Tell me your thoughts on what you think of the final result? 🚁🏞👌🏻

Did you just pan manually and shot each photo?

Yeah, moved the drone sideways a bit as well for each shot! So shot 1, top left, tilt down to middle left shot 2, tilt down bottom left shot 3. Then pan camera and move drone sideways a few feet. Shot 4 tilt up to top middle, shot 5 tilt down to middle middle, shot 6 tilt down to bottom middle. Then move to final position and repeat top middle bottom shots. Focusing each time to make sure you get the focus and exposure right for the scene.

Hi. So am I to understand that you took all these photos manually so to speak and did not use the automation for panoramas built into the DJI Air 2S software ? Did you just rotate your drone manually and grab photos at regular intervals? I find theAir 2S lens so wide that it's difficult to come up with panoramic that do not look fisheye and distorted. Ta.

Yeah that’s how I did this one. I moved the drone as well between each shot - not just rotated it and as I was so far out it captured a fairly nice panorama without looking weird or distorted. I haven’t ever used the built in feature on the drone so can’t say if that would produce a more or less fisheyed result or not.

Thanks Michael I will try this. One other question if you would be so kind. I was shooting some video of a construction site in bright sunlight today at 5600 K 60/30 H.264 MOV 29.97 normal profile (ND 64) and the same in HLG and I was finding that my white values were getting a bit blown out. Less so in HLG. I am going out to try this in DLOG but alway find it difficult to get the blue back in the sky with D-LOG. How do you shoot as a general rule. I was going to use h.264 60/30 (NTSC) always but I am finding the depth of colors quite limited. Any info you have here would be greatly appreciated. Possibly I a asking to much from the Air S's camera. It looks more sumer than pro to me. Great videos and thanks. Cheers.

@@garyfluxgold8975 Yeah I think that may be due to colour shift through using the heavy ND. But I would always shoot a high dynamic scene in Dlog as you can correct for white balance before applying a LUT or colour grade which means you can get a better final result. Also my heaviest ND is only 32 and I run a faster shutter speed if I need to. So up to 120 for 5.4K 30 fps or for faster movement I set the drone to 4K 50fps and run 100 shutter speed. That usually lets me capture everything except the sun itself correctly exposed.
