Some key information about Infinity Nikki's gacha system: -90 diamonds daily (120 diamonds for 1 pull) -20 pulls/2,400 diamonds for guaranteed 5 star piece (base probability to get a 5 star piece is 1.5%) -10 pulls/1,200 diamonds to guarantee a 4 star piece -the current outfit in the limited resonance banner has 9 outfit pieces to make a full outfit (180 pulls/21,600 diamonds for full outfit) -free limited pulls have an expiration date as of reunion playtest
Seems a little more generous than their previous games actually. Are you always guaranteed to get a piece you don't have, or can you get duplicates? If you only get the pieces you don't have, it's SUPER generous.

9:17 I’m used to the energy system because I play 4 gacha games, and this one refreshes faster than the others, so I’m like "omg yay :D" 😂 the norm is 1 per 6 minutes. But I don’t know how fast energy depletes or what you can spend it on, so I guess I shouldn’t get *too* excited yet
The other Nikki games was 2min per energy, but their cap raised as you leveled, I don't know if they will do the same in this game as they did on their other games.
The other players are so lucky to unknowingly enjoy the benefits... meanwhile the veteran nikki, gacha and otome players are all excited about any tiny improvements from the usual norm x'D
I mean, if it is free to play it may be worth giving a chance anyway. It is also refreshing that it is more focused on exploration than combat. My main concern is the game requirements, as I prefer not to strain my system to play a game....
Im sorry but... Just dont buy the gachas if u guys dont want to 😂 the game is super chill to play if u dont want to pay money for it. You stil will gain a lot of stuff for free and the gems u can also save up FOR FREE and even pull the GACHA FOR FREE. So honestly if u want to give it a try, dont be discouraged by the mechanism
The only thing about the free stuff that i don't like and hope they change, is that if you get free revelation crystals they are limited time... Which means you can't save those for when you want to garantee pulling a full outfit. And they seem to give away the crystals a lot more than diamonds for free, at least for the current events, that may also change in the future. But will see, either option would make the game so much better than other gachas. But I always try to play gacha games F2P, or as close as I can to free to play...
Its possible to play a gacha 100% free, coming from an ex Genshin player. of course you wont get everything, but you can save for when something comes out that you really like. Genshin and Nikki's interface is very similiar.

This game is my DREAM. It's like perfectly designed to my liking. I've been waiting years for a game like this to come out. This is one of a kind. Open world dres up adventure. I've felt something off with everygame before this, and this is the one
I think people need to be explained what gacha games are and companies are hiring psychologist to figure out how to get players to part with money and get them hooked to the game using less ethical means. And people need to understand how gaming, something seen as adaptive (helpful) even as a way to for someone to distract themselves as a mental health tool. But it can be maladaptive when addictive components like gambling are used in games.
If I may ask, where have you seen that they hired psychologists? Even without spending money on it it’s really true that gacha games are designed to play with our weaknesses and frustrations. I have access to the beta of IN and I feel like the chests and rewards you find in the wild are meant to be underwhelming so that you feel the need to makes some pulls on the banner… I felt a little manipulated when I begin to notice these little details. I wish that it was a single player game but the company is specialized in those mobile games and it’s the trend anyway so it is what it is… You can still feel the love and the attention to the details in the world, it’s not just a money grabber, at the very least
i can't believe there's people who don't know what gacha games are, it's been there for a very long time years before Genshin Impact even launched. I guess it's because you might be in the west? I see that gacha games are finally breaking out of the niche and growing mainstream worldwide which causes all the confusion, but gacha games have always been designed to take your attention, love and money.

@MissBubbles I'm hopeful that the fact that this game seems to - for lack of a better term - actually be a game and not just a collection of gachapons in a trenchcoat (which is essentially what Love Nikki and Shining Nikki are) will mean that it's not quite as bad, but yeah. It's a shame because it's easy to imagine a world where Infinity Nikki could be an incredible cozy game.
Honestly Nikki games are only heavy transactions if you’re going in wanting everything and especially looking at the 5 star stuff, what you should really be looking at is that the schedule for the new stuffs isn’t as brutal as the other games have been. But this is paper so you never know.
So, as someone who plays Gacha Games for a year now I obviously have to talk about the "Elephant in the room", which isn't even the case because Nikki has always been Gacha as far as I know xD So I mainly play Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail and tried out Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero. And, at least for Genshin and Star Rail, I would say that most Gacha Games nowadays are very f2p friendly. All 4 games have a Patch cycle of 6 weeks. This means that we will have the 1.0 Patch on Release and 6 weeks later we will have the 1.1 Patch and this will go on for years. With every Patch we get new Content, in Infinity Nikkis case this could mean new areas to explore, new clothes, new QoLs, new Story and Events. So you will always get new content and more currency to use on the Gacha system. The amount of currency you get for the Gacha will depend on the Patch. But as an f2p you won't really have it too hard to get the Pulls. I often feel like people still see Gacha as money grab which it is, but not only. Most of the games give as such great Story and Characters, often it feels like these are better and more flashed out than in Games for whom you pay 60-80$. Nowadays you get good f2p games with these. Obviously, Gacha isn't the best thing in the world, that's not what I'm trying to say. But it is sad to see how damn sceptical people still are after Companies like Hoyoverse show that Gacha Games deserve the same recognition as "normal" Games.
As you see from the comments, majority of people never played a Nikki game before and had no idea it's a gacha free to play game. Heck I never heard of Nikki until this game came around and had no idea it's free either
I've been playing the Nikki franchise daily since 2017, first with Love Nikki and then with Shining Nikki. So of course I've been super hyped for this game from the first announcement but it has exceeded my expectations. I'm in the playtest and the amount of polish and care and depth is incredible! I think this new foray into open world adventure will bring a lot of new players into the franchise.
Oh my, this is honestly what I need to know and acknowledge about the game and literally you covered everything! (I love your voice as well!) I'm interested in Infinity Nikki from my moots when they show the snippet of the beta and knowing it's a cozy game is a plus point! I'm going to add one more thing to the not for you list: - this game is not for you if you give too much importance to collecting every single piece that comes out. I've been a fan of Love Nikki and Shining Nikki for years and I had to learn to heal my anxiety of missing out. The nikki games are known for having limited events back to back, and unless you whale a ton + have godly luck, there's no way you will get them all. And lets not get started on the hellevents lol They're amazingly cozy games tho if you take your time and choose wisely.
@@orion.6 they do! More common in LN tho, but they take several months. There are some once in a lifetime events like the sanrio or disney collabs but many UR events(SN) and hellevents(LN) do rerun eventually☺️
As a gacha player, 5 mins isn’t that long as some have closer to 10 mins. The pulls depend on pull currently and pity system for the gacha, but you could also be ftp.
The Nikki series was my first gacha game and the longest ones I've played so far. I actually just recently stopped spending money entirely on LN or SN and I've been a longtime paying player. I'll still play IN when it comes out though. I also just recently started playing GI and WuWa so I've been spending very mildly on those two.

It was annoucced that controller will be added. But equally crashes and lags are to be expected in Beta stages. Enegry is the same mechanics that was present in the previous nikki games and you get a LOT of items that replenishes it :) You could also already see the store and the prices and honestly, they seem to copy their previous model. What exactly the concerns that people arent already discussing?
It looks fun and adorable. But I don't do free to play, I'm happy to pay full price for a game, but I won't do micro-transactions. :\ Really wish these games would let folks just buy an offline edition with everything unlocked.
Agree w the premise but this game would charge literally thousands of dollars for all of their content. The point for most players isn’t to unlock all content, it’s to pay what you want and spend as much time as you want grinding. For example, I played about 40 hours of Genshin Impact and spent about $15-20. For me that’s more than worth the money. I don’t need tons of new characters, and I earned a few for free. On the other hand, the whales who can’t control their impulses get taken advantage of and spend thousands over time. So games like this wouldn’t benefit from a $60 version or whatever.

A very long investment of time and money. An offline edition would only be possible until the entirety of the main plot finishes, or if the company decides to release Part 1, Part 2, etc for Paid Offline Editions of the game by some miracle never-seen-before. Infinity Nikki simply isn't an otome game that could just release a Paid Version with completed storyline, and that's how most gacha games are. If you want a completed, offline game edition like that in this economy, you'd have to take the first step and make the game yourself and hopefully you'd be a trendsetter.
Well good thing this isn’t a game where you have to spend money, I played a love Nikki game for 3-4 years never spent a single dollar in the game and I had tons of clothing and cute stuff. You don’t need to spend money to enjoy love Nikki games at all 😭
im very excited about it. Im expecting the usual microtransaction/gacha components that come with games like this but as long as i can clear content and progress without the SSR pulls I will be happy. I'm always F2P on games like this and even if things are locked behind those gachas it looks like a solid open world game that I can have fun in and take cute pictures
Not sure what you are talking about, but the game is a single player game. Gacha is not so bad, the bigger the games (and this game is very big) - the player friendlier are the gacha systems. I have played many similar games and it's easy to get most of the stuff without spending a single cent.
I mean gachas can be single player like Genshin. I do wonder if the game would have worked with if we bought the game and got dlcs instead of gacha. But a mobile game series isn't going to do that😅
regarding preformance issues, we need to know what your specs are. in particular, we need to know you're running the game on an NVME and not a HDD. maybe the other creators didn't mention it because it wasn't an issue for them?
they probably didnt mention it cuz most people these days are using SSDs, they're very cheap even the crappiest SATA ones and faster than HDDs. Even phone' storage memory is faster than HDDs. I don't recommend playing a UE5 online only game with probably anti cheat to use a HDD, might cause a lot of stutter if you're using a slow drive that can't keep up (Wuwa has this issue)
I am using an nvme, RTX 4070 ti and AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, pretty solid rig and it couldn't handle the game. Most cozy gamers will be running this on a laptop, so it is important to mention this. Plus when looking at other videos, I saw the pop in, but it was never mentioned.
@@MissBubbles on a SSD? I was really surprised at the performance in the video. we have the same CPU but your graphics card is better than mine - and the game runs flawlessly. the lowest fps dip I've seen is 92.
@@MissBubbles oh no! does that mean your PC is top of the line? actually, I heard there was a game, I think it was Elden Ring, which ran worse on higher end PC. it turns out it couldn't tell the high power cores apart from the power efficient ones. I wonder if this is like that? regardless, PC optimization is often a crapshoot, so I hope PS and Galaxy work better.
What this game does right with the free to play formula is that it’s better than some others. It makes you feel like you’re playing a paid game that rewards you for everything even the little things, there are many rewards, most of the clothes are free to get, just harder to grind if you don’t do microtransactions.

This got me excited bec that game will be released soon but I didn't expect that it's a cozy dress up game. lol It has a battle system although not a focus feature of the game, and the good thing about UE5 is that it's so flexible for any changes the devs might add in the future. The exploration looks really interesting though. I'll make space for it.
I typically play WoW and it makes my anxiety go mad. I love Infinity Nikki! It's so chill but interesting enough to be fun to play. I haven't encountered any glitches as of yet, I'm on level 10 if that means anything. It's a great game. However, getting those whimstars can be nerve grating, lol.
I know this was posted way before the game came out, but Nikki is almost completely customizable, for the most part, in my opinion. Her outfits, jewelry, hair colour, hairstyle, eye colour, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, skin colour, and more- that there is more than most games offer, so I’d scratch that part lol
"Elephant in the room" is just having played the Nikki series lmao Of course it's gonna require microtransactions because that's what pays for all their future and side projects... Global usually sees a dip in care (ie treated more as a cash cow) whenever they decide, and then a month or so later, they'll tell us about it. Preferably it won't be as obvious for this type of gacha format tho - free world exploration etc will be enough for most while waiting for the next installment
I’m all for the occasional girlie game (big fan of the Atelier franchise), but free-to-play mechanics are what turned me off Hoyoverse, and this looks like more of the same. Thanks for the intro, though.
I’m super upset because I got this game to automatically download on my iPad when it officially came out and it’s unplayable.. I don’t want to play on the lowest graphics because I want to enjoy what the game has to offer but even at the lowest settings, my game crashes every 10 seconds. Wish I had a pc
I think if you've played Genshin Impact, you have an idea of what to expect. Also, if you haven't played Genshin then you should. If you want less of the dress up fantasy, and more action adventure portions that is. It's actually kinda funny how it's the opposite of Genshin in that regard. When it comes to dressing/equipping different styles, Genshin is completely limited to its few skins... 🤷
Loved Genshin, played it when it first released, but after a month, I gave up. It became like my part time job with the amount of resources being asked to upgrade and the pulls were soooooo bad

Unreal engine is basically industry standard now so if their QA does not catch it then there’s definitely work in progress to fix it already. I’ve just started playing Palia and it’s running smooth. I would just say to make sure your graphics card is updated and not too old to run games like these!

Been playing Nikki games since 2018 so I am really excited for this game to come out. Been waiting on info since it was announced for the first time when we hardly had any info on it. And been used with gacha games since been playing genshin and hsr for like 1 year + .. am so happy the game is finally here in a few days ^^. No game is perfect imo, there will always be something that would be like a downside, so all that matters is for people to chose playing what they enjoy :) . Not all games will be to everyone's tastes and that is fine since there will always be something out there to everyone's tastes as long as they look for it ^^
I tried the game, but besides really bad lags it makes me soo so sick. Can't walk around a few seconds without getting heavy motion sickness. At least I made my best friend play so she can show me the cute outfits, but I can not watch her exploring the world.

This game looks gorgeous on pc! 💖 I was lucky enough to test the ios beta version, but I got to say it doesn't look nearly as good on mobile (which is to be expected, but still a little let down when you have this beautiful version to compare it too 😅) ... my hopes are now up for the ps5 version of the game
What an upgrade to the Nikki Mobile game! They added so much and the open world actually works because the storyline is pretty similar and they kept Momo❤ and it’s always been an action adventure with outfit battles. I love free to play games and I never minded the gacha aspect because they made it pretty easy to do daily’s in the mobile game when I played 4 years ago. Really loved it as a 2D game with some animation on the special outfits. I typically have enough discipline to not buy the easy way out 😛 so free to play never bothered me. It looks great as a 3D game as well. I was skeptical at first but this preview is looking so much better than I expected! It also stayed true to the original concept of Nikki 😊 This is literally perfect for me 😭… love story driven games. Hope there’s nothing that’s absolutely locked behind a pay wall.
Wish I could identify what it is about certain games I don’t enjoy. It’s to do with the way the camera moves. Most jrpgs have this same kind of camera I don’t enjoy. I love legend of Zelda and Assassin Creed though, there is something different about their angles. What’s different about them and how do I identify it? This game looks too petty though I’ll have to try push through my camera issues.

I was also skeptical lol but is really easy! Maybe for hardcore gamers is may be too easy, but for a noob in pc games like me it was a piece of cake. The only problem I think is I sometimes get really lost between the big ui and the big open world xd I think it is a matter of practice + using the tracking tools they give you so you know what to do next in any given moment, plus a bit of common sense xdd like of there is something that is very high enough and you don't reach, maybe there is a ladder somewhere haha I know it sounds dumb, but I never played 3d games so for me is all new xd
I've played for 3 days now and reached lvl 18. I didn't know what to expect but it came recommended by a Palia streamer. This game is nothing like Palia. There is far too much platforming in this game for me. The graphics are stunning and it's heartbreaking they had to make all the dungeons stressful platforming nightmares. lol I don't consider platforming cozy at all. Cozy to me is decorating a house or your body but with no fighting and platforming. Alas I'm still on the hunt for the perfect game.
Suprised its working on medium on my pixel 6 . Some frame drops in the cutscenes but gameplay is decent enough. I will have to try it on pc or console.
Honestly i have pretty strong distaste towards game that make use of the genshin ui layout. Mmos used to have similar layouts on mobile, but after genshin, a lot of games have it now. And i absolutely hate it. Graphics are amazing though, i absolutely love those
I've played Dragon Raja and I chose a female character. So I'm Cool with this game. It would be nice if we could change the skin color of the character but, its about Nikki. So I'm absolutely fine with it.
I am sure its eye candy for days, but I guess we won't know much until the game drops and runs. There has to be a push for microtransactions or they wont make any money, so will have to see how that pans out. lol

Im on the fence. It's so close to being a dressup focused zelda botw but then they chose to go the free to play route and not to make it as well polished and a story as well setup as botw. It's in this weird limbo between cash hungry app and full game worth paying 50 bucks for.

Okay so it’s much like Genshin impact. I do wish it was an offline and not a service type game 😢 I guess I’ll play it as I play genshin- every 4monthes for 20 min to see the pretty world
as pretty as it looks.. the world is way more realistic than it should be imo. looking at how nikki and the cat are stylized in a super cute way the world should’ve had a little bit too, i mean the way she keeps blending with the environment specially her head cuz the lighting and colors are so similar everywhere with super light shadows actually gives me a headache. Also I didn’t watch any play throughs to not spoil the story as i plan on playing through it myself but for some reason im not expecting much?.. would love to be surprised

9:17 I’m used to the energy system because I play 4 gacha games, and this one refreshes faster than the others, so I’m like "omg yay :D" 😂 the norm is 1 per 6 minutes. But I don’t know how fast energy depletes or what you can spend it on, so I guess I shouldn’t get *too* excited yet
The other Nikki games was 2min per energy, but their cap raised as you leveled, I don't know if they will do the same in this game as they did on their other games.
The other players are so lucky to unknowingly enjoy the benefits... meanwhile the veteran nikki, gacha and otome players are all excited about any tiny improvements from the usual norm x'D
I mean, if it is free to play it may be worth giving a chance anyway. It is also refreshing that it is more focused on exploration than combat.
My main concern is the game requirements, as I prefer not to strain my system to play a game....
it is, now idk how they'll manage recharges but know we have micro-transactions in all the previous games except the first.

The only thing about the free stuff that i don't like and hope they change, is that if you get free revelation crystals they are limited time... Which means you can't save those for when you want to garantee pulling a full outfit. And they seem to give away the crystals a lot more than diamonds for free, at least for the current events, that may also change in the future. But will see, either option would make the game so much better than other gachas. But I always try to play gacha games F2P, or as close as I can to free to play...
Its possible to play a gacha 100% free, coming from an ex Genshin player. of course you wont get everything, but you can save for when something comes out that you really like. Genshin and Nikki's interface is very similiar.

Same, I got too many gacha games already that I dedicate my time to. Plus it’s an open world game… I don’t have time to play a daily open world game. An adult ain’t got time for that! (Which is why I dropped Genshin Impact).

I think people need to be explained what gacha games are and companies are hiring psychologist to figure out how to get players to part with money and get them hooked to the game using less ethical means. And people need to understand how gaming, something seen as adaptive (helpful) even as a way to for someone to distract themselves as a mental health tool. But it can be maladaptive when addictive components like gambling are used in games.
If I may ask, where have you seen that they hired psychologists? Even without spending money on it it’s really true that gacha games are designed to play with our weaknesses and frustrations. I have access to the beta of IN and I feel like the chests and rewards you find in the wild are meant to be underwhelming so that you feel the need to makes some pulls on the banner… I felt a little manipulated when I begin to notice these little details. I wish that it was a single player game but the company is specialized in those mobile games and it’s the trend anyway so it is what it is… You can still feel the love and the attention to the details in the world, it’s not just a money grabber, at the very least

i can't believe there's people who don't know what gacha games are, it's been there for a very long time years before Genshin Impact even launched. I guess it's because you might be in the west? I see that gacha games are finally breaking out of the niche and growing mainstream worldwide which causes all the confusion, but gacha games have always been designed to take your attention, love and money.

The existing Nikki mobile games are VERY microtransaction-heavy and gacha-based so I imagine this will be similar

@MissBubbles I'm hopeful that the fact that this game seems to - for lack of a better term - actually be a game and not just a collection of gachapons in a trenchcoat (which is essentially what Love Nikki and Shining Nikki are) will mean that it's not quite as bad, but yeah. It's a shame because it's easy to imagine a world where Infinity Nikki could be an incredible cozy game.
Honestly Nikki games are only heavy transactions if you’re going in wanting everything and especially looking at the 5 star stuff, what you should really be looking at is that the schedule for the new stuffs isn’t as brutal as the other games have been. But this is paper so you never know.
You practically have to spend money every time you play especially if you want any beautiful dress...
So, as someone who plays Gacha Games for a year now I obviously have to talk about the "Elephant in the room", which isn't even the case because Nikki has always been Gacha as far as I know xD
So I mainly play Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail and tried out Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero. And, at least for Genshin and Star Rail, I would say that most Gacha Games nowadays are very f2p friendly.
All 4 games have a Patch cycle of 6 weeks. This means that we will have the 1.0 Patch on Release and 6 weeks later we will have the 1.1 Patch and this will go on for years.
With every Patch we get new Content, in Infinity Nikkis case this could mean new areas to explore, new clothes, new QoLs, new Story and Events. So you will always get new content and more currency to use on the Gacha system.
The amount of currency you get for the Gacha will depend on the Patch. But as an f2p you won't really have it too hard to get the Pulls.
I often feel like people still see Gacha as money grab which it is, but not only. Most of the games give as such great Story and Characters, often it feels like these are better and more flashed out than in Games for whom you pay 60-80$. Nowadays you get good f2p games with these. Obviously, Gacha isn't the best thing in the world, that's not what I'm trying to say. But it is sad to see how damn sceptical people still are after Companies like Hoyoverse show that Gacha Games deserve the same recognition as "normal" Games.
As you see from the comments, majority of people never played a Nikki game before and had no idea it's a gacha free to play game. Heck I never heard of Nikki until this game came around and had no idea it's free either

I've been playing the Nikki franchise daily since 2017, first with Love Nikki and then with Shining Nikki. So of course I've been super hyped for this game from the first announcement but it has exceeded my expectations. I'm in the playtest and the amount of polish and care and depth is incredible! I think this new foray into open world adventure will bring a lot of new players into the franchise.

I've been a fan of Love Nikki and Shining Nikki for years and I had to learn to heal my anxiety of missing out. The nikki games are known for having limited events back to back, and unless you whale a ton + have godly luck, there's no way you will get them all. And lets not get started on the hellevents lol
They're amazingly cozy games tho if you take your time and choose wisely.
Do events rerun at all?
@@orion.6 they do! More common in LN tho, but they take several months. There are some once in a lifetime events like the sanrio or disney collabs but many UR events(SN) and hellevents(LN) do rerun eventually☺️
As a gacha player, 5 mins isn’t that long as some have closer to 10 mins. The pulls depend on pull currently and pity system for the gacha, but you could also be ftp.
The Nikki series was my first gacha game and the longest ones I've played so far. I actually just recently stopped spending money entirely on LN or SN and I've been a longtime paying player. I'll still play IN when it comes out though. I also just recently started playing GI and WuWa so I've been spending very mildly on those two.

It was annoucced that controller will be added. But equally crashes and lags are to be expected in Beta stages. Enegry is the same mechanics that was present in the previous nikki games and you get a LOT of items that replenishes it :) You could also already see the store and the prices and honestly, they seem to copy their previous model.

Agree w the premise but this game would charge literally thousands of dollars for all of their content. The point for most players isn’t to unlock all content, it’s to pay what you want and spend as much time as you want grinding.
For example, I played about 40 hours of Genshin Impact and spent about $15-20. For me that’s more than worth the money. I don’t need tons of new characters, and I earned a few for free.
On the other hand, the whales who can’t control their impulses get taken advantage of and spend thousands over time. So games like this wouldn’t benefit from a $60 version or whatever.

A very long investment of time and money. An offline edition would only be possible until the entirety of the main plot finishes, or if the company decides to release Part 1, Part 2, etc for Paid Offline Editions of the game by some miracle never-seen-before. Infinity Nikki simply isn't an otome game that could just release a Paid Version with completed storyline, and that's how most gacha games are. If you want a completed, offline game edition like that in this economy, you'd have to take the first step and make the game yourself and hopefully you'd be a trendsetter.
Well good thing this isn’t a game where you have to spend money, I played a love Nikki game for 3-4 years never spent a single dollar in the game and I had tons of clothing and cute stuff. You don’t need to spend money to enjoy love Nikki games at all 😭
im very excited about it. Im expecting the usual microtransaction/gacha components that come with games like this but as long as i can clear content and progress without the SSR pulls I will be happy. I'm always F2P on games like this and even if things are locked behind those gachas it looks like a solid open world game that I can have fun in and take cute pictures

Gacha is not so bad, the bigger the games (and this game is very big) - the player friendlier are the gacha systems.
I have played many similar games and it's easy to get most of the stuff without spending a single cent.
I mean gachas can be single player like Genshin.
I do wonder if the game would have worked with if we bought the game and got dlcs instead of gacha. But a mobile game series isn't going to do that😅

regarding preformance issues, we need to know what your specs are. in particular, we need to know you're running the game on an NVME and not a HDD. maybe the other creators didn't mention it because it wasn't an issue for them?
they probably didnt mention it cuz most people these days are using SSDs, they're very cheap even the crappiest SATA ones and faster than HDDs. Even phone' storage memory is faster than HDDs. I don't recommend playing a UE5 online only game with probably anti cheat to use a HDD, might cause a lot of stutter if you're using a slow drive that can't keep up (Wuwa has this issue)
I am using an nvme, RTX 4070 ti and AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, pretty solid rig and it couldn't handle the game. Most cozy gamers will be running this on a laptop, so it is important to mention this. Plus when looking at other videos, I saw the pop in, but it was never mentioned.
@@MissBubbles on a SSD? I was really surprised at the performance in the video. we have the same CPU but your graphics card is better than mine - and the game runs flawlessly. the lowest fps dip I've seen is 92.
@@MissBubbles oh no! does that mean your PC is top of the line? actually, I heard there was a game, I think it was Elden Ring, which ran worse on higher end PC. it turns out it couldn't tell the high power cores apart from the power efficient ones. I wonder if this is like that? regardless, PC optimization is often a crapshoot, so I hope PS and Galaxy work better.

What this game does right with the free to play formula is that it’s better than some others. It makes you feel like you’re playing a paid game that rewards you for everything even the little things, there are many rewards, most of the clothes are free to get, just harder to grind if you don’t do microtransactions.
Finally, whimsical open world where I can pet the animals. I'm sold.

This got me excited bec that game will be released soon but I didn't expect that it's a cozy dress up game. lol It has a battle system although not a focus feature of the game, and the good thing about UE5 is that it's so flexible for any changes the devs might add in the future. The exploration looks really interesting though. I'll make space for it.

I typically play WoW and it makes my anxiety go mad. I love Infinity Nikki! It's so chill but interesting enough to be fun to play. I haven't encountered any glitches as of yet, I'm on level 10 if that means anything. It's a great game. However, getting those whimstars can be nerve grating, lol.

I know this was posted way before the game came out, but Nikki is almost completely customizable, for the most part, in my opinion. Her outfits, jewelry, hair colour, hairstyle, eye colour, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, skin colour, and more- that there is more than most games offer, so I’d scratch that part lol

Of course it's gonna require microtransactions because that's what pays for all their future and side projects... Global usually sees a dip in care (ie treated more as a cash cow) whenever they decide, and then a month or so later, they'll tell us about it. Preferably it won't be as obvious for this type of gacha format tho - free world exploration etc will be enough for most while waiting for the next installment

I’m super upset because I got this game to automatically download on my iPad when it officially came out and it’s unplayable.. I don’t want to play on the lowest graphics because I want to enjoy what the game has to offer but even at the lowest settings, my game crashes every 10 seconds. Wish I had a pc
I think if you've played Genshin Impact, you have an idea of what to expect. Also, if you haven't played Genshin then you should. If you want less of the dress up fantasy, and more action adventure portions that is. It's actually kinda funny how it's the opposite of Genshin in that regard. When it comes to dressing/equipping different styles, Genshin is completely limited to its few skins... 🤷
Loved Genshin, played it when it first released, but after a month, I gave up. It became like my part time job with the amount of resources being asked to upgrade and the pulls were soooooo bad

@@MissBubbles I had issues with games like Palia and Warhammer Darktide during launch. Just hoping the same doesn't happen because it took months for the devs to sort out those errors. :(
Unreal engine is basically industry standard now so if their QA does not catch it then there’s definitely work in progress to fix it already. I’ve just started playing Palia and it’s running smooth. I would just say to make sure your graphics card is updated and not too old to run games like these!

Been playing Nikki games since 2018 so I am really excited for this game to come out. Been waiting on info since it was announced for the first time when we hardly had any info on it. And been used with gacha games since been playing genshin and hsr for like 1 year + .. am so happy the game is finally here in a few days ^^. No game is perfect imo, there will always be something that would be like a downside, so all that matters is for people to chose playing what they enjoy :) . Not all games will be to everyone's tastes and that is fine since there will always be something out there to everyone's tastes as long as they look for it ^^
I tried the game, but besides really bad lags it makes me soo so sick. Can't walk around a few seconds without getting heavy motion sickness. At least I made my best friend play so she can show me the cute outfits, but I can not watch her exploring the world.
Question- are the day lengths equal to real time or much shorter? Personally I'm just not a fan of real time games.

This game looks gorgeous on pc! 💖 I was lucky enough to test the ios beta version, but I got to say it doesn't look nearly as good on mobile (which is to be expected, but still a little let down when you have this beautiful version to compare it too 😅) ... my hopes are now up for the ps5 version of the game

What an upgrade to the Nikki Mobile game! They added so much and the open world actually works because the storyline is pretty similar and they kept Momo❤ and it’s always been an action adventure with outfit battles.
I love free to play games and I never minded the gacha aspect because they made it pretty easy to do daily’s in the mobile game when I played 4 years ago. Really loved it as a 2D game with some animation on the special outfits. I typically have enough discipline to not buy the easy way out 😛 so free to play never bothered me.
It looks great as a 3D game as well. I was skeptical at first but this preview is looking so much better than I expected! It also stayed true to the original concept of Nikki 😊

Wish I could identify what it is about certain games I don’t enjoy. It’s to do with the way the camera moves. Most jrpgs have this same kind of camera I don’t enjoy. I love legend of Zelda and Assassin Creed though, there is something different about their angles. What’s different about them and how do I identify it? This game looks too petty though I’ll have to try push through my camera issues.

I was also skeptical lol but is really easy! Maybe for hardcore gamers is may be too easy, but for a noob in pc games like me it was a piece of cake. The only problem I think is I sometimes get really lost between the big ui and the big open world xd I think it is a matter of practice + using the tracking tools they give you so you know what to do next in any given moment, plus a bit of common sense xdd like of there is something that is very high enough and you don't reach, maybe there is a ladder somewhere haha I know it sounds dumb, but I never played 3d games so for me is all new xd
I've played for 3 days now and reached lvl 18. I didn't know what to expect but it came recommended by a Palia streamer. This game is nothing like Palia. There is far too much platforming in this game for me. The graphics are stunning and it's heartbreaking they had to make all the dungeons stressful platforming nightmares. lol I don't consider platforming cozy at all. Cozy to me is decorating a house or your body but with no fighting and platforming. Alas I'm still on the hunt for the perfect game.
Suprised its working on medium on my pixel 6 . Some frame drops in the cutscenes but gameplay is decent enough. I will have to try it on pc or console.
Honestly i have pretty strong distaste towards game that make use of the genshin ui layout. Mmos used to have similar layouts on mobile, but after genshin, a lot of games have it now. And i absolutely hate it.

Im on the fence. It's so close to being a dressup focused zelda botw but then they chose to go the free to play route and not to make it as well polished and a story as well setup as botw. It's in this weird limbo between cash hungry app and full game worth paying 50 bucks for.

I’m excited about this game and will give it a chance! I LOVE the aesthetics and the dress up system. Good to know platforming is easy because I too struggle with it 😅 I don’t mind free to play games and spending some money on micro transactions as long as it’s not too much.
It's NOT easy. And the further you get into it the worse it gets.
If any POC are disappointed by the customization, just play Creatures of Ava! One purchase, not expensive, adorable and pretty, lots of gameplay

Okay so it’s much like Genshin impact. I do wish it was an offline and not a service type game 😢 I guess I’ll play it as I play genshin- every 4monthes for 20 min to see the pretty world

as pretty as it looks.. the world is way more realistic than it should be imo. looking at how nikki and the cat are stylized in a super cute way the world should’ve had a little bit too, i mean the way she keeps blending with the environment specially her head cuz the lighting and colors are so similar everywhere with super light shadows actually gives me a headache.
Also I didn’t watch any play throughs to not spoil the story as i plan on playing through it myself but for some reason im not expecting much?.. would love to be surprised
