- I decided to try and find EVERY character's doppelganger in Genshin Impact.
I spent about 6-7 hours researching to find characters from other video games and anime that looks the closest to each of those from Genshin. Some were pretty spot-on, though others were not all the great...
I do invite all of you to comment the names of characters which better resemble those from Genshin, as I'm sure some of you know of characters that I do not, nor could easily find online.

Not far Usui is a bit more playful and a playertype but he is incredibly loyal and charming... Thoma fits him if we remove the flirtyness and mischievousness of Usui

Usui is extremely loyal and honestly man is the perfect Househusband in my opinion. He is clever, extremely Charming, good at cooking and Thoma also fits some of the features Usui has

When I started genshin I called certain characters "Genshin's (anime character they look like to me)". Xingqui looked like Ciel Phantomhive to me.
Xiao had little but enough Sasuke vibes.
Lisa is every witch lewd ever.
Lumine and Aether together def had Rin and Len vibes, saw it too.
Lisa is also similar with every mothers that dies :’) she has after all the hairstyle of death XD or else I agree with all of it here.

Most of these look so similar!! I’d also like to add on that Hu Tao looks a lot like Hanako (from Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) though Hanako is a boy.
Hanako-Kun was inspired by a Japanese myth/urban legend, right? So even though Hu Tao is Chinese, her design may have been inspired by the same myth as well. I also thought that they looked similar ^^

Venti is definitely based on Wendi from Honkai Impact. Heck, the letter 'W' is pronounced 'V' in German so Venti's name would still sound almost like Wendi. Also you're forgetting Dains, the most obvious doppelganger of Dmitri from Fire Emblem ever made. They had to cut a hole in his eyepatch to make it less obvious yet it still is XDDDDD
Venti also means "Winds" in italian.
Also, Wendy's design in Guns Girl Z/ Houkai Gakuen 2 (also owned by mihoyo) is basically Venti's archon outfit lol

The only character similar to a genshin character is for a character that isn't even playable yet. Dainsleif and Dimitri (timeskip) from FE three house look extremely similar.
And Jin from Blazblue just 'cause of their similarity hairs
When I saw Dainsleif I inmediatly thought about Dimitri.
Ahem... Unknown God and Kiana's Herrscher battlesuits with a little HoS thrown in the mix for that ancient vibe.
There is also Hanyuu from Higurashi who looks like Ganyu if you want a very similar character!

You would have found a similarity in Aether much easier if you had watched Magi: Labyrinth of Magic. Aether is pretty much a fusion between Alibaba the deuteragonist of the story and the protagonist's rival Judar.
Alibaba has both the Hair and eye color, while Judar has the hairstyle and well, the overall design is strikingly similar.

I feel that Bennet would be most like Asta from Black Clover in appearance and both having bad luck.
When I first saw Zhongli my immediate reaction was "Oh god, is that the chinese version of Jumin Han from Mystic Messenger???". Even their personalities match so well, the only difference is that Jumin is filthy rich while Zhongli... Well... He's Zhongli

as for Ganyu, I believe she was inspired by Hanyuu from “higurashi”/“when they cry”. Apart from that the video was pretty well done

Small correction: at 10:49, that's Inuyasha from Inuyasha. He also fits better because he is half dog demon.
Another doppelganger of Ayaka is Weiss Schnee. They share hair, clothes style, element and even princess status.
I didn't even think of that, but yeah that is pretty close.

Tbh Hu Tao and Megumin are so similar and not just because of them having the same japanese VA
You did such a good job, but Xinyan’s section where you pointed out how sparce darkskinned characters in anime are made me really sad. Especially since pople in east asia can have tanner skin but the beauty standard is super pale skin so most characters are designed that way. I really hope genshin impact starts designing characters with tan skin who are east asian or caucasian and make characters who are african or middle-eastern. I think it would cambatt the unfair beauty standard and add more diversity to the game.
I'd love to see more diversity among the roster, as well as in anime/eastern-video games in general. Some people like to play characters that they can relate to, and adding more skin tones is a good way to work towards making sure everyone feels there's a character for them
Seeing that sumeru is gonna be based on Egypt hopefully more dark skinned character is comming
Since sumeru is the next area and its based off ancient egypt and the middle east , we'll probably get a lot more tanned/ dark-skinned characters + Natlan seems to be based off of south America so we might bet even more in a few years
Fishl always reminded me of Ophelia from fire emblem fates. Though they don't have matching eyepatches or clothes, they do have a very similar build and hair color/style. Also, peronality wise they share a lot of similarities!

I came for Ayaka because the one I saw most in her was the Volume 1 design of Weiss Schnee from RWBY. Both are practically royalty, both are in fact right in the same height range, and both use a sword. As well as the fact both are known for using ice-based powers, otherwise, great video, I'm glad I found this.
I think this idea is super interesting! Good job on the match ups, I think you really nailed some of them and found so many creative ways to find similarities between the characters.
My match ups are all solely based on hairstyle alone, but I thought I'd share them anyway:
1. Barbara - Mami Tomoe from Madoka Magica/Elizabeth from Black Butler/Ravel Phoenix from High School DxD (basically blonde hair drills)
2. Bennett - Navigator (aka you, the player) from Alchemy Stars (the hairstyles gave me the same vibes)
3. Diona - Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew/Amu from Shugo Chara/Okayu from Hololive (Vtuber)/Nyanners from Vshoujo (Vtuber) (pink hair and cat ears)
4. Hutao - Azusa from K-On/Black Rock Shooter/Nico Yazawa from Love Live (black hair and twin tails, Nico has red eyes too)
5. Kokomi - Chika from Love is War (it's the bangs and hair colour for me lol)
6. Sucrose - Kaede Kayano from Assasination Classroom (hair length)/Asada Shino from Sword Art Online (hair colour)
7. Xiangling - Ai Ohto from Wonder egg priority (only for the hair length; minus Xiangling's braids. I still think your pick was better lol)
7. Yanfei - there is a light novel called 日高魔異奴も and the main female lead has a similar hair and eye colour scheme. This is info I gathered with the help of google translate, so I might be wrong
8. Yoimiya - Miyamoto Musasho from FGO (because the way their hair sticks out after being tied up is really similar)

I have something for xiao, since it looked like you were having issues on his doppelganger, a hiiro no kakera character named Mahiro Atori (Design wise not personality) Who, when in a certain form looks so similar to xiao its ... scary knowing it was the first anime I watched and he was my first favorite character, then xiao came along and now I have two favorite characters which look the same. also hes part of a guardian group of 5 magical beings that just kinda maybe maybe not fight evil.
Edit #2 : Mahiro is 5"2, xiao is 5"3.5 (Similarities, oh god)
Edit #3: His birthday is August 17, and xiaos is april 17, both A letter months, both the 17th. He also has wings and has dominion over the wind.
Aye! There’s a lot of this going around sort of. The new character Itto looks like Rengoku from Demon Slayer. Doesn’t have the same hair color but has the same facial features and same personality maybe?
Something about Aya Shameimaru. In her franchise she's considered to be the fastest in gensokyo. Faster that than a vampire Remilia Scarlet who can circle the moon and back. One of the only other person to match her is Youmu Konpaku, a half phantom half human when she move on the ground which gave Aya a trouble looking at her as she's so fast Aya can only see blurriness of her shiloutte.

For Xiao, I think that Lie Ren from RWBY would fit. Both have dark hair with a streak of a different color (Ren has a pink one), both have traditionnal Chinese style attire and their color scheme is green/white

For me, Yoimiya really looks like Ai Miyashita From Love Live Nijigasaki
And Jean looks like Eli from Love Live
for Razor you could pick ban from seven deadly sins when he had long hair
I think for Eula you can choose Laura S Arseid from the cold steel games. Similarities of these 2 are use big swords, blue hair, both nobles
I feel like a really good doppelanger for Xingqiu would be Ciel from Black Butlter.
For Chongyun, look up Khun Ran from Tower of God.
When I first saw Chongyun on Hu Tao's first banner, I thought that was who he looked like.
On that topic, both Chongyun and Eula look like they could be from the Khun family. The family head certainly gets around.

I did not expect most of these but i never put that much thought into it, the dedication you had to this man. So many of them seem really fitting, it does show how sometimes characters can just give the same vibe even without looking too much alike, definitely some interesting details to look for among things. Though I'm honestly surprised no league of legends champs slipped in like Ezreal for Bennett, especially with their personalities. Haha he's a more annoying false grandeur adventurer.
If Dainsleif is a playable character and are trying to find a person similar to him, then look no further than Dimitri from Fire emblem: Three houses. They are very alike

Kazuha and Fu Hua my favorite characters. QwQ Kaeya looks like Major Gilbert from Violet Evergarden but when Major Gilbert lost his eye and had to wear a black eyepatch, he has shorter blue hair too...The fact that Irisviel and Ninguang have the same JP VA makes it all the more amazing.

3:40 I personally think that Franziska Von Karma from Ace Attorney could’ve been another close match for Eula. They have similar if not the same hair colour and style, similar clothing style and just give off the same vibes.
