- I'm Raxxanterax and I make Build Guides, Leveling Guides, Tier Lists and More for Diablo 4, Last Epoch, Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2. After speed running Diablo 4 for most of Season 4 I've learned that there really is no limit to the power of tempering gear early on. I made a set of low level gear with the right tempers to start off at level 1 and went straight to take on The Curator.

For those asking how I got the gear: right before this run I made a new sorcerer, went to helltide; and picked up the first yellows I found. I went to town and tempered them and threw some powers on, put it in my stash, then deleted that sorcerer and started over at level 1. This is the only way to get this gear to try this run, otherwise I would have to go to helltide for a bit and not be level 1

I feel like level 25-30 is pretty common for this season

You're the problem. Doing the capstone with a necro at level 30 is easy not admirable.
@duncanidaho5834 any class can do it at 30. I did it at 20 on my barb using frenzy.

Rax clearing level 50 capstone with lvl 1 character faster than my lvl 35 barbarian :X
Yeah, but there is scaling to player level. Level 50 mobs are not really 50 here.
Damn your build must suck then, I completed lvl50 on lvl30 barb In less than 5mins
@@KarmaKahn yes they are lv50, the only difference is that monsters at lv50 on WT1 and WT2 have a worst AI compared to WT3 and WT4.
But he is only doing damage because of the legendary elemental surge tempering on his gear. Without that this would be impossible.
Elemental Surge temper makes any low lv character a GOD on early levels.
@@Immanence It has to be some scaling shenanigans as well (in WT1 and WT2). He is taking less dmg on that level 1 char than my level 35-40 chars. Most of them overgeared to the teeth as well before going in.
@@KarmaKahn he is using barrier, because he is a sorc + a lot of HP from the tempers, this also benefits low levels a lot compared to higher level characters.

Fantastic video. I watched your video on the step by step player power idea. I made a rogue and totally crushed it. Did use the temper with the lucky hit chance for elemental damage piece on everything I could and it was easy mode. Thank you for you insights!

It is not, tho. This show how gear can affect the early stages of progression

I did the same. Not on hardcore, but after i saw the big damage temper you can roll on weapon i was so down to do it like raxx did and it worked so much better than i would expect it. Got now my 8th char nearly to wolf rep max for the spark.
is it really faster than spamming a few Duriels? I got all the sparks I needed in 2/3 hrs of rotas

Easiest way to get uber uniques
@@CrystalStearOfTheCaswell I did 18 tormented duriel runs and got no Uber so probably is quicker
@@wc2195 No, you get uber uniques and you can dismantle them to get sparks. I thought it was way faster than leveling up an alt but apparently that's not the case. I got shako + starless skies (so 6 sparks + the 2 you already have on 1 char) in 3 hours of rotas
CRAZY that this can be done.
nice experiment :) Worth to note that this would not be possible in fresh season start, because of the pre-farmed items that raxx puts on character - ie. not doable in blues or yellows

Only if your leveling run allows for pre-crafted gear, which his speedruns so far did not (for good reason, I think).
@@nilsp9426 leveling strat and speed run strat are technically two different things
I don't think so because there is a cap to how much exp you get from killing mobs over your level. If you're geared out like this it would be better to do the mindcage for helltides.
So basically a level 13 enemy at level 1 gives the same exp as a level 55, so go kill the 13s instead.
@@--Nabe-rius-- getting to world tier 3 at lvl 1 is huge tho, because u get a large exp boost just from being in WT3
@@Pokdemon still not worth because you cant kill fast and efficient + the exp you get is capped, so it wont matter if you can kill even lvl100 mobs, the exp will be the same.

I've been talking about this since day 1 of this season... I've been talking about iron wolf farming too... Me personally I use minions with thorns on level 0 gear, carries me to razor plates.. needle flare ofc...

I did something similar on my rogue heartseeker’s high lucky hit chance + elemsurge carried me through everything.
I did the same thing

If you put a couple max life tempers on your armor you effectivley become invincible as well. This is how i leveled my alt druid last week
So for 1-100 is this potentially a more optimal start? You could probably do a nightmare dungeon also

rax some good news the incinarte build icyveins has up as endgame is pretty good. even on lowish 60+s it is very decent - maxroll should really put this up even with crap gear ond shit stuff if you have flamethrower ascpet is almost all you need others just help - but spinning in a cricle and almost loosing no mana is insane and damage is good too.
could not believe but i switched from arc lash to that one and it beats the arc lash lvling/endgame build guid on maxroll by at least 1 tier if not 2 - i am pretty sure you could say it´s s tier

This is by far the most impressive diablo 4 achievment.
It would be more impressive to do it without precollected/-prepared gear and a maximum of 4 health pots

@@antonriddoch8 exactly - it was PREcollected, before doing the dungeon. Check the video, after entering the dungeon he equips gear with the right powers for his build. Point is... its actually not really an achievement (as others have pointed out) with such a setup.
I was leveling my bard softcore, did capstone for wt3 at like 25 which got me to like ~36. I then immediately went into the capstone for wt4 and completed it, finished at like ~42 or so. Pretty hilarious how overpowered you can be this season. Literally no point to spend any time in WT2/WT3.
how do you acquire the legendary lvl 1 gear, just roll gear for obols at lvl 1?
Raxx my dude you coulda one shot the whole dungeon with blood boiling aspect. for some reason on frozen orb it spawns like 20 blood drops and they each do like 15k when you pick them up...i was dashing into bosses all the way up to nightmare dungeons 50 to one shot them
