Since this has been getting more traction recently and I've gotten multiple comments about this, I thought I'd just clear up how I "secretly" added the immersive portals mod to our world!
It is much less complex than you'd imagine, we usually play with optifine for the recourse pack capabilities, as well as other performance mods because their computer runs minecraft poorly, so all I had to do was rename the mod to that of a performance mod and send it to them and telling them that all it was was a performance mod! :)

If Lucraft gets updated to 1.16.5, Immersive Portals is going to be great for creating secret labs and storage areas for super suits. And of course, Immersive Portals has to be fixed a bit when on Forge. For some reason, it's better on Fabric, despite Forge being the OG platform
Because fabric is the better platform.
@@SimplyAzgoth But there's more mods on Forge. Fabric is better, I agree with you on that, but there should be compatibilities for both platform for great mods such as Immersive Portals

Fabric could be better qnd 8s but it had a diffrent way of loading mods so createmod could never be made in fabric
The mod works better on Fabric because that mod platform has less restrictions than Forge mods do.
I love how this whole video is just you and your friend being yourself. Not begging for subs, self promoting, nothing like that. This is the type of videos I love to watch because its honest content! Keep it up!
The other kind is also honest content.
There is no issue with basic self promo but there are people who will ask for subscriber every few minutes or try to guilt trip you into doing so, most youtuber I see dont just ask once. Asking once is perfectly fine but most youtubers go to far

Why would they fake the survival world if it seems like the usual nice and cozy survival world any person would make? Why would they feel the need to script the whole thing if that would only take more work, even if the video is fake? Scripting and faking are two very different things. Lastly, it isn’t even fake… this is very simple to do as a troll with your friends, just rename the mod and send it to them telling them it’s an optimization or QoL mod like I told you on the other comment you made :/

Another RUclips like you does this but his name is doni bobes, I stopped watching him cause his content seemed very scripted in the end but I watch yours and I feel amazed how it isn't scripted and absolutely fell in love with the minecraft prank genre again cause of you.

I had a dream about a month ago of a concept where it's you have a painting of a location and that painting works as a portal to wherever is painted. So say you have a painting of a warped forest if you walked into that painting you'd end up in a warped forest (that looks like the painting did when you entered)
just the title of this video alone made me remember that dream.
edit: it didn't need to be a dimention either you coould have the painting be of a blue concrete room with a fish tank in the wall and walking through would take you to said blue concrete room with the fish tank in the wall.

I'm pretty sure it is just a large room of item frames with maps in covering the floors and walls.
You can do it in vanilla. You make the rooms out of Sea Lanterns, cover it all in Item Frames, then put a complete white map in each item frame (you can make a white map just by going to any place you don’t mind messing with, mapping a map of it, fill in the entire area the map shows with a white block (make sure it is all the same elevation to prevent shadows) and then lock the map by combining it with a Glass Pane in a Cartography Table)

Wait, how did you get the nether portal normal? No matter what i do, it ALWAYS goes into immersive portals mode for me.
Since it was a survival world we had created & played on in vanilla, the portal was also made in vanilla and so installing immersive portals after didn't replace it and kept the vanilla version!
