Yes and no...when you compare it to any high end long board or skateboard of any kind, it is reasonable.
Maybe thinking about the electric fake one
you could drop 1000s for a snowboard set-up clothes and maybe ride ten times a year for another 1000 bucks. you could ride a freebord for 10 years over 100 days a year for pennies
