BOILERPLA... ER, GENERAL INFO:
Tom, Deb, and Ob would like to thank everyone who have been kind enough to send in gifts. Seriously, you guys are just the best.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.
FAQ & A:
Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ".
Tom's personal email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com
You can also call him if you prefer (856-866-8733) between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, EST. This may be slightly more difficult because he's forever running around away from his desk, but it's worth a shot.
Q: I have a amusing anecdote, scathing criticism, or heartfelt compliment that I deeply need to express and I require / demand / long for a personalized response! What should I do?!
A: See "A" above.
Again, Tom's email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com

Could I make one suggestion, Tom: It would be awesome if you’d finish every episode with the “piece of the day”, showing one of your favorite pieces of your tremendous collection. 👍
Excellent idea 👏👏👏
Would love that too ❤
Would indeed be a great way to close every episode, with show casing one or two special pieces of your collection!!!
Brilliant idea!
I was thinking the same! So many amazing artifacts, each with their own story. Great Idea!
Absolutely incredible chained SS, great stories too.
I'll never get tired of em.
Ob says his birthday is coming up and that chained S.S. is awful nice, I think you could buy a nice car and still have some change left over on that Dagger, I wouldn't touch that baby with a piece of the finest silk man has made, yes, I am a purist and what a lovely piece of history, thanks tom and the ladies who put it back in circulation.
I'm suspicious of that KZ cap, would def take a hard look at that one!
Another Great vid, Thanks for staying yourself and exposing us to your knowledge.
"Tell that to the goat" Great line Ob.
Seeing that Rubber chicken in the background always makes me laugh, I used to have one like that as a kid and my family members would throw it at each other 😂😂
And he is back, the Late Night Show in miniature, the entertainer "hors competition" The Monday show of choice !! You know Thomas, I am not a collector, at all, I watch for the fun of learning but even more the fun of the videos you make, a true pleasure to listen and watch. So go forth, smoke, drink, live and keep us entertained with your stories, a pleasure !! But I do thank you for your efforts, I really do :-)
Your videos are without a doubt my favorite RUclips content. The only problem (for me) is every time I call or email trying to purchase a newly unboxed dagger, it’s already gone. One of these days I’ll be quick enough. Thanks for making these.
That is the most awesome chained SS I have ever seen
Hi Tom,
The shield on the two scabbards is from The 101st Cavalry Regiment (a unit of the New York National Guard)
Regards
Liam
Another incredibly beautiful late RZM SA Dagger by F.&A.Helbig Steinbach 🗡.
I love late RZM Daggers from Thüringen 🤩.
The visor cap of the SS KZ is impressive. The amazing thing is that an item like this, of great value, is sent by the USPS .....
I don't like it..very suspicious of it
WOW!! That chained SS 🥰
Another educational and entertaining video! I have been watching since episode 1 and these are always great entertainment!
Very instesting "unboxing" episode as usual, but please try to persuade the videoman to purchase a tripod to stabilize his camera. It's often uncomfortable with plenty of jerky movements preventing to clearly see the pieces, and causing numerous reflected lights. Don't change the nice relaxed good mood of the videos. Best wishes Mister Wittmann, take care and continue to show us nice stuff! Regards from FRANCE.
Ah Monday morning and enjoying another in the cellar vid with the guys smoking and drinking allowed 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Not just allowed but encouraged!
Thank you for the nice video Mr. Wittmann 😊😊😊 Greetings from Belgium
Glad you enjoyed it!
Old smokie the drunkard gambler😂🥃
Fantastic unboxing. The KZ visor is chilling, but it is history. Thanks again for the videos, Herr Professor of Militaria.
Nice ...greet from norway😊
Cheers to you, team Wittmann and to everyone whos passionate for those items!
Good evening mr. Wittmann and OB. This is a splendid edition. The last dagger ⚡⚡ is a cherry on a pie.👍From Russia with ❤
Think I may start smoking and drinking bc of these fine gentlemen. Thanks!

Initial snort made cigar jealous, quickest relight yet, love your show
That's would be really nice
You and OB are class acts..great video's gentlemen
Hi Mr. Wittmann. Those scabbard badges you were wondering about are pre -WWII 101st Cavalry Regiment insignia. Circa 1920's according to the interwebs.
Chained Dagger is one of the nicest I have ever seen, outstanding piece of history.
Hello. Nice to see another item for the collection.
Love the channel as always Tom! That KZ… oof. That would make a great addition.
Great stuff Wittmann as usual !!!!
well amazing blade night with great items. the chained ss and history is just amazing, geez wow you cant upgrade from that. the concentration camp ss officers visor hat is amazing as well. wow great night of items. thank you for sharing these finds
Love you guys smoking and drinking great show thanks
And a rare SS visor ..dont send it to Australia 😮😅
I aboslolutely love these youtube videos. Ones I very much looking forward too. Please however, buy a standing tripod for better video stablility. I have to skip a lot of the video due to the incredible amounts of moving and zooming making it very difficult to watch comfortably.
Always wanted a clean SS dagger, this one in beginning of video is nice.
The crème de la crème you definitely saved the best for last👍👍 It needs to be sold on the condition it will never be cleaned.
The rattle of ice ,nice .
Hi mr Wittmann, the "austrian" bayonet is a m48 Yugoslavian bayonet and the frog on it is a swedish m96 bayonet frog. I hope this helps. I hope this helps!
Thanks for the great video.
And greetings from the Netherlands :)
You should always offer lower end items as long as they are described accurately. That's how younger people who don't make much money can get started without breaking the bank.
Belle daghe, una informazione quanto costa una baionetta della polizia?? ciao e grazie!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤what a time.sure Gruß Felix From Düsseldorf Germany
Thank you, Felix!
Your calm Videos ist pure Gold..
Riverboat Whittmann ... you just need a vest and a gamblers top Hat!
You're right Tom. I've played alot of craps, and once down in Atlantis in the Bahamas, a lady at the end of the table who had never thrown before made, if I remember correctly, 7 straight passes. I wish I had taken my chips down near the end as I had a lot money out there, raising each number up a unit every time it hit until I had a $50 4 and 10 and alot bigger 8s and 6s. She hit a ton of hardways bets too. Paul Pierce's (Boston Celtics) (sp?) brother was there, and he made about $60K. He won 4 hardways bets laying $300 each time so each bet paid him $2700. Anyway, I walked away with about $1800 from that 40-minute run. Pierce's brother threw her 3 $100 chips as a thank you.
Maybe an educational "rule of thumb" on putting the dagger in the scabbard correctly.
Prost Mr Wittmann, Grüsse aus Leipzig
The best
C’mon BooBoo!
❤love the channel, what’s going’s on with Tape on my Favorite pop lol ?
hey pops next time you get a field cap can you try it on for us thanks
Every time i saw your videos, after a few hours i'm buying something...my wife will kill me😵💫
Every glass has a hole otherwise you won't be able to fill it😉
Fantastic stuff Wittmann’s !
I can’t help but think that by having a hobby tool it increases the amount of taking apart daggers when we want them untouched..
I wouldn’t want to mess with my GO spanners for 1.
Thanks for the wonderful entertainment.
Straighten up and swim right aab. Lol. Start learnin all you can. I didnt get the chance...
Tom, have you listed the Officer SS dagger you just showed on your inventory yet? Thanks, Mike / Toms River
❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The ss on the one dagger looked like the Chevy ss
Metales nobles. 🎓. 👍
Good afternoon Thomas. The bayonet knife that you brush with Austrian is actually Yugoslav, the suspension is not native. The manufacturer is at five .
👍😃
The SS dagger RZM 1196 is Edward Wusthof
I don't know how I feel about including concentration camp guards insignia into the collectors market.... :/
Anyway, good show as always
Then you wouldn’t want any SS memorabilia most SS guys were either in the camps or rounding them up.
as far as i know m7/70 is david malsch , steinbach and m7/73 a helbing , steinbach but i think you will know.
RZM M7/70
David Malh
Who are you Ob ? .. there a picture of you on that wall back there ?
Who calls on a Sunday ?
What does Kz stand for please?
A contraction of KonZentrationslager (concentration camp). Two letters to give one nightmares.
Please folks, dont clean antique weapons unless its a Japanese katana. They go by different rules. They are worth more "in polish" but european arms are almost always worth more when left as is.
Don't clean it . That dagger speaks volumes.
