    This is probably the greatest sports film I've ever seen, and I'm not even a Patriots fan. How can you not agree that Tom Brady is the best ever. He has entered the hall of Sports icons with Jordan, Ruth, Gretzky. We witnessed eternal history be made, someday 100 years from now Tom Brady will endure as the greatest football player ever and we will have been there to see it.

      The game wasn't nearly as competitive back then. Also half the teams weren't even in the same league as the Browns. There wasn't a salary cap either so one team could pay the best players in the league to all come to one team. There is good reason not to care for those championships.

    • @brucebecker3290
      @brucebecker3290 7 лет назад

      pre salary cap applies to the SF 49ers too. just add Deon Sanders.

    • @kylelussier7323
      @kylelussier7323 7 лет назад

      ***** I don't think so. The game has evolved so much from then to now because the league was brand new. Something called diminishing returns is going to take place, meaning 100 years will produce much less improvements since the game is at a much higher level and you can only improve something so much until it is optimal.

    I think this year is different due to him breaking Joe Montana's record for SB wins. It made people stop and think more analytically about what he's accomplished. The biggest thing that resonates with me is his work ethic. How he approaches his job makes him a true role model.
    Maybe this will qualify my opinion of him more or maybe not: I'm not a Patriots fan. I'm born and raised a Packer fan. However, it doesn't matter what football team you're a fan of; hard work and dedication of this caliber are only something to aspire to.

Oh, and people are debating if he's greater than Michael Jordan."

      @TheRedneckSage 7 лет назад +10

      Brah Sumatra actually buddy Belichick was the losing coach until Brady came along but I will give credit where it's due. the powerful combination of the two is apparently just overwhelming. the key to their success it seems must be the obviously extraordinary powerful affect of confidence building partnership and team-mate reliability sharpened by probably the smartest and most intense Focus ever seen for a coach and a player. players that go to New England I believe are inspired by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick s Drive confidence preparation expectations and desire to do only one thing win in the football game. Bellatrix true genius is and being able to spot recruit Talent is largely unnoticed but hungry. I believe one of these last round draft picks and traded free agents that most teams cast off come to play for the Patriots and are inspired to become more than themselves. they believe. you saw the power of this in evidence and in full View this season after the way it transformed the Dallas Cowboys team when Dak Prescott took over the role as quarterback in the place of Tony Romo who by All rights is a damn good quarterback. but that something that you can't touch and can't describe was the elixir the Cowboys needed to finally give Jerry Jones something to brag about. a truly great leader inspires those he is directing anyway that brings full dedication the commitment from everyone involved. that is the element you cannot measure in the combine in any way shape or form. I'm like the guy above who commented and mused about how close Tom Brady came to never even being drafted. what makes me so emotional and excited and thrilled to watch Tom Brady success is how much fearlessness he had to have conjured in the face of every doubter in the external a more ruthlessly in the internal that he has always overcome all with the humility of a saint. the opportunity we have had to witness the way he has come from the meek and inherited the Earth should inspire every single living human being has ever had to preform and overcome in any area of life. never an excuse muttered and then silent humility and Grace even when he is accused and then Vindicated is a true spectacle to watch. those that criticize Excellence on this level obviously have an enormously inflated sense of self on the exterior that Tom Brady unknowingly exposes if you hate him you must truly be an a****** because the he is the success story of every great Underdog Ever Told and we get to watch it happen before our eyes.

    At this point it's kind of hard to even find words to describe what Tom Brady has done for the game of football. A sixth round pick turned into a 5 time super bowl champion, its unheard of, it's literally the plot of a fictional movie. Tom Brady is the greatest player to ever touch a football field and the scariest part of it all is that he isn't even close to finished, what exactly is in his head saying "you need to do more" , whatever that natural drive is, is what separates him from anyone.

      @@harryepstein7499 Oh simple, by making the 2 same players commit fouls every single time by the defense, just in case the Pats don't gain enough yardage. The refs would throw the flags and call the penalty AFTER the play. Where as refs usually throw the flags the moment they see a penalty. Matt Ryan throwing an unnecessary out of bounds throw, even though he wasn't being pressured. But Julio being the beast he is caught it. Joe Montana was a comeback king, just like Brady, only Brady has some games where it is rigged. Even then, Montana was still better. Do I even need to explain Steve Young? Aaron Rodgers has a 4:1 almost 5:1 touchdown to interception ratio. No other QB in history has even a 3:1 ratio. 206 touchdowns and only 42 interceptions in the last 6 seasons. Aaron Rodgers can pass in the pocket, standing still, running full speed, tap dancing. Tom Brady is a great QB, and I'm not saying he isn't, but he is overrated as hell in my opinion.

      Aaron Rodgers #GOAT #12Hunnit #Clutch none of it is wrong, What made it so wrong was that they used his draft report instead of his actual play on the field to determine how good he is. I mean mayock didn't even have him being drafted, called him the 10th best qb in the draft. based on everything he should have been at least a 3rd round pick. but im glad he didnt get drafted till 199, it gave him the fuel to become the greatest of all time.

    I was watching this game with my dad and they got down 21-3 before half and my dad was pissed and went to bed. I wasn’t a patriots fan but I knew Brady was special and I said to myself “it can’t end like this” and I said a prayer. And then they go down 28-3 out of the half and I was torn in my heart watching this icon fall. But then I saw him on the sidelines and I saw his eyes. Every pass, every rush, every play had my heart in my throat and when they won the coin toss I said “Tom Brady is the greatest football player ever”

      You posted this comment roughly two months after the video was posted.
      The video is almost 22 minutes long. 87600 minutes in 2 months. 800 (times watched) x 22 (minutes) = 17,600 total minutes watched. 17,600/87,600 = 0.20. Either you've spent 20% of your time watching this video since its been uploaded, or you're lying. I find it more likely that you're lying. Shame on you.

    I'm from Seattle and lost our Super Bowl to the Patriots, but I got nothing but respect for Brady, unlike other people who are still bitter over here. Brady is, without a doubt, the greatest ever. When your team is up against him you feel like you're against Darth Vader on the field. He's a role model and an inspiration for me. He is also the comeback king. 6th round pick, everyone underestimated him, he used that chip on the shoulder to wipe the smile off the faces of critics saying he was going to fall short. Brady deserves another Super Bowl, and I'm not even from New England.

    Edit: once again thank you for the love ❤️.

    Edit 3:

    Son: “What did it cost?”
    Brady: “Julien Edelman’s Beard”

    I don't know much about football, because I'm from Germany and a hardcore Bayern Munich fan, but after some time I tried to get into the world of american football and I watched two super bowls in a row and it's just insane! the atmosphere, the tactics and the tension during the game. Now the patriots is the team that I cheer up and I would have never excepted that there will be one day when I go totally crazy watching a football match, but then there was the last super bowl when the patriots took over the lead after an expected defeat and I swear that I went totally insane like it was a soccer game of Munich
