • @RockstahRolln
    @RockstahRolln 8 лет назад

    That's hilarious! He's using mouse controls when everything can be controlled through the hardware itself LOL!! Nevertheless, it still a good choon.

    • @scyhte82
      @scyhte82 6 лет назад

      yeah because using mouse is still faster if you're used to it. i have a friend who releases on high profile techno labels and he bought an octatrack, a push2 and various other controllers only to sell them all and go back to using the mouse because it worked way better and faster for him. and i can kinda understand that, because trying to do everything with controllers, even maschine, can be quite a pain in the ass and only leads to workflow interruptions and you not getting tracks done.

    quite a good video, you can imagine that if he was at his own place , he will take more time and correct things as soon as detected, but what i like, it's his approach of the groove, and the full use of happy accident, he is not making music the surgeon way, he put down his idea first!

    wow 80% of the things hes doing could have been done with the maschine alone yet this dude decides to use the mouse to click on things over n over again. Kinda beats the purpose of using a maschine.
