Justin Hall Kyle's stupidity in the 4th was a part of it. But Brady still had to drive and score many times when ATL damn well knew he had to throw it every play. On that night I don't know of any QB that could've replicated that.
The game wasn't nearly as competitive back then. Also half the teams weren't even in the same league as the Browns. There wasn't a salary cap either so one team could pay the best players in the league to all come to one team. There is good reason not to care for those championships.
***** I don't think so. The game has evolved so much from then to now because the league was brand new. Something called diminishing returns is going to take place, meaning 100 years will produce much less improvements since the game is at a much higher level and you can only improve something so much until it is optimal.
i said before the super bowl as a niner fan "if tom brady wins one more ring i will gladly call him the goat over montana" well tom well played you sir are indeed the greates
“I’ve never seen anything like this. What I saw last night may be the greatest performance I have ever seen” - even watching this now still gives me chills, we are so lucky we got to see the greatest comeback in the history of American sports.
I cried when the Patriots beat the Falcons. After everyone had left my friends house party cause they all thought it was over. And then having four of us left in the house and watching Brady claw his way back, was the most memorable thing I have ever watched in professional football.
coming from a die hard dolphins fan, I hate that I love that s.o.b., and admit that we are lucky enough to be witnessing history every time he takes a snap
There's nothing better than seeing a New York sports fan or someone with Aaron Rodgers in their profile pic saying Tom Brady isn't the greatest football player of all-time, cause you know they don't even believe the excuses they make up anymore. Scary part is....Brady's not done yet.
Cam 18 "But Arod is more talented" "Brady isn't dominant compared to manning" "he cheated" LOL all I see are a bunch of lame excuses, Brady's the GOAT, 💍💍💍💍💍 is something no one will top
eToro BoT Exactly, talent and skill are 2 different things. You can make the case that Moss was more talented than Rice. But Rice was far more skilled.
Joe Montana won 4 Super Bowls! Brady: "Hold my beer" Rodgers keeps throwing game winning Hail Marys! Brady: "Hold my beer" Kurt Warner has the most yards in the SB ever! Brady: "Hold my beer" Brady has the biggest Super Bowl comeback in history down 10 points! Brady: "Watch my keg"
Luis Quezada exactly. All these idiots don't seem to realise how time and human evolution works. Of course there is going to be someone better than Brady. And then someone is going to be better than Brady's successor.
tom brady is an example of shutting down criticism. criticism causes greatness. in Life we face people, relatives, who critisize you about not achieving this ir that, but you know what when i have face critics, i become more motivated to pro ve that there wrong and that i can acheive more than those critisizing me.
XpertMikey they were all false shithead, I’ve been to 4 pats games, I live in Massachusetts not a bandwagon, you’re just an idiot, he was accused of cheating but he never actually cheated, deflategate is bs, ideal gas law, Spygate was bs, Brady never cheated, he was accused of cheating with no evidence of actually doing so
XpertMikey no he didn’t omg you’re so stupid ahahaha, have you never heard of the ideal gas law? He never deflated footballs dumbass, because it was cold the footballs psi was lower then it was inside a warm locker room, god you’re so stupid know what you’re talking about before you start talking about it
@@meherzan1616 eldeman is nothing without Brady, Brady made his offense good not the other way around, people don’t bring up the defense because the defense doesn’t always show up, the defense is the reason Brady isn’t 10 for 10 right now. Brady has showed up every single Super Bowl, had the defense?
@@meherzan1616 Brady was just a couple of plays away from winning a Super Bowl with the 31st ranked defense in 2011. Also Aaron Rodgers lost 2 NFC Title games while his defense picked off Russel Wilson 4 times and picked off Brady 3 times. Brady's clutchness is what separates him from the pack.
Joseph Vincent I am watching this again on 1-19-19 and it still hits me as hard when it happened. I'll watch this in 2050 and still have the same reaction. Brady = GOAT
As it stands currently, there are 73 deluded, pathetic, and petty motherfuckers w/ blind hatred for this man that thumbs-downed this video stupidly. What a production of superb editing. I won't lie - I teared up in admiration and respect for this man, as I sat here in awe and took a trip down memory lane of what all he has accomplished. Thank you for this masterpiece.
6:15 When his team is 25 points ahead but he knew IT IS TOM BRADY 👌👌👌 Those words still gives me chills.... like no matter what they do they are facing TOM BRADY
Watching this April 18, 2017 -- still can't believe this shit. Everytime I watch it I fight back tears it's just so beautiful I can't explain it in words you just have to feel it. I'm still shaking my head, GREATNESS. Joseph you have a gift. You are the best production dude whatever you wanna call it EVER. Fuuuckkkkkk.
I think this year is different due to him breaking Joe Montana's record for SB wins. It made people stop and think more analytically about what he's accomplished. The biggest thing that resonates with me is his work ethic. How he approaches his job makes him a true role model. Maybe this will qualify my opinion of him more or maybe not: I'm not a Patriots fan. I'm born and raised a Packer fan. However, it doesn't matter what football team you're a fan of; hard work and dedication of this caliber are only something to aspire to.
As a Patriots fan, Its ridiculous to even be able to say the words. "Tom Brady passed Joe Montana, and he did by making making probably greatest comeback in the history of sports, in the biggest stage, at age 39, oh, and hes better than ever. Oh, and people are debating if he's greater than Michael Jordan."
Announcer in 2004- “2 superbowls in 3 years, thats as close to a dynasty as your gonna have in this era of free agency and player movement” Theyve now made 9 superbowls in 18 years. Greatest sports dynasty ever
Marc Cohen id say the only dynasty that can match it is the Red Wings from the 90s to the mid 2010s. 25 straight years qualifying for the postseason, 4 Stanley Cups, 6 Presidents trophies, 16 division championships, and multiple hall of famers produced.
"I'm the best decision this organization has ever made" imagine saying that as a 6th round rookie qb to Robert Kraft and going on to be the greatest of all time. Wow.
Your production skills are amazing man, the way you capture stuff in these videos, the flashbacks, cut scenes, commentary, all of it man, its honestly a gift from you to us that you are on here, a free community, giving us these masterpieces. Im not even a big Brady fan, respect the guy like no other tho, but when i say i constantly keep rewinding n rewinding cause of how you can feel the emotion n actions in this 21:49 min video, man, I just wanna say thanks. NFL/NBA/ESPN could use a guy like you.
Joseph Vincent I'm 53 years old and I got to tell you that this is the single best sport video I have ever seen and in this case ever experienced. I'm not even a Patriot supporter. The last time that I can remember feeling this way was when I went to see Rocky in 1976 when I was thirteen years old.
Brah Sumatra actually buddy Belichick was the losing coach until Brady came along but I will give credit where it's due. the powerful combination of the two is apparently just overwhelming. the key to their success it seems must be the obviously extraordinary powerful affect of confidence building partnership and team-mate reliability sharpened by probably the smartest and most intense Focus ever seen for a coach and a player. players that go to New England I believe are inspired by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick s Drive confidence preparation expectations and desire to do only one thing win in the football game. Bellatrix true genius is and being able to spot recruit Talent is largely unnoticed but hungry. I believe one of these last round draft picks and traded free agents that most teams cast off come to play for the Patriots and are inspired to become more than themselves. they believe. you saw the power of this in evidence and in full View this season after the way it transformed the Dallas Cowboys team when Dak Prescott took over the role as quarterback in the place of Tony Romo who by All rights is a damn good quarterback. but that something that you can't touch and can't describe was the elixir the Cowboys needed to finally give Jerry Jones something to brag about. a truly great leader inspires those he is directing anyway that brings full dedication the commitment from everyone involved. that is the element you cannot measure in the combine in any way shape or form. I'm like the guy above who commented and mused about how close Tom Brady came to never even being drafted. what makes me so emotional and excited and thrilled to watch Tom Brady success is how much fearlessness he had to have conjured in the face of every doubter in the external a more ruthlessly in the internal that he has always overcome all with the humility of a saint. the opportunity we have had to witness the way he has come from the meek and inherited the Earth should inspire every single living human being has ever had to preform and overcome in any area of life. never an excuse muttered and then silent humility and Grace even when he is accused and then Vindicated is a true spectacle to watch. those that criticize Excellence on this level obviously have an enormously inflated sense of self on the exterior that Tom Brady unknowingly exposes if you hate him you must truly be an a****** because the he is the success story of every great Underdog Ever Told and we get to watch it happen before our eyes.
I like the transitions from real time to Tom's past, almost like flash backs, it added to Tom Brady's legendary performance in Super Bowl LI. I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the past, and it brought back some of my greatest memories growing up, thank you Joseph Vincent.
Id personally like to thank every team that passed on this man over and over again in the draft... Its YOU who fueled this guy to the greatest career we'll ever see in the NFL And here's to Brady...for never stopping And for twisting that kinfe so deep as his revenge
I am not a Patriots fan but I am continually astonished to see just how consistently good the Patriots and Brady are. After Bill and Tom retire, the Patriots will erect statues of them, and never again fort many years will we see anything like them again.
Every time I watch this, the 2 point play to tie the game just gives me goosebumps. “I think number 12’s hero came down to the huddle in Miami and said, Is that a John Candy there in the stands? Listen to the Brady chant.” As the entire stadium chants “Brady! Brady!”
At this point it's kind of hard to even find words to describe what Tom Brady has done for the game of football. A sixth round pick turned into a 5 time super bowl champion, its unheard of, it's literally the plot of a fictional movie. Tom Brady is the greatest player to ever touch a football field and the scariest part of it all is that he isn't even close to finished, what exactly is in his head saying "you need to do more" , whatever that natural drive is, is what separates him from anyone.
Tyler Durden It's being said Patriots might offer him a 3-5 year contract.Brady said if he knows he is able to play he will keep playing until he sucks
i 100% cried. Im so happy to be alive witnessing something we'll never see ever again. Brady goat. Belichick best ever. These are now, undeniable facts
Now 6. I didn't start out a Brady fan but I have watched pro-football 60 years and this guy IS the greatest player I have ever seen. Brady is really is the GOAT.
Lol!!! Im a Pats fan, and until that night I would argue with my friends all the time that Rodgers was the best i've ever seen after Marino.... I done shut my mouth now.
FM L No one is better than brady. What he just did without gronk, with no running game, and average receivers, was amazing. Perfect throws under the pressure of the superbowl can't be denied. Check out belichicks record before brady. Tom Brady was 20 and 5 in college. His nickname was captain comeback because he always brought them back late in games. Anywhere Brady plays this is the outcome. Like Jordan, when the games on the line, Brady is who you want and it's not close!
He's the greatest QB of all-time. I don't even think there's a debate about that. Not only that, but right now, he's better than Rodgers. Maybe not from a pure skills perspective, but in terms of the "It" factor, the composure, the intangibles, the drive to win, I don't think we'll ever see anything like it in NFL history.
@@noahparker50 can you support that argument in any manner? What makes any of those quarterbacks better, and how on Earth do you set up that sort of super bowl comeback?
@@harryepstein7499 Oh simple, by making the 2 same players commit fouls every single time by the defense, just in case the Pats don't gain enough yardage. The refs would throw the flags and call the penalty AFTER the play. Where as refs usually throw the flags the moment they see a penalty. Matt Ryan throwing an unnecessary out of bounds throw, even though he wasn't being pressured. But Julio being the beast he is caught it. Joe Montana was a comeback king, just like Brady, only Brady has some games where it is rigged. Even then, Montana was still better. Do I even need to explain Steve Young? Aaron Rodgers has a 4:1 almost 5:1 touchdown to interception ratio. No other QB in history has even a 3:1 ratio. 206 touchdowns and only 42 interceptions in the last 6 seasons. Aaron Rodgers can pass in the pocket, standing still, running full speed, tap dancing. Tom Brady is a great QB, and I'm not saying he isn't, but he is overrated as hell in my opinion.
Joseph Vincent: RUclips Legend This has to be the 50th time I've seen this work of art (video) and it always feels like the whole thing was just a few minutes ago. I will NEVER get tired of this.
When the commentators were saying that Brady had lost it during the first quarter against the Rams in 2019, I kept thinking of what is said at the 6:20 mark: 'A lot of people thought in the first half, "well it's over." Not it's not. Because they have Captain America. And this is what he does. He finds a way to win games.'
Having come all the way back to tie it, by the time overtime began, the Patriots were so "matter of fact" about winning this game they may as well have been playing the Jets in week 3. What a team.
As a broncos fan i don't dislike the patriots nor do i like them either but i gotta admit that Brady and the pats put one hell of a ball game in Houston. best super bowl that I've seen ( i was there ) . i hate to admit it but brady is the goat.
Diane Weber Hate ur team...but i have respect for them. When all is done ill look back and say man that broncos defence was fucking awesome.. Same thing when manning retired.
MattnCam0408 Cheated how? Spygate? No evidence he was aware of what happened. Deflategate? No evidence the balls were manually deflated, as multiple physicists have shown. But don't let the facts get in the way of your deeply held opinions.
But Brady is HUNGRIER than Joe Montana was...he cares MORE about his health, he's dedicated himself to eating well and working out to PROLONG his playing career AND he plays for >>>LESS MONEY

Aaron Rodgers #GOAT #12Hunnit #Clutch none of it is wrong, What made it so wrong was that they used his draft report instead of his actual play on the field to determine how good he is. I mean mayock didn't even have him being drafted, called him the 10th best qb in the draft. based on everything he should have been at least a 3rd round pick. but im glad he didnt get drafted till 199, it gave him the fuel to become the greatest of all time.
all those drawbacks would be obviously visible if Brady were not surrounded by his other patriot teammates. Hell you could put me on the team and I would collect a ring. lol
I was watching this game with my dad and they got down 21-3 before half and my dad was pissed and went to bed. I wasn’t a patriots fan but I knew Brady was special and I said to myself “it can’t end like this” and I said a prayer. And then they go down 28-3 out of the half and I was torn in my heart watching this icon fall. But then I saw him on the sidelines and I saw his eyes. Every pass, every rush, every play had my heart in my throat and when they won the coin toss I said “Tom Brady is the greatest football player ever”
You posted this comment roughly two months after the video was posted. I'm from Seattle and lost our Super Bowl to the Patriots, but I got nothing but respect for Brady, unlike other people who are still bitter over here. Brady is, without a doubt, the greatest ever. When your team is up against him you feel like you're against Darth Vader on the field. He's a role model and an inspiration for me. He is also the comeback king. 6th round pick, everyone underestimated him, he used that chip on the shoulder to wipe the smile off the faces of critics saying he was going to fall short. Brady deserves another Super Bowl, and I'm not even from New England.
What the haters need to realize is before the game winning interception by butler,we were winning by 4 points, they act like they would of won if we didn't intercept, all we had to do was stop a touchdown not score ourselves.
Brady is about to get the sixth infinity stone like Thanos. But the only difference is that he already wiped out half of the NFL. Edit: once again thank you for the love ❤️. Edit 2: Well....Now I can safely say Tom Brady is LA Goat. 💯 Edit 3: Brady’s son: “Did you do it ?” Tom Brady: Yes! Son: “What did it cost?” Brady: “Julien Edelman’s Beard”
I don't know much about football, because I'm from Germany and a hardcore Bayern Munich fan, but after some time I tried to get into the world of american football and I watched two super bowls in a row and it's just insane! the atmosphere, the tactics and the tension during the game. Now the patriots is the team that I cheer up and I would have never excepted that there will be one day when I go totally crazy watching a football match, but then there was the last super bowl when the patriots took over the lead after an expected defeat and I swear that I went totally insane like it was a soccer game of Munich
Paancake it's not like the best sport in the world. Difference is they kill the momentum every 10 seconds and cut to commercials every 2 minutes making this shit unwatchable
I just watched this again!!! To me the 28-3 is the one I enjoyed the most, the one time I doubt it TB12 in a game as he looked defeated for a slight second, only to have the greatest comeback on SB history
The journey to the five rings. I am soon to get to that phase, but until then, being the 2nd last pick to a 5x NFL champion just solidified himself being a QB GOAT. #Tom12Brady
9:44 THIS is what stands out for me. "Simply, through the force of Tom Brady's will" that's what makes him great. The will to win. He spreads it out to every member of his team and makes him believe everything its possible, which makes it so

***** I don't think so. The game has evolved so much from then to now because the league was brand new. coming from a die hard dolphins fan, I hate that I love that s.o.b., and admit that we are lucky enough to be witnessing history every time he takes a snap
Cam 18 I'm a pack fan arod is my favorite player but I will say tom brady is goat. But Aaron Rodgers is second best of the present
eToro BoT Exactly, talent and skill are 2 different things. You can make the case that Moss was more talented than Rice. But Rice was far more skilled.
Cam 18 he's NOT the greatest football player of all time. He's the greatest QB of all time tho
I (begrudgingly) agree that Brady is the best of all time, BUT: edelman's catch was just as lucky as tyree's catch. Just saying.
I am happy to have had the privilege of living through this era of football. Truly the best years of my life.

I think I love you.
XpertMikey he never cheated

Brady's clutchness is what separates him from the pack.
when MJ retired, I said to myself there well never be anyone clutch like him in any sports, well I was wrong there is tom brady. Tom Brady is the 🐐🐐🐐

Joseph Vincent I am watching this again on 1-19-19 and it still hits me as hard when it happened. I'll watch this in 2050 and still have the same reaction. Brady = GOAT
Patriots are in SUPERBOWL 53.. OH YEAH YEAH
adrenaline I’m going to watch it in 2050 too. Oh, wait. I’ll most likely be pushing up daisies by then. Crap!!

Those words still gives me chills.... like no matter what they do they are facing TOM BRADY

Dude... ESPN really needs to hire you to make these highlight videos. the production quality is beyond RUclips. you're amazing dude.

Announcer in 2004- “2 superbowls in 3 years, thats as close to a dynasty as your gonna have in this era of free agency and player movement”
Theyve now made 9 superbowls in 18 years.
Big Mak dont know much about NHL, but arent the Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadians considered to have the best dynasties?
Marc Cohen canadiens won most of their cups when there was 6 teams in the league. Oilers are definitely #2 to the wings tho
What makes Brady the GOAT is he came into the NFL as a nobody, no hype nothing.
Brah Sumatra It amazes me, how close he was to not even being in the nfl
Ash Ketchums Dad Yep and if it wasn't for Bill Belichick he wouldn't be the GOAT.
Ash Ketchums Dad Exactly which proves hype means jack.
TheRedneckSage Brady was a nobody when he came into the NFL and Belichick saw something in him other coaches wouldn't have.
I like the transitions from real time to Tom's past, almost like flash backs, it added to Tom Brady's legendary performance in Super Bowl LI. I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the past, and it brought back some of my greatest memories growing up, thank you Joseph Vincent.
Space Pioneer IKR
Id personally like to thank every team that passed on this man over and over again in the draft...
Its YOU who fueled this guy to the greatest career we'll ever see in the NFL
And here's to Brady...for never stopping
And for twisting that kinfe so deep as his revenge
I am not a Patriots fan but I am continually astonished to see just how consistently good the Patriots and Brady are. After Bill and Tom retire, the Patriots will erect statues of them, and never again fort many years will we see anything like them again.
Yes, and I'm a Dolphins fan. And with me saying that...no need for me to say anything else...
I know right
As a Steelers fan, I hate how good Brady is. It can't be denied
i was there. it was incredible
THIS EDITING IS HEAVEN 🙏
Justin Alves i couldn't have said it any better man, I agree 100%
Tyler Durden It's being said Patriots might offer him a 3-5 year contract.Brady said if he knows he is able to play he will keep playing until he sucks
Weapons Of Warfare which he won't ever
Justin Alves It's actually now a plot of a real movie being made haha
Not unheard of, people have done it before him.

Greatest QB of all time? Steve Young was better, Joe Montana was better, Aaron Rodgers is better. Not to mention the Super Bowl comeback was setup.
@@noahparker50 captain fat fuck is still the best

The football devil that is...

Aaron Rodgers #GOAT #12Hunnit #Clutch they missed the glass " half full "
all those drawbacks would be obviously visible if Brady were not surrounded by his other patriot teammates. Hell you could put me on the team and I would collect a ring. lol
If they put on the team you wouldn't be collecting anything other than the garbage.

A Loser Asian Kid well said.... I used to live in Seattle so I feel for your SB loss.
What the haters need to realize is before the game winning interception by butler,we were winning by 4 points, they act like they would of won if we didn't intercept, all we had to do was stop a touchdown not score ourselves.

9:44 THIS is what stands out for me. "Simply, through the force of Tom Brady's will" that's what makes him great. The will to win. He spreads it out to every member of his team and makes him believe everything its possible, which makes it so
Never underestimate the heart of a champion.
