- 1) Sikon's Nihilus vs Sion mod (2005)
An alternate version of the scene can be seen at this link ( • Nihilus v. Sion: 2005 ... ) using alternate mods, including a different Sion model!
I used "HD Darth Nihilus: by Darth_Sapiens: deadlystream.co...
The stars on the bridge of the Ravager come from Kexikus' "TSL Backdrop Improvements 1.4" mod but I didn't use the included TXI files for the textures: deadlystream.co...
I used my own floor panel texture for the bridge of the Ravager. (The one present in the original game was a rather low resolution.)
I also used Darth Nihilus Animation Fix 2.0 by Khrizby (deadlystream.co...)
Finally, I added extra footsteps sounds for Sion and also added just one of the powering down sounds for the Sion's lightsaber as they were missing from the scene. I had to do that for the original version of this video found here ( • KOTOR 2 Cut Content: S... ).
2) Darkwarrior's Nihilus vs Sion mod (2008)
As with all of the other versions of the scene, I used "HD Darth Nihilus: by Darth_Sapiens: deadlystream.co...
I used my own floor panel texture for the bridge of the Ravager.
3) Darth Stoney's M4-78 (2008)
This scene does not appear in the M4-78 Enhancement Project. It only appears in Stoney's version of the mod.
This portion is longer because I wanted to include the build-up to Sion's appearance.
The force crush sound effect in the attack on the Exile's was not present in the original scene but added afterward.
(The sound effect comes from Kainzorus Prime's "Trailer Force Crush sound" mod: deadlystream.co...)
For Darth Sion, I used DeadMan and Darth_Sapiens' "HD 2K Sion" mod: deadlystream.co...
I also Used "HD Darth Nihilus: by Darth_Sapiens: deadlystream.co...
For variety's sake, I used Xedii's "Ravenger mod" to alter the look of the bridge of Ravager: www.moddb.com/g...
(Note that the spelling error of "Ravenger" is faithfully copied from Xedii's mod title. Yes, I do know how to spell "Ravager".)
The stars on the bridge of the Ravager come from Kexikus' "TSL Backdrop Improvements 1.4" mod but I didn't use the included TXI files for the textures: deadlystream.co...
Footage for the cutscene on the Ebon Hawk was provided by Xuul.
4) GenoHaradan 0.9 beta by Exile 007
This version comes from the "The GenoHaradan 0.9 beta" mod by Exile007: deadlystream.co...
This version utilizes a redone BIK file (used higher resolution BIK which I recorded in reverse instead of using the BIK provided in the mod.
I also Used "HD Darth Nihilus: by Darth_Sapiens: deadlystream.co...
5) Danil-Ch's and Darth Hayze's Extended Enclave (2014)
These guys did some fantastic splicing for Sion for their scenes. That's why the lines are different in this version.
For Darth Sion, I used DeadMan and Darth_Sapiens' "HD 2K Sion" mod: deadlystream.co...
I also Used "HD Darth Nihilus: by Darth_Sapiens: deadlystream.co...
The stars on the bridge of the Ravager come from Kexikus' "TSL Backdrop Improvements 1.4" mod but I didn't use the included TXI files for the textures: deadlystream.co...
I used my own floor panel texture for the bridge of the Ravager.
I used an unreleased version of Vurt's "fx_conjure" texture which I recolored purple.
Special Thanks:
~ All of the modders that helped me beautify these scenes with their fantastic mods.
~ Xuul for providing the Ebon Hawk footage from Darth Stoney's mod. (My save game didn't have as many crew members to work with. His looked much better.)
~ N-DReW25 and ndix UR for assistance in getting Darkwarrior's mod to work!
~ Darth InSidious for sharing Sikon's mod. (It was impossible to find elsewhere and I must've deleted my copy years ago!)

Thats the point of nihilus
I don't think he's really "saying anything" kinda like a dog barks but isn't directly saying words
@@hiyesiambanana2310 He is saying something, he’s speaking the ancient Sith language. So tehnacly he is speaking semi-clearly. Just not in a language we can understand.
It does seem interesting how vague the dialogue is. Sion doesn’t really talk to him and kind of ignores him, showing that he himself may not understand that well, but I do doubt that he can’t understand completely.
Although, the language isn’t completely vague to Kotor characters, when we are introducers to nihlus virius understands very well what he is saying from what we can see and it’s a clear dialogue.
The fact that nihlus speaks ancient Sith instead of galactic basic shows how much he has been consumed by the dark side. Pretty interesting and does add more to his characther.

Love this encounter. Nihilus tosses Sion around like a rag doll. Sion gets up right after. “That didn’t hurt dumbass”
This is literally the Star Wars representation of "an immovable object meets an unstoppable force".
Unstoppable *Force* lol
Sion: (Ignites lightsaber)
Nihilus: (Runs up to Sion and Force Pushes him) Yeet!
Now imagine all of this, remade with the graphics of Fallen Order.
Beautiful, that would be amazing. A Fallen Order style old republic game going over the lives of the legends characters
I'd hate that. Old games had it down. Their graphics weren't great on a technical level. They were great on an art design level. The images of these old games STAY with me. The bombastic overly detailed realism of newer games is forgettable and almost never classic. Modern games spend so much time trying to look pretty that they never look beautiful.

@@hasta.mp4 wdym used? Also Nihilus would easily drain Revans force energy. Even he cannot stand against such power..
Nihilus literally draining the Force from Sion.
he could not kill sion, his body already dead, he's basicly just spirit like nihilus
@@skyrimbandit3084 He is not. He's just the one which uses force to keep his mind on in the dead body. He felt the pain after his first death until him surrendering
6:00 "I spared you once, I will not do so again."
Half minute later:
Spares her once again
In his defense, he thought he had killed her.
Darth Nihilus speaks something like the Black Speech of Mordor.
You could say Nihilus is pretty similar to Witch King of angmar or the Nazguls ,spectre type of character ,pretty interresting for a sith lord
That final version was absolutely amazing.
I think a few people are underestimating Sion here. Nihilus may have become more of a force than a man, and wielded incredible power, but you have to remember that Sion used the Force to make himself practically immortal. He used his pain and anger to literally hold his body together.
Nihilus knew this, he’s not a dummy. He knew that he couldn’t kill Sion, he just wanted to inflict more pain on him. Sion would sustain more pain inflicted by Nihilus as he lived out the rest of his life in agony. And yet, Sion still wanted to kill Nihilus.
Thus it would’ve turned into an eternal battle between Nihilus and Sion - the living force vs the immortal warrior. As Visas said “They will feed on each other until only one remains.”
But wouldn't Sion die if Nihilus kept draining him and Sion didn't feel a purpose of going on anymore. Can't Sion just die by quiting or giving in?
Nihlus could literally devour all the Force from Sion with ease and end him. Sion uses the Force to sustain his body, without it he would perish immediately. Nihilus is a planet-devourer. They're not even close to being on the same level. This scene does a good job of showing it.
@@Ultimafatum And Nihilus is so OP that it makes him lame. Same with Sion. At least guys like Vader, Dooku, Revan, Malak, and Malgus have to use skill.
It would either be a forever battle or nihilus would win with drain. There’s no circumstance where Sion wins.
For those seeking context:
The first and second versions - they just cover cut content and their only purpose is to enable the player to see that scene and not because it is connected to the plot. So other than that purpose, there is no context.
The third version of the scene - in Darth Stoney's M4-78 mod - is to see how the unused content could be utilized in the story. Near the finish of the new planet, Nihilus is alerted to your player's location. You see the context by watching all the events that led up the Sion vs Ravager scene. In this version, Sion thinks he's killed the Exile.
The fourth version of the scene - in the GenoHaradan 0.9 beta by Exile 007 - Sion believes that Exile has died and confronts Nihilus. This scene also uses the scene as part of the story.
The fifth version of the scene - in the Danil-Ch's and Darth Hayze's Extended Enclave - the Exile has been rendered unconscious at the Jedi Enclave during the conversation with the three Jedi Masters. Sion detects this loss and wrongly assumes she's no longer alive. Once again, Sion no longer needs Nihilus as an ally.
Why didn't you use that new Sion model for all of the versions?
There's a few reasons. First, one of the hands was clipping through the outfit in some of the scenes and was distracting in the video where I didn't use it. For the Sikon version, insidiouskotor used the other model in his video and I didn't want to exactly copy his video down to the model. Lastly, I prefer the original head to the new head.
@@giovannigio3764 In the game, she's only ever called "The Exile."

Unstoppable force of hungry hungry hippos meets immovable object of man too angy to die
It is ridiculous Nihilius ran forward Sion just to force push him
I find it funny
"I have never needed you".
Nihilus: Wait! *Force push*
i think nihilus should be able to kill sion as he just drains the force out so sion cant resurrect himself
But even then given Sion’s intense hatred and anger, the dark side would’ve still sustained him.
To kill him you have to kill the force itself. I see it like the unstoppable force and the immovable object, decide which is which cos both apply to both
Sion was kept alive by the dark side and malachor V so basically he was immortal until something broke his link to either one
GoingBy Owen I don’t think he was kept alive by Malachor V, just places LIKE Malachor V because they seethed with strong negative emotions and death, which empowered him.
Nihilus has the ability to cut one off from the force. Why he didn't do so is beyond me... maybe he had further use for sion. but cutting him off would have killed sion would have killed him for sure.
That first version though when Nihilus drops down... Lol.
1:48 "How it feels to chew 5 gum."
Stimulate the experience
best gum ever
To me Last version is the best
Yes.
Agreed.
I agree
Minus the spliced lines, yes
I think the scene would have worked before the prologue. Sion has killed master vash, the last jedi known to be alive by the public and goes to his ally to tell him that they have completed their mission to destroy the jedi and that he has discovered that their old master lives because she has regained her ability to use the force. Since they didn't have a common goal and nihilus was not powerful enough to permanently sever kreia from the force, he claims their alliance is over. Nihilus tells him that they have to work together to kill hidden jedi that he senses and stop kreia, and the rest of the scene continues. Nihilus then commands sion to find kreia by using an unknown jedi exile his spies discovered as bait to kill kreia. Since we cannot understand nihilus, no major plot moments are spoiled.
Wouldn't you strip the Sion's entrance of its horror element if you see that he can be beaten at the outset? Besides, none of the movies ever had a scene *before* the title crawl.
@@scarletguard Great point. It would be like having Palps slap Vader around at the start of ANH.
But Vash was killed shortly after the Ebon Hawk returned to Korriban.
Last One was amazing.
Yeah, the last one is the most fleshed out IMHO.
He made Sion really look like a wimp in that one. The second one is the one that made Sion look the weakest though since he didn't even try again, he just limped away.
Umm if Nihilus needs to feed constantly, why doesnt he trap Sion and constantly drain him? He is clearly stronger it would be ultimate fuel for him lol.
Sion's power and will isn't infinite .
Sions anger would rebel and become a POSSIBLE threat, better safe than sorry, easier to manipulate than imprison than chance them using their own minds, method behind madness my young apprentice
Sion is a breach/hole in the force he can't feed on him, it would be the same result as when nihilus tried to feed on the exile when he fought with him
first version is the best, simple and effective. Nihilus unleashes pure hell on Sion and he simply gets right back up. It shows that both are powerful and it ends in a draw
Most folks seem to pick the last one so it's nice to see an outlier here.
Yet Sion like a good pet LEARNED HIS PLACE
7:51 Nihilus leans over Sion ''You got knocked tf out man!''
This dude Nihilus just disintegrated some poor people with force lightning like it was nothing
This proves Nihilus was more powerful than Sion.
This should be call, " five ways of nihilus fucked with sion"
I like the first one but, my favorite is the 2014 version. I don't really know how to explain it but, dialogues and staging is use better. I like to see it as a movie in my head, imagening when Sion passing the deck, for a couple of seconds, the persperctive of Nihilus's slaves in the pit. Imagening the sith acolytes of Sion, after the life drain of Nihilus, be reduce to red smoking dust and to only have their helmets remaining. Imagening all Sion's hate in his eyes after being self resurected and turning his back... I think KotOR II is great and really loved because, all main characters and villains are special and have so much meaning in their writing.
all i gotta say is nihilus ftw. I am honestly seriously annoyed after finally playing the game to realize the bit part they gave such a powerful character.
I really don't like the love for Nihilus and the hate for Sion in these comments. They cannot defeat each other. Nihilus is an unstoppable force, Sion an immovable object. Nihilus has the greatest destructive power in the Galaxy, Sion is alive for as long as he wills it. It is a neverending scenario.
For all we know, that's what Nihilus said to Sion...
I agree. People just need to focus on what matters. Having these games return. For once
Sion isn't as immortal as you're making him out to be. The player can kill him by just continually beating him down, Sion getting noticeably more exhausted after each 'death' until he finally dies as he can no longer sustain his resurrections.
Also the entire point of Sion is that he uses the Force to keep himself alive, and the entire point of Nihilus is that he drains the force entirely from people. If Nihilus drained all the force from Sion Sion would just die, it'd be like pulling the life support from a coma patient.
@@MrFaorry This is untrue. Sion was undone because his will was broken by a person who gained all of Kreia's affection and attention. He was undone because the Exile was his weakness and broke his will, not just through sheer physical power. The Exile convinced Sion to let himself die. That Nihilus drains the Force is true, and that nothing can survive in his presence is true likewise. However, Sion, at this point, is no longer truly alive, not in the sense that is understood by others. He cannot decay and die like Tobin and the other slaves. Yes, it might be possible that Nihilus might defeat Sion eventually, by draining him again and again of Force until no Force longer runs in anyone and anything to absorb, but it would be a battle lasting... way too long. Sion would be the very last to fall in the entire Galaxy... and then Nihilus would die because he had fed on the last thing that had Force in it. So Nihilus would gain nothing but a pyrrhic victory.
@@DraculaCronqvist Yes the regular route has the Exile convince Sion to let go of his hate and die, however you can just not do that and you fight him a few more times than you would otherwise until he just keels over and dies from being unable to sustain his immortality.
As for Nihilus killing him, Nihilus can drain the Force from entire planets at a time, draining Sion would be like stepping on an ant to him and would be done in mere moments. We also know that being drained of the force kills regular people like we saw when Kreia killed the Jedi masters, and Sion is straight up only alive because of his power in the Force so he'd be extra dead if drained. Sion would only be the last thing consumed if Nihilus let him, again nihilus drains entire planets so Sion would nothing to him.
This fight would be never ending you have a guy who can't die and I guy that can't be beaten so long as he can drain you. Neither could truly kill the other if they wanted to
Fucking love Nihilus’s reaction in Sikons Version to finding our Traya is alive
Better than the sequels

Sorry, I didn't see this message until now and I don't speak Russian.
I am confused with peoples belief that Sion is as strong as Nihilus, Sion is held together by the force he isn't a wound in the force he relies on it, Nihilius literally devours worlds and can cut people off from the force minus the Exile because she is a wound in the force. I like Sion don't get me wrong, interesting character and he is powerful in a brute force approach but Nihilus just has the means to kill him.

Issue with that mod, I guess.
I like the ones where Nihilus didn't zap his own crew.
I just see no difference and no sense between all of this...
Maybe that's why the scene was cut out.
makes perfect sense, sion, nihilus and kreia's story all stem from the og sith idea, betrayal, so it wouldn't really be all that suprising that at one point these 2 would turn on eachother at some point
How would Sion not know that Traya/Kreia is still alive? That line confuses me
I don't get this scene at all. Is this from the droid planet part or something? I don't even know where this fits in the story. Why did Nihilus even spare him?

Kotor 2 was kind of a letdown tbh, and Kotor 1 did better in just about every regard. Though to be fair Kotor 2 was a letdown because of how high of a bar Kotor 1 set rather than because it was bad in and of itself, Kotor 2 wasn't bad it was just kind of mediocre which was exemplified by how Kotor 1 was leaps and bounds better in every way (especially story and characters which is important in an rpg).
