      @@pointblankmusicschool l Also thank you bigtime for all this years of high quality content!! We are many producers around the globe that enjoyed and learned from your channel !!! 25 years ago I remember the only music tutorial that I could find online was how to make a infected mushroom kick in sound forge audio editor from a sine wave ... 🎉

    Mike Huckaby just said everything I do agree with!
    now a days I use maschine stand alone as I used Logic Studio and Cubase 7!
    amazing software and hardware!
    I use maschine almost like Huckaby! I mean, I like to use a keyboard with maschine,
    and I'm loving it! maschine changes everything!

      clos morales Two must have PDF or e-book files are, "MASCHINE: The Hip-Hop Beat Makers Missing Manual" by Robert Stevenson and "The Maschine Studio Cookbook" by Neil Ritchie.
      Also, READ the manual, the manual was written for a reason.
      Groove3 also has a very nice set of tutorial videos, get a membership and you can learn a gang of other software as well.

      Point Blank Music School Hey I've had the most fun I've ever had using Maschine using Mike Huckaby's technique! It could take up to an hour to set up. I've noticed that you shouldn't use more than 16 groups of sounds because the computer cannot hack it! Any tips on this?

    • @dazeja
      @dazeja 9 лет назад +3

      JimBeam During the movement festival a friend was telling me about his technique and I was floored because it's similar ,not the same, but similar to my Live performance technique using Maschine. So yes I've tried it ,not purposefully. For example I would buy an Expansion and create one project file with as many beats(loops) as I can write from that expansion. Now that I'm watching his tutorials I'm starting to use it during production also because he's perfected it. It's also making it so I don't have to have the computer open during a performance because it's really organized. I love it now because I can now close the laptop and put the machine controller on top of the laptop and perform. I still like having multiple percussions inside of a group, so I don't use the groups in that way but my scenes are nothing but programmed loops I've written.

    Sounds good to me. Be creative, explore the sound libraries, make use of the features the machine has, then copy-protect that master work one produces before someone else does.
    I created the theme tune used in Midsomer Murders and the chorus used in the Harry Potter production. A visiting friend asked me to play those tunes after asking me about the stories I had built with my art. I played the tune for the detective program on a Theremin I had. The theme tune used in the wizard story Was played on an Ensoniq Mirage synthesizer. I believe the tunes I created and played to my inquisitive visitor were secretly recorded. What I have written here is true. So, be well informed and drive your machine outside the foundry of your mind and studio, your intellectual property, then put your work in the hands of the people before some bum takes what you worked for out of your reach. David Vad Krogh in my eyes he did give users something to work with:
      1. Learn the navigation and you got maschine beat ( workflow)
      2. Use the Maschine as an idea generation tool ( the one beat per scene, which is a dope concept).

      David Vad Krogh dude... were you even watching? He’s giving away gold for free that usually you have to learn by attending a workshop. You didn’t find exactly what you were looking for.. boo boo. Watch it again and I promise you will learn something valuable.

      I feel u man. I initially had to scroll past a bunch of blah blah blah but there are nuggets of gold in there. I’d argue some of the most brilliant knowledge can only be found in bits and pieces by geniuses whereas if it’s a laid out class, it’s a rehash or interpretation of some OG’s ramblings.
