Ever wonder why you lights, fireplace, battery candles, heater, or any other remote device comes on, goes off, changes brightness, changes color, temper, flame effect, etc., etc.,....? It because some RV near you is using a remote operated device. The last time it happened to me I returned to the coach to find the AC units fighting the fireplace. It was the neighbors cheap Amazon light strip. When using remote control devices cup your hand around the IR sensor and point up in the direction of the device. This helps to minimize affecting your neighbors.
    Cheers!

ever install the led strips so it's pointed to the bottom of the tarp to get the reflective light from it ? or is it brighter when LEDs are pointed down ?

How does the wire not twist out when you put the awning in and out?

I just bought a reel to do this very same thing and I keep asking myself that same question but my theory is if I run the wire threw the awning arm and leave enough slack between that plug in to the strip and the power outlet it'll spin the wire up if it does there's enough slack that it wouldn't pull anything out of place and vice versa in and out

I ran mine through the seam edge so wire rolls with the awning. You have to run a dummy wire on the opposite side seam also so it will roll evenly.

This was two years ago but I’d say one good way to prevent the spin out would be, put a plug in connection at the point and just unplug it when you roll up.

@@justinwalker5347 Thats probably what you need to do, but forget once and it's toast. Not something I'd be interested in, someone is bound to mess up.

I just bought a Coachmen Catalina Trailblazer toy hauler, it has this exact remote and lights, but no manual, I use the remote but nothing happens
