Oxidization happens because of powder which has a little bit of colour or compact powder. When u set your foundation with powder after a while the natural oils come out of your skin and make the powder a little darker which is oxidation.
To prevent it you should set your makeup with translucent powder

Still not enough shades for dark complexions!!! They've stuck to one undertone and only two or three shades but Kudos to the fact that they extended their share range to a certain extent at least!!

I wonder why no one talks about the skin care after the make up. I mean, explaining everything is great, every mua does that but the point here is, people also should talk about how does your skin reacts after using certain makeup products. What product is harsh on the skin and what product is not. We use a lot of make up for the base and they end up ruining our face. What to do with that ? I simply think make up makes your skin age faster. I'm a makeup lover but ever since i stopped using it , my skin has became baby skin again.
3 years back i saw her video and bought this product.. And this product became my favourite one.. And now 12 shades.. Omg.. M very excited to try 😍❤️

Very good review! This foundation is really weightless and good for everyday wear, although i do find that it enhances my skin's texture. Thats a put off for me. Ignoring the price point, i would rather go for the matreal mousse one.

Why we dark girls come so late ? Why should we go for lakme now ?
True, dark girls do come last. But mentality changes and they can finally see the demand for darker shades. If they continue with this momentum I think it would OK to forgive them for their lack of inclusivity in the past.
This is not company's mistake....we ladies don't accept their appearance...their complexion....and we are the ladies who do not buy their own shades foundation ...they always buy 1 or 2 shades lighter than their skin...that's why company make available these lighter shades more....

Even Nykaa's representatives said that even tho there were 20 shades, people still bought lighter ones for their dark skin tones. There are a lot of people who are proud of their skintone and buy their original shade, people who urge brands to be more inclusive but you have to understand that the % is still small. Majority still have that mentality, that being fair will bring everything in your life. That is what we have to fight against. Then brands will side with us too, cause there's money to be made there

How there is demand just now ? Did dark people not exist before this point ? There always been demand but we were always ignored. It is fault of the company because there are so many other companies like krylon, la girl which are reasonably priced, good quality,and providing variety of shades. So before defending a company know that their competitors are doing much better and since the beginning. Bringing 8 shades now out of which most are still beige does not work.

Hi Shreya, I m using this foundation since 2016 since u reviewed it😘😘😘. Trust me my n urs views are same. I highly recommend for daily wear as it gives u natural look and doesn't look cakey at all. Yeah it gives smooth finish. If someone has dark acne scar u can hide them with concealer.
