Really gives me Germany in ww1 being so overstretched that if a small country like Denmark joined the conflict, they would be able to march on Berlin unnoposed-vibes
The mishap with the marines landing in the wrong port. There must have been heavy fog and so the transport commander decided to land short so as to not risk grounding the ships on the sholes in poor visibility. Still, it all worked out in the end. The Norwegians decision to attack your marines in the north turned out to be a fatal mistake for the Norwegians as it exhausted their forces, making them vulnerable to your Mountaineers in the south. Along with the Bomber air wing and it was just too much for the beleaguered defenders. It must feel good to have the conflict in SE Asia finally wrapped up. That was quite exhausting for the troops
Yes, the larger battles in central Europe are mostly fought by the armoured spearheads, with regular infantry moving up behind, but the special forces expeditions is where the really grueling fighting occurs, from landing on the icy coast in Norway to the jungles of central Asia
The Australians can’t attack you while you’re at war with the third Internationale because the faction leader Canada has a non aggression pact with you. But after the war with the Third Internationale ends and you occupy parts of France and Britain war with the entente is inevitable because you walked out of the Halifax conference.
Oh, I don't trust the Canadians to uphold the non-aggression pact, I've seen Austria-Hungary calling that off early on in the game, and they've had tank divisions on our borders ever since. We'll see what they come up with. But there will be some strategic realignment into the Pacific anyway, since the war on the Western front is going to wrap up within the year, and the Eastern front is already relatively well staffed, so there will be troops available.
I have an intro suggestion that I would like to post! If you decide to Sealion Britain, you should def do a Wochenschau with "Das Engellandlied". It would definitely fit in my opinion. The song was written in 1914 as well.
We'll see if RUclips lets me get away with this, but I'll definitely try. Didn't know this one, thanks! As a side note, avoiding copyright issues, even with old marching music, is an absolute pain (and there's not much around that's free to use). I'm looking at either licensing, but most of the bulk license options are around pop music, or getting AI to create custom music, which I've had some promising early results with.
just recently found your channel and im pleased to say that i've had loads of fun watching your videos and your unique style so please keep up the great work!
We must achieve Pax Germanica and establish world dominance as the British did before us, even if we must fight the reamnants of their shattered empire.
They only join under three conditions, France moves into southern Germany, Russia capitulates Ukraine, or the Third Internationale take too much of Italy. Only one of these could realistically happen.
Yeah, Austria seems to just observe at this point, hoping that Germany might be sufficiently weakened. What they might end up seeing though is a united, militarized and certainly nationalist Empire under a not-too-bright, but ambitious Kaiser
German Reporter: "How would you describe the fighting in Narvik?"
German Soldier, who's ears have been ringing for 8 hours straight: "WHAT?!"
6 months later, in Russia:
"remember what happened to Narvik?"
"where is Narvik?"
"exactly"
I can see that Terry is getting paranoid overtime thinking that everyone is going attack him.
Well, being the leading superpower in the world means that once there's a perceived weakness, everyone is getting ideas

Ive been long awaiting for this episode
2:37 oh, yes, "liberate")

Three cheers for the brave lions of Sweden! One step closer to a Syndie free Europe
Yes, I so needed this episode!

@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Well, here's to hoping
just recently found your channel and im pleased to say that i've had loads of fun watching your videos and your unique style so please keep up the great work!
Thanks, and welcome aboard!
I think you can allign Burma with a focus
Oh, interesting, I'll have to check. Probably up top in the initial foreign politics tree
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Yes
i wanted to see that naval battle result off of the coast of france at the end :(
Sorry, I completely missed that one. It was towards the end of the episode, too, so reloading would have meant redoing 90 minutes of recording
Good work as always !

This will bring the Pacific theatre into focus more, with a potential for an island campaign against both the Entente and Japan
Austria just chilling lmao

Have you tried Kaiser Redux yet?
It's always been described as the "crazy" sibling of this one. There are a lot of mods on my list to try, and alas, so little time :)
