Wonderful booth setup…..very natural and organic looking…..especially thought the burlap covers on the table looked great. Fun to see the market…..thanks for sharing your day! Cheers Nancy

Looks like lots of work for lots of fun, companionship, and hopefully most rewarding. Thanks indeed for sharing.

That’s awesome! Congrats on doing so well!
I’m not sure if it’s something you keep track of, but with the material cost of what you’re bringing, plus the value for your talent & time (learning, painting and being at the market), the table cost for the market as well, approximately how many ‘really excellent’ market days does it take to break even? Or do you see it more as a way to introduce more people to your art and to make some sales as well, since the business cards could lead to future sales?
    Thanks!

I keep track of the cost of entry to have a table there against my sales.. it’s a way to make money from introducing people to who you are and what you do. Because I charge from £20 - £500 for larger products people need time to consider the purchase, so sometimes you’ll find commisssions come in a year later after the market, or there’s a sale the next day or next month.. markets are so unknown.. which is partly what I enjoy about them
