- A bit choppy at times due to it being a mono source, but hopefully this allows for you to get a better understanding of the music underneath the vocals.
Line up per the Brian Jones Resource:
Brian Jones - electric guitar
Keith Richards - 12 string acoustic guitar
Bill Wyman - bass guitar
Charlie Watts - drums
Back when I was a snot nosed little kid I heard a version of this song and that guitar instrumental break when straight deep into my brain and is still there. Now to think it was maybe Brian and not Keith makes it so much sweeter, but it makes his death so much worse. Thanks for your work, makes me glad I woke up this morning.
Charlie knew how to make those symbols count. Jones did a good job on the lead. It fit the song perfect.
I've considered this particular choice the best in my estimation......just more beautiful without vocals. I agree that we get ever so much more hearing the music played underneath the vocals. Thank you for your effort to bring this out.
Thank you for the kind words, I’ll do my best to bring more quality instrumentals from this era of the band.
@@Famulus9No one could ask more of you.
A bit choppy but it’s nice to hear Brian playing standard lead guitar instead of his usual slide solos.
A nother hidden gem of the gospel according to the stones
So Wonderful.
Raw r&b Jones stones - my fave
LOVE this track. Wonder if the solo is also Brian's...
I’ll leave that to the experts, but I believe it might be one of his rare solos.
@@Famulus9 They recorded this on a two track revox. Not much room for overdubbing. If anything they used that second track to overdub vocals. It sounds like Brian’s guitar. It’s just an arpeggio barre chord solo. Simple but perfect for the song.
@@ovalvox7888 Yes you’re right, Bill said it was two track mono for the debut album so it must be Brian playing the solo.
@@Famulus9 😂👌😍🙏🙏☺️
@@ovalvox7888 😍😍😍😊🙌🙌🙌
Amazing how simple and basic this track is.
poor quality
First Jagger/Richard..... Then without "s".
