The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil... REVERSED
A lighthearted edit of this classic inspired by the "Satanic Panic" of the 1980s, where songs such as Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and ACDC's "Highway to Hell" were accused of "backmasking" by Christian groups, or hiding subliminal messages in their songs only heard when played backwards.

Recorded November 20th or 21st at Regent Sound Studios, London. Produced by Andrew Oldham and engineered by Bill Farley, this MJ/KR demo is also known as "That Girl Belongs To Yesterday." Gene Pitney would later record it in early 1964 under the more common title "That Girl Belongs To Yesterday."

The Rolling Stones - Midnight Rambler (Instrumental)

Hello all, in honor of it being almost the 54th anniversary of the release of Let It Bleed, I've created an instrumental of one of the many classic songs on the album, Midnight Rambler. Despite it becoming a live staple, the studio version is just as amazing, at least in my opinion. After some time in Audition, I think it has come out well. Personnel: Background vocals, harmonica - Mick Jagger ...

Keith’s backing vocals occasionally slip through, but overall I like the quality of this stereo instrumental. Isolated lineup per the Brian Jones Resource: Line up: Brian Jones - guitar (chordal picking) Keith Richards - guitar (chordal strumming) & vocals Ian Stewart - organ Bill Wyman - bass guitar Charlie Watts - drums

This is a change from my usual Rolling Stones videos, but I've always liked this largely unknown band and thought I'd share a rare live performance of one of their most famous songs, a gospel original adapted by the legendary Al Kooper. I've gently tried to remaster this by slightly adjusting the EQ, significantly reducing the hiss, and narrowing the stereo field. The soundboard mix is weird bu...

The Rolling Stones - Mona Live at the Kurhaus, 1964

From the infamous Kurhaus concert which ended in a riot. Mick lost his microphone earlier in the show, so he isn't singing here. The song ends early as the show had descended into a riot and the audience (as the picture indicates) had taken over the stage. A great audience recording for the era courtesy of Willem van Kooten from the side of the stage. Kurhaus, Scheveningen, Holland August 8th, ...

Recorded at Olympic Studios on 10th May 1963. Line up: Brian Jones - harmonica Mick Jagger - vocals Keith Richards - guitar Bill Wyman - bass guitar Charlie Watts - drums (The Brian Jones Resource) As AI software often has difficulty categorizing harmonica playing as music or vocals, I left a trace amount of vocals in the mix to better balance Brian's harmonica playing.
The Rolling Stones - Tell Me Instrumental

A bit choppy at times due to it being a mono source, but hopefully this allows for you to get a better understanding of the music underneath the vocals. Line up per the Brian Jones Resource: Brian Jones - electric guitar Keith Richards - 12 string acoustic guitar Bill Wyman - bass guitar Charlie Watts - drums
The Rolling Stones - Cops and Robbers Instrumental

Using the rich On Air version, I was able to craft what I think is a decent instrumental of this rare song in the Stones canon which features some of my favorite harmonica playing of Brian Jones. I left a bit of the vocals in so the harmonica was a bit more stable, as AI has trouble differentiating whether a harmonica is music or vocals.

From the infamous Kurhaus concert which ended in a riot. Mick lost his microphone earlier in the show, so he instead plays the harmonica here, creating an interesting if plodding instrumental version of Hi Heel Sneakers. A great audience recording for the era courtesy of Willem van Kooten from the side of the stage. Kurhaus, Scheveningen, Holland August 8th, 1964

Hello everyone, The Brian Jones Resource recently showcased my video of the Olympia performance of Ruby Tuesday on his page, so I thought I'd make this video to show all other available live performances of Ruby Tuesday from 1967. Included here are 4 audience recordings and the famous Paris soundboard recording, with the Vienna recording being the best of the audience recordings. I decided agai...
The Rolling Stones - Live Songs from the Brian Jones Era (1964-1967)

For Rolling Stones fans, there is a nearly endless amount of live audio, officially released or not, from the band's Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood eras. Unfortunately, the Brian Jones era is quite lacking, but over the years more audio has been found, some very good yet lot relatively poor. Here is 30 minutes of selected songs from 1964-1967, all of which have not been officially released (yet.) ...

Culling through my Stones BBC radio archives (bootlegs) I've found three short interviews with Mick from two different programs. As is to be expected, Mick is present for all of the available BBC Radio interviews, including two with Brian Jones. Interview 1: March 1st for Top Gear Interviews 2 and 3: August 20th for Saturday Club

Golden age of music
George Harrison looks like bill Wyman from the rolling STONES
so beautiful
my favourite song ever
I was there with my brother , Paul Bateman Brian and it was oh so good
This version is not quite enough! All you have to do is compairing it with the one where Mick sings.... So much better!!! When I was thirteen, I heard it over and over and over.... Still, there was a friend of mine who played it on acoustic guitar and all the others would sing along, thousands of times!!!
Sounds brilliant 🎉❤❤
Whose guitar is it that comes in sometimes after the chorus? Like at 1:04. So catchy. You don’t hear it in the studio version.
The radio DJ was the legendary STAN ROFE on radio 3UZ Melbourne.. A truly great man who did so much for Aussie artists in the 1960's He was much loved by all. I went to his funeral in the 1990's .
Piano in there i never noticed before
He had a great talent for adding so much to a song with very little, regardless of the instrument he played. His unique approach and gifted musical ear often made the song. Between the Buttons was the last great record he played on IMO
I'm sure that the Stones were louder than this.
Super recording! OMG Thank you! ❤
Crosby being the billboard for STP!
So glad they keep going..
No túnel do tempo! Estou viajando! Thank you boys!
NO VIDEO 😡
One, two! I was born in a crossfire hurricane And I howled at the morning drivin' rain But it's all right now, in fact it's a gas But it's all right, I'm jumpin' jack flash It's a gas, gas, gas I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag I was schooled with a strap right across my back But it's all right now, in fact it's a gas But it's all right, I'm jumpin' jack flash It's a gas, gas, gas (oh) I was drowned, I was washed up and left for dead I fell down to my feet and I saw they bled Yeah, yeah I frowned at the crumbs of a crust of bread Yeah, yeah, yeah I was crowned with a spike right through my head My, my, yeah But it's all right now, in fact it's a gas But it's all right, I'm jumpin' jack flash It's a gas, gas, gas Jumpin' jack flash, it's a gas Jumpin' jack flash, it's a gas Jumpin' jack flash, it's a gas Jumpin' jack flash, it's a gas Jumpin' jack flash, it's a gas

Super Band Just Great A1 ++++++++
Mick jagger and Keith richards have a lot to thank brian jones for.
this is horrible
The first rolling stone! To me!
I think his musicianship was rather over-rated
Das IST fantastidh 😂😂😂
Brian Jones 🙏❤️ Forever ❤️
IAM ROLLING STONES MUSIC MAN.❤
His playing on Monkey Man was perfect
not isolated enough the drumming is bloody annoying And other instruments distract from the subject
Brian Jones was a multi-instrumentalist❤
Charlie's looking good tonight!
Look at that British Hunk of man, Keith richards!! Love, love, love 💘!!
Hardly isolated, you can barely hear it over the harpsichord.
1964 n I’m 76 n still I love the Brian Jones Stones what a fantastic life n they still Rocking! 😍😄🤩🥳🥵😎🤩🥳
Great job with this! Brian Jones never got the credit he deserved.
C'est bien aussi, instrumentals 🥰
Soirée rolling stones, le groupe Anglais le plus populaire au Monde, les textes et Mélodies, riffs , slide guitare ,de BRIAN ✨
Love his Gibson firebird my favorite of all RIP Brian thanks for the beautiful music
Greatest song ever! First time hearing it was at Tour Of Duty. Not about it, but still immediately thinking about US soldiers in Vietnam
I only believe in Bill Wyman when it comes to who played what in the classic Stones lineup (1962-1969) Keith is full of shite when it comes to remember Sixties stuff.
Brian must have been so glad when Mick and Keith wrote a real blues song for the band to play, Brian jumped right in playing that great original blues harmonica part... What? ... oh wait that wasn't' Brian? Oh that was Mick... every note of it. All that genius harmonica playing was Jagger... Well for sure Brian must have played the slide guitar then... Oh shoot.. the slide guitar was all Keith? Well Brian must have played one of the other rhythm guitars then ...right? Oh damn Keith dubbed all the guitar tracks himself... All four or five guitar tracks were Keith? that a lot of guitar for one guy...Maybe Brian sang some back up then? No not a single lyric was Brian. Perhaps Brian produced it then... great blues production... Ahhh not quite... production was all Jimmy Miller. Then what essential part did the bluesman Jones play in this one of the bands greatest blues songs ever? Conga...Brian played blues conga... really Blues conga? That can't be right...is it? Yeah, that's it, Brian played blues conga... Wow. How sad.
Syncopation
Brian’s guitar is hardly audible. He must have forgotten to raise the volume on his amp. Lol
brian was so tallented un bleivel rest in peace he could play any instremnt
they either sped up the sitar track to E or used a small child's size sitar that could tune that high. You can't tune a sitar up to E without breaking strings
What a joy to hear this.
Cant thank you enough. You have coloured in grey memories from my youth. Your inclusion of Sunday Night at the London Palladium performance is priceless. You are the Richard Attenborough of Rolling Stones unearthed performances. Anything with Brian is to be cherished. Gone too young, too soon. The Stones roll on, each chapter different to the last one. Please keep up the good work. WE NEED YOU.
"Renaissance fair" ...the perfect song from Monterey....
Thank you. Totally enjoyed these chords.
