I grew up in South Central Los Angeles and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would listen to country music. Ive been listening to Chris for the last 6 months and can't stop!!!! trying to make it out to Laughlin in March....

Saving country by singing the blues. Country came from the blues so it makes sense. Good example on this album would be "Death Row". Most his songs are blues with country under tones.

Grabbed the album today, and on the way home in the car, I played this track 4 straight times. The album overall is excellent, even better than his first, which was tremendous in its own right

This album is equally as fabulous as his first album, just love it, not a bad song on the whole album, this is real country in every sense of the word. His lyrics are awesome as always, great story telling, trust me me you will be playing this song on repeat loudly
