The flashlight and lantern batteries NEVER run out. Use them all you want. Also make yourself a few stick hooks, you can place on the raft flooring and its basically a long stick with a hook on the end. Extremely handy because you can take Lanterns and hang them on the hooks and bingo bango.......Yo Whole Raft lit up at night.......apart from seeing the lights also make it easy to go shark night killin. IMO they make it easier to see the sharks than the day time........make Smoker to cook ya food!!1 lol

Yeah it was central according to the cartographer, and one of the biggest so we can stash all our container loads of loot! ;)
To deconstruct, you need the axe. You will get some or all materials back, but be careful because building can get difficult if you get it wrong. If you accidentally hit construction, use the hammer to repair. Hope this helps. To get new floors, you may need to rebuild everything ... At least that's how it was last time i played this.

also, rocks....i heard you mentioned you couldn't find many at the start of this vid. when that happens take a swim in the shallow water around your island. You''ll prolly find a Rock node you can mine, or maybe even clay.....

@@beemsvr oops, my mind was on modded….. Just clay in water and rock nodes on land in vanilla Stranded Deep.
I believe Game edge said that the lights get their energy from the sun. so they never run out. also you can collect crates for storage.as well as take them with you. when you visit other islands. you'll be able to bring your findings back.
To the best of my knowledge only the Yucca plants, Small Palm Saplings (the ones that give Fibrous Leaves only) and animals will respawn on islands. Nothing respawns underwater or in shipwrecks except for the wildlife. The only way to get the harvestable plants, fruits and vegies to respawn is for you to farm them in a crop plot. So Rocks, Sticks, Trees, Palm Fronds, Coconuts, Clay, Potatoes, Fruits and all that stuff you find in the world, once you take it and use it, its gone.
If u grab 4 drinkable coconuts ( the brown ones ) and make a pile. U can grab one from the pile drink it and put it back in said pile. It will refill with water. Also when drinking them walk away from the pile a few feet. Turn around put it back, wait like 5 seconds grab another and drink. U can keep doing this till your water meter is filled. U will not get sick.

You make tool belts and switch easier through tools
I was trying to assign tools, but they wouldn't assign. Is there a "Special way" to make a spear #1 or whatever?
Try extending at the back of your raft, cause sometimes whe you exit the the steering it bumps you off
Ok do I need to build around the rudder? Leave some room to maneuver?
@@generalg1946 wel if you use the STICKS you should be able to place it against the the rudder but it only works wiith sticks tho

If you come across some clay, you might want to get it. you can make a water bottle. I think it holds more than one serving of water. you can find them in the water and on land.
I actually have seen some, but only recently have I made a pick axe😀
If you don’t skin the animals until you are ready to cook, the meat does not go bad
I know the smoker you can do multiple meat cooking, not sure about any of the others

I don’t know if you figured it but out yet but highlight the tool you want on your belt and hold the number til it shows on the hot bar just remember if you drop it out of your hand you will have to do it again
I did finally figure that out but I did not use it. One question, does putting it in the belt free up inventory in the wheel?
