Amazing. I was getting some of the problems that my teacher gave me wrong because he never taught us the difference between mutually exclusive and non-mutually exclusive events. I was using the addition law for mutually exclusive events when I was working with NON-mutually exclusive events and wondering why I wasn't getting the right answer. Thank you for explaining the difference!

I recommend to use only safest formula for "addition/or" i.e P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B) .... Then find the overlapping part for P(A and B)... If nothing then P(A and B) = 0
