There's always Handcrafters, if you do lose the hand, though. Fry had to get both of his replaced there after he lost them feeding a pig to a T-Rex at a kiddie park (and boy, does that sentence look weird actually written out). @@DoctorER I can't think of a single episode off the top of my head of this show that doesn't have at least 1 crazy medical thing going on. It's a goldmine for your videos!
XD That worms episode was a crazy one! The worms end up being not parasites as all, infact their Mutualist Alien Worms, while living in Fry's body they basically go around to all the parts of his body, repairing any damage to it, like how they fixed up the hole in his chest, as well as sort of tuning up his organs. Making his muscles stronger they exercising them for him, stimulating the synapses in his brain to make him able to retain information better, making him smarter and more confident, etc. But at the end of the episode Fry chooses to get rid of the worms anyway because he fears all these changes their making to his body will cause him to no longer be himself.
Yes, it was insane! I saw the rest of it but it just didn’t make the final cut for the video. I love how these cartoons depict human anatomy. It’s really cool.
@@jasongretencord3326 I think the difference is that the Worms were actually changing his entire self so much that he could no longer tell if his actions were his own doing or the worms anymore. Even better: The rest of that episode with the worms in Fry's intestine goes way more in-depth: The reason he was able to heal up from the pipe was because the worms are 'fixing' him to be better (so he can be a better home for them), but the show dives into the whole Ship of Theseus argument about whether or not Fry is really 'himself' anymore because the worms are artificially altering him in ways he can't control. Especially when they get to his brain and make him smarter, he starts to doubt who he really is at this point, and whether or not he can accept these objective benefits to his life, in much the same way that the discussion around genetic engineering and 'designer babies' gets into some ethical grey areas in modern medical discussion.

I just reacted to Rick and Morty a few weeks ago. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/DO571fpVdoI/видео.html I’ll definitely do an entire video dedicated to Anatomy Park soon though!
@@DoctorER yay! That's such an interesting episode!
@@DoctorER What about the Magic School Bus? Some episodes take place in a human body as well.
bro i love your reactions the intro music the infos and especially the funny laughing :'D
I’m glad you like them! Truly appreciate it.
It should be noted that the writers of Futurama are, like, Harvard-educated geniuses. They even created a mathmatical formula and several alien cyphers just for fun. It's safe to say none of these references (such as the worms/mayonnaise connection) were accidental.
Great video, but one of the actual funniest scenes in this show is when the crew travel back in time. The Zoidberg "deviled egg" bit. So, so, funny
I’ll have to check it out! Maybe a Futurama react part 2?
Futurama is my all time favorite adult cartoon. And its a treat to see all of Zoidbergs medical mishaps analyzed.
It would be great if you react to some Courage the Cowardly Dog clips. The Dr on that show was insane.
Love that idea! Maybe a compilation of all the classic Cartoon Network shows?
@@DoctorER that sounds great. Shows like KND and Billy & Mandy also have hilarious medical scenes.
@@DoctorER would that include swat kats? there was an episode that had it's 3rd act in a hospital (the episode's called 'razor's edge'm and i'm not gonna spoil it)
@Doctor ER I think there’s a few funny ones from Johnny Bravo too!
Let’s go, thank you so much for making this. Futurama is easily my favorite cartoon show, and probably show in general!
Fry's freezing wasn't an accident, it was a big time loop thing to save the universe.
Shhhh, decades old spoilers!
Watching your videos really brightens up my day :)
I appreciate that! Glad you like them!
I love how he didn’t talk about the fact that Leela has only one eye.
He does in the eye scene
If I had worms that repaired my body, I'd just leave them in there.
I could use them for my spine
Leela's a mutant, she's fine
Oh good! I was worried.
Spoiler alert. Jeez! 😅
In my opinion the only thing mutant about her is having only 1 eye
@@ishy7207 well, that, naturally purple hair, and a ton of recessive genes, plus immunity to mutation from sewer water
Youre one of the few "react" type entertainers that I REALLY feel like you legitimately have never seen the clips. Either that or your a great actor! Regardless Love the videos!!
I counted 39 amputations for the show's entire run.
Oh boy...maybe I need to do a Futurama react part 2?
The bit where Zoidberg says he's lost more patients then the other doctor has even seen always cracks me up.
6:25. _”It’s incredibly painful...”_
You got that right! I had double PRK eye surgery when I was just 18...it hurt so bad I was stuttering when trying to talk...it felt like someone took a handful of sand and threw it in my eyes, then stuck a butane lighter up to both...😳😬🤕 Ps. So this was my 2nd video of yours and I just subscribed ❤️
Thanks for that. I really enjoy doing the react videos come and see what pops out of my brain with different scenes come up. Lots more to come
You deserve more subscribers! Keep up the great work Doctor ER!
Zero dislikes, as it should be. Thanks for another great reaction doc :)
I appreciate it! Thank you for watching! What would you like to see me react to next on my channel?
@@DoctorER I would really love if you would check out some of the medical scenes in Brickleberry :)

Hey Dr. Wagner! I would love to see a video of you taking some MCAT style practice questions! I think it would be interesting to see how applicable MCAT material actually is in the life of a doctor
Isn't the Taco Bell hospital also a reference to Demolition Man, when everything was owned by Taco Bell including the hospitals?
Ooh cool!
Hahah these react videos make my day! Keep it up!
Glad you enjoy them. Thanks for watching! What was your favorite Futurama medical scene?
I really want to see one of these doctors react to the Human Centipede trilogy.
Had to walk too the hospital with a knife stuck in my back. Everyone wanted too pull it out. I remember watching a video you covered an you said not too pull it out.... Got told it was a good thing I didn't pull it out
god, I miss futurama
It's a good show! What was your favorite Futurama clip?
Your explanation of 'scleral' reminded me oh how often I forget that just because I remember something I read or learned in school when I was a kid (37 earlier this month), that doesn't mean everyone knows it.
That laugh definetly brings life to a party. 🤗
Thanks for reminding me I haven't watched Futurama in a long time!
Love the videos btw! 😃😃
This Futurama react video is hilarious 😂😂😂

Found my way here through another channel. Thank you for doing Futurama from all of us life long fans!
Welcome! I'm glad you liked it! Maybe I do a Futurama react part 2?!
the hospital name isnt the only joke like that. one time they went to city hall only it was "Citi Hall" in the font of Citibank
Also, wow so not only are all restaurants Taco Bell in the future, so are all Hospitals.
Low-key I was disappointed I didn't see any Baja Blast in an IV drip.
Love your reaction
Hi Dr. Wagner! I've been watching some of your videos recently and definitely loving the content, very funny and educational. It would be interesting to see your reactions to the movie Osmosis Jones (I think it's on Netflix). Great work, new sub for sure!
I’m glad you enjoy them! Thanks for subbing! Osmosis Jones is definitely on my list.
He some context for ya, the "worms" that were in Fry's body were, despite being worms, actually helping Fry, making him smarter, stronger and were the source of Fry's rapid regeneration.🤯
You should do Steven Universe Future, Growing Pains. It's more of a therapy episode than physical but I'd still like to see you react to it
I love how many awesome new professionals are joining RUclips.

@@losttriad I don't see how we'd be getting more than we're giving. We'd be giving them a habitat, i.e. they would be thanking us for their very survival. By contrast we'd be fine without them, like in real life.
@@nthgth yeah fine is one thing but these things turned him into captain america wolverine taskmaster and Leonardo DaVinci rolled into one. But my point is at what point would it go from symbiotic to us being parasitic sure we could survive after having them removed but would you want to. 9:32 Can we meme that phrase?
"As I always say, don't pull it out!"
First bad advise, coming from a doctor.
Damn this hit hard for me as an actual hypochondriac I've actually had doctors like that
I mean.. the doctors are kind of right then though..
"Dont pull it out!"
You got it, Doctor I saw on RUclips!
Rule number 1 of Futurama medical practice: NEVER go to Zoidberg!
Yes! Never! 😂
Why not Zoidberg? :D
@@guerney2000 You’ll always have Zoidberg!
I went to highschool with a guy who lost his hand to a meiter saw. He was messing around, pretending like he was going to chop his hand. The teeth on the blade caught his skin and cut his hand off. He's 19 and according to the information I got they put him in a medically induced coma and reattatched the hand. This only happened about 2 weeks ago so were still waiting to hear more information
My skilled trades teacher has the pickled thumb of a janitor who forgot to unplug a saw before cleaning it he uses it as a safety warning
Given most of the writers of this show were actual "Doctors" (different Ph.D holders at least)
Yes, I learned that recently. Pretty cool!
while we're on the subject of tar burns:
when someone gets hot tar stuck on them, don't let it cool down! the skin will tear off when the tar is removed, keep the area warm until medical aid arrives, they can scrape off the tar with much less tissue damage when it's still warm.
Totally get whatever is causing the burn off your skin as quick as possible. That’s for any type of burn ( heat, chemical etc )
I'd love to watch you react to some of the scenes from Resident Evil 8 some of those scenes are brutal 😂

Hey, you should react to medical scenes from Parks and Recreation. They’re always hilarious.
Here are some episodes with hospital scenes:
1) kaBOOM! (Season 2 Episode 6)
2) The Set Up (Season 2 Episode 13)
3) Flu Season (Season 3 Episode 2)
4) Campaign Ad (Season 4 Episode 12)
5) Animal Control (Season 5 Episode 18)
These episodes have such funny scenes and I’m sure you’d like them!👍
Too funny you mentioned Parks and Recreation! Was actually planning on possibly reviewing it soon. Great show!
Imagine walking into the E.R and Jordan is your doctor and he starts laughing at you as you describe how you injured yourself. 10\10 would recommend him as anyone’s personal doctor
Really fun video.

@@DoctorER My favourite moment was really at the start because of the facts you gived.
And I Biology.
And a bit of chemistry so thanks alot.
I am a student.👍🏻
10:17 In that episode, Fry had eaten an egg salad sandwich from a truck stop vending machine, which led to intestinal worms that propagated throughout the body and did things like increase physical abilities and instantly heal him, as seen in the next scenes.
Also, 12:01, "This used to be a big dump." (colon joke).
Medical Procedures change almost every day how can we say all these are wrong 🤣🤣🤣👍
I don’t have high hopes for any of these medical producers to really go into practice anytime too soon. 😂

First off, another fantastic video. Zoidberg is is hilarious yet hilariously incompetent. He makes Dr. Nick from the Simpson's look competent.
Given the reactions of the cartoon doctors, you should do a comparison video with all of them ranking them best to worst.
As far out as you can go I would not mind seeing a reaction to the Dr's of each Star Trek series up to Enterprise.
Thank you! I appreciate it. Also, YES! I actually have plans to rank all of the cartoon doctors soon. I have a couple more cartoons to review first. Ranking all of them will be a good time for sure though! 😂👍
9:52 this one, Fry actually has these parasite type things in his body that repair him every time he gets an injury. and i think it was from this sandwich he ate out of a vending machine at a truck stop.
I love doctors who can actually laugh at movies and tv shows making fun of medical practices instead of sitting there going on about the faults.
