Your touches to each one are lovely! The die cut flowers touched with three distress colors, along with the fabric and brass, the sewing onto the unique backgrounds, and placed to the right side, leads my eyes to the green trim. Wow! All the elements and dimensions are in their fabulous areas. Thx Nina :)

I do absolutely love the backgrounds you made recently. The flower arrangement and your choice of butterfly was perfect. You inspired me to make some die cuts from a couple of the wildflower dies from Timmy. Thanks, now I have something to do this fine Sunday morning. BTW, I made a leprechaun trap for Petra and Tanis and since we are humane and compassionate trappers of the ornery critters, there is a bed with a wool blanket and a table. Gold coins from paper, sisal around the bottom, and images stamped on Mylar to cover the window space, so he can’t get out and can enjoy the view, until he figures a way out and causing more mischief. So much fun being a gramma, just like I enjoyed being a mom during these magical years. Off for some journal play. Thanks, Nina.
WOW ! Great 💚💗🖤! The burlap goes great with your grunge funds I think, and sewing is too good! I’ve never had a sewing machine, but what else would I like to be able to do about my creations, it adds " un je ne sais quoi" ("a I don’t know what") that I love and it ends well a creation in my opinion. I remember these butterfly embellishments that I thought were great in the old days, especially the way they made their antennas with metallic threads, I didn’t know this stuff, it makes it great. Two are so beautiful! how to choose ?!! I love them both, really 💖💖💖👍👏

Sorry to hear of your troubles with the missing backgrounds! It is so frustrating to "lose" something that truly can't have gone far. Thanks for sharing this!
Absolutely gorgeous! I don’t make journals, but these would make incredible cards. I just made some cards, slightly similar with the script background with splatters and a bit grunge c. Then cut flowers and leaves as you did and colored them with my oxides. Wish I had though of splatters on the flower. The backgrounds are stunning(watched that video too. Just wish I had the courage to try it! ❤️🦋
Hi Sue, I hope you will pluck up the courage to try this as it’s such an effective technique and you really can’t go wrong with it as the grungier the better 💕
