Just bought one today, sure glad I found your video. Very well explained 👍👍
You did a great job of covering all aspects of this mower! Thanks!
Agreed mate
Thank you!
Awesome presentation! I have been in sales a very long time and that is as good of a product presentation as I have seen. I just purchased this model with a bagger and am so glad i did. The upgrades from 2022 are so fantastic, and the machine is a dream! Thanks for the knowledge!!
Thank you and I hope I was able to help you out!
Fantastic review. Thanks for posting
Just bought one ! Luv it ! 👍
Great video! Everything explained clearly. I'm in the market for a new mower and have wanted a zero turn for a while. I've been using a self propelled push mower for 10 years and I want to cut down on my time to cut.
This 2023 model is definitely a huge improvement from previous years. Current pricing is $3800 at my local JD dealer but they are offering 0% 12 month financing.
Great detailed video - Thank you
Thank you! I hope it was helpful to you!
Great video.
I just bought one for my son and can't wait until it arrives for him to use.
we just paid 3800 for a new one in princeton il. early june of 2023. just mowed this am. this thing is sweet. peace. great video. we have one acre. i have mowed lawns but never a zero. piece of cake. be gentile. happy mowing. i am looking forward to mowing every week. serinity now!!!!
Awesome! I am glad you are happy with your mower. Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
One of the best overview videos I’ve seen! I’m glad I procrastinated in ‘22 and didn’t buy one. I’m getting a new Z320R delivered in a couple days.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy your new mower!
Just bought a Z320R today, but have to wait until next week for it to be delivered (had to buy from Home Depot as my local JD dealer didn’t have one at any of its 5 locations here in western Pa)
How are you liking yours so far?
How did the Z3320R perform for you? Regrets? Love it?
Great review! Mine arrives in a couple of days.
Thank you and that is awesome! I hope you enjoy it. Have you gotten to use it yet?
Always a great video
Very helpful review video. Have any videos on deck removal? Thanks!
Great videos! Great to see new warranty. Do you know if any mechanical upgrades were done to spindles, cables, etc.
Thank you and not that I know of. I'm pretty sure those components stayed the same.
Super nice! Might snag one of these!
They are awesome!
John Deere has stepped up on there 300, 500 and 700 series! Glad they stepped up to hydro gear also on most models!
Yes they definitely have made some serious improvements!
amazing video thank you!
Just bought one. My grandpa would be disappointed in me didn’t get a JD, so I’m happy.
You did the right thing. Honored your grandpa and bought an amazing mower.
Very nice video presentation. Couple of things I would like to have seen;
Is there a fuel cut off valve for long term storage?
Recommend octane?
How to replace a belt(s)?
How to remove blades to sharpen?
Thanks again for the presentation.
SR
Thank you! I will try to hit on these things soon when I have another one of these mowers in stock.
Excellent review.
I wish you were my dealer here in the SE.
Two JD dealers are already talking $3600-$3800 for this machine. They are actually $200 higher than Lowes.
When I asked why the price difference, I was told that's our list price as a dealer. I told him that if he can match the price I'll buy the machine on the spot.
I showed him the picture of the same machine with the price tag on it, but no price match was offered to me.
We are buying cash, no finance, but Lowe's is out of stock on back order for another 30 days.
I'll wait, since we don't have to have it right now. It's just a handy addition because of the compact size.
Ah man, I hate to hear this. Hopefully they will get one sooner for you.
I didn't think that Lowes carried the "R" models, only "E" and "M"? (Z320R, Z320E, Z320M)
Yep! Home Depot was 3699.00 and my local dealer didn’t budge. Their loss as I also was Cash
@@chrissimmons8871 Home Depot will fix it for you. Oh wait.
My first zero turn mower, I got the last one at Lowe's for $3499 plus a 10% veterans discount! Good story, I almost returned it. The guys at Lowe's told me about the transmission valve, they didn't tell me there was one on each side, and one was pulled out unknown to me. I had a hell of a time getting the thing off the trailer, Lowe's pushed it on because they won't put gas in them. So I'm thinking man this is going to take some getting used to. Finally got it off the trailer and now it only wants to go in circles, and I realized that one of the levers wasn't doing anything, I thought the tranny was bad, boy was I mad! So I called JD, and when they wanted the serial number I looked down and saw that other transmission rod! Lesson learned, glad it was something stupid. So far love the mower, it's fast and much smoother riding than the JD D125 it replaced.
Oh no! Well I am glad it was an easy fix. These are great mowers so I am happy you didn't end up returning it. Thanks for watching!
Very good job learned alot !!!!!!
Im 6'8 it fits great except the handles which were too short. I had to improvise and add 2 6inch relief braces on each side to raise the handles .
Brent, excellent review, Glad to hear you describe the numerous upgrades and features. I now have one ordered and thanks to your detailed description, I'm ready to make any initial adjustments and start using the great machine.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy your new mower. Did you get the Z320R or another one of the Z3's?
@@WesternEquipment I got the Z320M and I'm already ordering a few of the optional equipment pieces from the R model. I'm new to Zero Turn machines, so I'll have a bit of adjustment, but your video moving it around makes it look straight forward. I'm coming from an S130, the tractor is still running perfectly, but the deck gave up. South Florida humidity is tough on steel decks. This style mower gives better access to the deck and I love the grease fittings on the spindles. Also this Z320M is narrower than the S130, so it'll be much easier to park!
What would you recommend as the preferred mowing height? I’ve heard 2-4 inches. I’d really appreciate your insight. Thank you Brent
Who else feels bad for anyone who purchased a 2022? I am so torn between this and the S240/X350
I have thought this many times myself.
I am thinking of trading in. If I had known they were being redesigned I would have possibly waited instead of going with my z345r. The z345 is…fine. But this looks like it corrects all of the nags I have with mine. Including more robust frame and better caster placement for ride quality.
I just bought this today. Let me say….rough ride compared to my old Toro and The deck is noisy!
@@chrissimmons8871 how big of a yard do you have?
I did not even consider a John Deere Z300 series when I was first looking in late 2022. But when I saw the improvements they made for 2023, it changed my mind from buying a Toro Timecutter to a Z330R. Nothing wrong with the Toro (I have lots of Toro) but the JD met all the requirements I had better than the Timecutter. I wanted a stamped 10ga deck (48") for better airflow amongst other things) Also, Toro made almost no changes/improvements for 2023.
Great day man!, just when I figured out what I wanted, smh. At least I hadn't put any money down yet.
Haha! Glad I could help change your mind!
John Deere really changed so much to the “lower” end models. I think the 2023 models look much cleaner. I should have waited haha
You got screwed.
@@iwanaGoFast2010 LOL!
@@iwanaGoFast2010 honestly not really I got a 2022 and my neighbor has a 2021 z355e and them things are tanks the stuff my neighbor has run over with that thing and did with that thing not to mention the stuff I have run over with his z355e that's why I wanted one not because I am rough on lawnmowers but because I seen how well it has held up he has hit concrete blocks multiple times bricks run over a concrete slab multiple times railroad ties a vehicle tire stumps big ass limbs and they weren't dead either and septic pipe and a drain culvert so from what i have seen him put that one through so far is a great lawnmower

Nice looking machine. Maybe something to save for next year to replace my 20 y.o. X300
Really like the mower can't say the same for the expensive bagger system. Even with the special blades installed continues to leak out leaves and clippings.any ideas? Previously had a cub cadet far superior.
Any help would be appreciated 😢😢
Thannk you for an excellent presentation...HUge help for me with my new Z320R!
You are welcome! I am glad i could help. Are you enjoying your new mower?
Thank you Brent and Western Equipment for the informative content! Tip of the hat to ya all! I ordered a 2022 Z345R with a bagger in April of 22, but didn't take delivery of till late August of 22. It never got used, 0.2 hours on the meter, garage kept. I'm now trying to upgrade to a 23 Z320R, but my salesman didn't even know the Z3 line was upgraded! LOL! Lord help me!!!
You got screwed.
@iwanaGoFast2010 tell me about it buddy! I'd like to see what Brent thinks!
Oh man! I hope it works out for you!
@@WesternEquipment It's not! LOL. My new Z345R with 0.2 hours and is garage kept, was offered 3817.29 in trade, I paid 4400.00 out the door. Offered me the new Z320R for 5099.00, for a difference of 1281.71 to upgrade. I feel that they should give me back the 4400.00 and then I will pay the rest for the upgrade. I don't feel I should have to take a loss on a brand new mower! I don't blame my salesman, but the administration of 4Rivers should back me up, especially since I have bought a D130 lawn tractor and several Stihl items and implements for my tractor. I called another dealer in Kansas and they gave me the same deal because they said I didn't buy it from them? Guess I'm outta luck since no one will help me. Thank you for your response!
Nice video and mower 😁
💯👍
Thank you and I agree!
I have a JD 950, E-130, Z345R and a 3025d, Question, so without the fuel idiot light, you have to stop, raise the seat and look at the fuel tank to determine the amount of fuel that is remaining??? Yeah, great job. Obviously designed by an engineer that was working from home. Great job!! Also 0.5 less horsepower than on my E-130 and Z345r. How is that better? Other than that, Looks like a great machine.
I totally understand. There are always things we wish would have been done better but overall these Z3's took on an amazing upgrade in my opinion.
great video ! been shopping for a few weeks and this video quality might have sold it for me. let john deer know that, maybe theyll send you free mowers.
Haha! I wish that was the case! Glad I could help you out. So is this the exact one you are going to get?
@@WesternEquipment i am looking at the John Deere Z330R 48 in; it's a hard bullet to bite though.
good vid! hey does the 300 series have a servicable rear transaxle?
No, they are sealed transaxles. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment ok maybe i need to step up to the 500 series
Im ready to order the Z330R now. Delivery asap, help!
I know when you’re turning the key the lights come on. How do you turn the lights on when the mower is on?
Also, does the battery hour gauge stay one 24/7?
So once you have the mower on you just turn the key back to the lights position and they will come on. And yes, the hour meter is always on.
How do you keep the lights on when the mower is running? Also, is there still a low fuel indicator light?
Once you have the mower started you just simply turn your key back one position to where it is pointing at the lights emblem and that will leave your mower and the lights on.
Some questions: are you the Western Equipment with stores throughout western and sw Oklahoma? Have you had any experience with the Ferris ZTR’s? Curious how this one compares to their similar size model. I am located in Lawton, OK and may be in the market for a mower soon, like that there are a lot more dealers for John Deere than Ferris. And last, is this 320R easily available or is there a shortage? Thanks!
Yes, we are the Western Equipment you are thinking of. I do not have a ton of experience with Ferris so I am not sure what the comparable model would be. As of right now, we are not having issues getting the Z320R that I am aware of. It has been a pretty popular model though.
How well do these mowers do with mowing inclines and ditches, with and without bagging grass?
I have not done any mowing yet with the new series of Z3's yet, but I can say that I haven't heard of any complaints. Hopefully I will have a little more insight throughout the summer so stay tuned!
If you have the mulch kit installed can you run the standard blades as kit comes with different mulch blades. I only need them in fall for leaves and rest of year to mow grass. I see manuel said not too run them with kit installed??
Yes, you can run the standard blades. The blades in the kit are mulching blades so they are suggested to be ran with the kit to get the best possible outcome.
@@WesternEquipment I would think that running standard blades with mulch kit installed would be ok IF you have the mulch kit set to side discharge AND the grass is not wet or lush, as in the early Springtime. Otherwise it might tend to pack up under the deck as the airflow to the discharge port is not as free flowing with the mulch kit, and the standard (high-lift) blades will vacuum the cut grass up more where it will hit the baffles and reduce the ability to discharge as well. If the grass is very dry it should be no problem. Let us know how it works out for you!
Do you know if any of the 2023 residential zero turns will have the quick change oil system?
No, they all have the replaceable filter and drain.
@@WesternEquipment To me that's a good thing...I like to change all the oil in the engine.
Just bought mine! Great explanation of all features. Mine was more than $3300 but maybe PA more expensive.
Thank you and I hope you are enjoying your mower!
@@WesternEquipment I’ll keep you posted. I bought a cart so I’ll probably use it for that first. Should come in handy since I’m getting old, lol. Mowing will come a little later.👍
It could be Maui which is in middle of the ocean and prices on everything reflect that ! And like the lady in Arkansas ,we grow rocks ,ours are blue and damage a lot of equipment !
I’m stuck between the z320r and the z325e. I want the Kawasaki motor but I’ll be honest I’m intrigued by the 48” deck and 24hp on the 325e. Can you offer any compelling advice on the two?
I have not been able to do any side by side comparisons on mowing with the two mowers yet but I am hoping to get to do so this spring/summer so I can offer more solid opinions.
@@WesternEquipment I went with the z330r. It was small difference in price, so to me it was worth it to have the bigger deck and more horsepower.
Can I order one now?
Whats your take on the b&s vs kawi motor?
Kawi is a stronger engine overall.
I got a 2023, second day I put a big ole hole in the seat. The seat flipped forward while on the trailer and hit a piece of equipment I had on the floor panel, went right through it. It looks like the stitched leather comes off? Is there a replacement anywhere?
What model is it? The Z320R?
FYI : My Z320r was 3699.00 today from Home Depot. Local JD was no different. However, the ride is no where as comfortable as my old Toro time cutter.
Did your Timecutter have the MyRide suspension? That would make a huge difference. If not, did you check the tire pressure on your Z320? Should be 15psi front / 10 psi rear, according to owner's manual. Mine came from the dealer with 25psi front (fail!) This will make a big difference too.
Thank you for the information and hopefully the ride situation is just a tire pressure issue.
I wish I had searched a bit. I just bought a Z320m at our local John Deere and noticed it was a 2022 - paid 3500 + tax and fees. Damn. It’s being delivered to my house tomorrow. I wish I’d have known of the changes.
Well don't get me wrong the Z320M is still a good mower. It should only be missing a few of the features that the Z320R has.
@@WesternEquipment I talked to my salesman this morning and he is taking care of me. I'm paying a couple hundred more for the Z320R but I am okay with that. Thank you for the Video.
@@331LX Hell yes!!! Good decision!
@@mellowjammer Thank you! I couldn't believe the price difference. I have to thank @Western Equipment for the video. Otherwise I would have a 2022 320M for not much less than the R. I am loving the mower so far. Thanks again for the information everyone.
Just got one of these brand new starts right up but won't move forward or backward
I bet your transaxle release levers are pulled out. Check out the 18:00 minute mark in this video. If those rods are pulled out like I show, then this will keep your mower from moving.
I bought a Z320M and it doesn't have a cover for the toolbox. Do you know the part number for that so I can order one? I've looked all over but can't seem to find it. Thank you for your help and awesome videos. I've learned a ton watching them.
The number for that cover is UC32256 and thank you for watching!
How do you like your z320m?
I’ll tell you about those narrow deck mowers. You can’t circle anything without the tire hitting it. 48” is about the smallest I’ve seen useful. Any curved feature in either direction get ready to trim more.
This is a great point.
@@WesternEquipment just results in more movements of the steer sticks and increased directional changes/additional service considerations. 🙂
This help with my decision. I was wondering if the Z3 line would have a transport Mode for the deck. Since it doesn't i'll stick with the Z530m model for my next John Deere Thanks for the video.
I’m glad I could help you out!
Home Depot currently running offer $700 off, finally upgraded
Does the hour meters stay on after turning off and removing key?
On some models they do, so if yours is then it should be normal.
I just received my z320r from Home Depot, delivered on a pallet (already assembled). I put gas in it & followed all the manual’s instructions for starting the engine, yet it won’t turn over. The instructions were the same as how you started this mower. Is there anything I could be overlooking?
I’d try putting a charger on battery then trying it again. If it’s just clicking after a charged battery then make sure brakes are in correct position before starting.
I have the new Z320 M , do you sell the seat handles and rubber mat?
Yes, go check out 247Parts.com!
I was originally looking at a Bad Boy mower, but after this review, i think im gonna have to go with the 330r and save myself 3k in the process
Nice! So which bad boy were you looking at originally?
@@WesternEquipment I believe it was the ZT Elite.
Is it normal for the mower wheel to touch the front wheel? I just got this mower from Home Depot, and when I adjust the mower wheel height to 3-4 inches, it contacts with the front wheel at a straight driving direction. Please advice
I have heard this a couple of different times now and I have not gotten an answer on this yet. I would definitely say that this is not normal. I would assume this has been made known to John Deere and they are working on a fix. As soon as I get an answer I will post a video over it.
Do you happen to know total width with bagger accessory attached?
I do not have an exact measurement but it should be around 56-58 inches.
@@WesternEquipment I actually ended up buy this mower and bagger attachment. I can get the measurements. I’d like to see a video on how to remove the deck and maybe one on how to install the material collection system. I’ve watched all your other videos for the z320r and they’re very insightful. The installation manual that comes with the system leaves a lot to be desired
Just purchased a z320 M from Lowes with a veteran discount. I can't find a single source (even JDcom) that can summarize the difference between the R and M nomenclature. Also: what's the difference between the mulch kit and mulch control kit? With the mulch deck cover, do I need to install mulching blades?
E is your base model with the least amount of features. M is the mid spec model with some extra features. R is the top trim level with the most factory installed features. The mulch kit is a kit that is put on that is hard mounted making your deck be in mulch mode all the time. Mulch Control allows you to easily switch back and forth from mulching to side discharge. Lastly, yes, I would install mulching blades to get the best cutting results.
A dealer told me today that the main difference between the R and M is the R has lights on the front, arm rests, and a cover on the storage area by the right arm rest. Everything else is the same according to the sales dude.
Why do they still use a plastic bushing at the top of the front spindle? (see update below) Toro and other quality manufacturers use 2 ball bearings per spindle. Is there an advantage to using the plastic bushing or is it just cheaper? It just seems like they only went halfway in solving the front spindle durability issue.
Update 3/17/23: Just got my Z330R yesterday and replaced the plastic bushings at the top of the caster spindle with ball bearing p/n AM102888, same part thats at the bottom of the caster spindle. You should add a 3/8" flat washer between the top of the caster spindle and the top retainer (black metal cap) to maintain proper spacing. I used a stainless 3/8" washer which is about 0.050" thick and 0.875" diameter. Worked perfectly! Now I've got a much more robust front caster setup like the design of the Z500 series and up!
I will have to see if I can get ahold of somebody that has a better answer to this question. Thanks for the comment!
Is it possible to install another AM102888 Ball Bearing at the top in place of the UC31652 Plastic Bushing?
The Z530R uses 2 of these same bearings per caster spindle instead of 1 bearing & 1 ($1.80) plastic bushing, so I guess they are just being cheap 🤔
@@WesternEquipment Any answer to the front spindle question?
Wouldn’t Ming knowing this also
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
question:why was there so much white smoke when you started it with the choke on? is that normal?
This was a brand new mower and it was chilly out since it this video was shot back in November of '22 so that is normal for those conditions. It will not be a normal thing once the mower has some use on it. Are you looking into one of these?
@@WesternEquipment okay i see thank you!
im just looking around at different mowers i might buy in the future
How does this thing handle hills? Our 1 acre is mostly flat, but does have an area with a 15 degree slope. As a bigger guy myself, plenty of power to get up and down without too much strain?
I don't think you should have a problem with that grade. especially if you are going straight up and then back down.
Glad to see that they addressed the front tires, but my complaint was with the ones on the rear. All models should be able to be upgradable to tweels. I didn’t finish the video yet, but my other complaint was that entry level ztrs lack a proper fuel gauge. My z335e only had a low fuel warning light, but then again it was only $2300.00 before my discount was applied in 2019.
I agree on the fuel gauge and I think it’s only a matter of time before we see Tweels available on all machines.
nice video!!! lol But they got all their ideas from cub cadets zt series came out years before this one. Still nice mower
I like the green deck I wish they had this option before I purchased my 580 this year 😕
Well now if you ever have to upgrade or trade, you know this is the new standard.
did anyone else notice the giant dent in the deck when he was showing the oil change tube?
Just got a Z315E. Why doesn't my model come with a top for the storage compartment on the right?
That is just one of the small details that gets left out on the E trim level machine. One can be added though. Would you like the part number for it?
@@WesternEquipment Please, I would like to order one
Is UC32256 the part number for the tool box cover?
What blades comes with this mowers
They are just your standard blades.
Is this comparable to the Z320M ZTrak?
Yes very. This model just has a few more features.
Does this model have a plastic transmission?
No! None of the John Deere mowers use any type of plastic transmissions anymore.
Great info as always! I am ready to buy the Z330R w/48" deck, but there is no mulch control kit shown for it yet, although the JD website seems to indicate that it IS an option for the 48A deck. The 54" deck still uses the BUC10706 kit, which was used last year on the Z375R, but the BUC10705 which was used on the 48A deck on Z355E, Z355R & Z365R is not listed as the mulch control kit for this year's Z330R with the same 48A deck. Has the 48A deck changed (other than paint color ) since last year? Do you know the correct p/n for the mulch control kit for this Z330R mower? Thanks!
I just purchased the Z330R today, 12/12/2022. My dealership pre-installed the Mulch Kit. I was a $450.00 option.
@@davidmnorman4948Ok, I see now that the John Deere website has updated to show the same mulch control kit as last year for the 48A deck...the one I referred to above (BUC10705). Thanks for letting me know.
Yes the kit you listed is correct!
Any mulch kit for the Z320R?
@@Vpoveda1 For the Z320R with 42" deck, it's p/n BUC10704
A little help please. At a John Deer dealer the Z320R is $4,690.88 out the door. At Home Depot it's $3,96718 out the door. Why should I buy it at a dealer? Thank you
With that kind of difference it would be hard to make and argument for the dealership. I wonder why there is such a difference. That is unusual.
Brooksville Fl I paid $3,799 for the Z320R. That quite a difference. Would have gone to Lowes for the 10% veteran discount but they’re back ordered.
Can this mower be use as a commercial?
Technically, you could use any mower you wanted for commercial use. Just make sure if your going with a smaller model like this that you are really taking care of it.
So to tell the difference between a Z320R 2022 and a 2023 it will be a green or yellow deck.
All Z320R's should have green decks because it is a new model as of 2023.
Can you get a bagger for this machine?
Yes you can. Go check out our other channel 2417Parts to see it.
Picked up mine yesterday for $2,899..due to some customer service issues
Wow! That is a heck of a deal. I hope all went well after that.

I am disappointed too honestly. I am glad they at least put the fuel tank in a spot that can be easily viewed though.
I agree. Very disappointed in no fuel indicator
At one time JD was all the rage with high quality this and that but now it's no better than anything else. Residential lawn tractors and zT, you may as well buy MTD, at least the parts are available and cheaper. No longer a JD fan for sure !!

@@ciphercode2298 i understand i just know some zero turn mowers have smaller gas tanks
@@mellowjammer ok i just heard that sorry i got existed about this new mower
Just got mine delivered, but when I lower the blade deck, my deck wheels and front caster wheels touch. Anyone else have this, and what did you do?
I have heard this from another person. I need to look into this. Stay tuned!
So I guess the seat will last six months
The seats are greatly improved and I think you will be surprised by their longevity.
And if you didn't think "shrink flation" applied to anything but food, look close at similar lawn equipment from last year or a couple of years ago, downgraded transaxles, downgraded deck guages, etc. etc. ! How sad. Just be real and increase the price, sales will drop of at least people won't be duped !
It's interesting that you say this when every aspect of this mower went up in quality drastically from the previous year model...
@@WesternEquipment May be true but still has a stamped deck. That's not an upgrade. Since it's meant to cut grass one would think the focus would be to make that part top notch.
@@scottprimrose6966 many think that a stamped deck is better. No corners inside to trap debris.
Most other manufacturers trash stamped decks because usually they are made from thin 12-13ga steel. John Deere is one of the few manufacturers big enough to be able to afford the huge hydraulic presses required to make thicker stamped decks (10ga on 48A & 54A decks, and up to 7ga on their 7 iron decks.) A stamped deck with its curves is always going to have better airflow than a boxy fab deck and there are less welds to go bad or rust. Not saying that fab decks are bad but just explaining why they are trashed by those who CAN'T make a good one. Any thin deck, stamped or fab is going to rust out quicker, get dented, bent, etc. Admittedly, if you have a deck that holds wet grass on the top it's more likely to rust out quicker too.
@@mellowjammer True enough. The most important thing on a mower is the deck, which takes the most punishment of all.
42" Accel Deep cutting deck is pure crap. Too thin metal and bearings fail too early. Also aluminium base for bearings are bad... new bearings are already loose... usa built crap. And new deck is almost 2000 € here.
It's amazing how these sales people just lie through there Teeth..
What lies are you hearing?
Here's the bottom line of John Deere for me. Purchased one May 18th. Shipped the next day receiving on the 20th. In between the 18th and the 20th back ordered, wow really, you would think you would tell me it was out of stock before I spent the four grand plus. Check the reviews bottom line. You screwed yourself , along with the reviews were bad. What I highly recommend is don't buy a John Deere.
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Was this with a dealer or with one of the big box stores?
It's crap !! JD has certainly gone down hill. Plastic transmission !!
This is wrong. There are no plastic transmissions.
@@WesternEquipment On the residential ones there were/are plastic bodied trans.
The troll swings and misses. Unhappy AND wrong. Poor troll.

Just bought this and it’s all your fault
Piece of junk only good thing is the motor.
Interesting…what makes you say that?
I like the green mower decks so much better
The green deck looks like diarrhea.
@@iwanaGoFast2010 ok
They are really growing on me too!
I only seen this model for sale for 3700 plus
Yeah, that's what I'm seeing is $3799. I'll have to stick with a tractor.
@@ciphercode2298 pretty steep for a 42 inch mower. Last year you could get a 54 inch 500 series for that price. They can keep it.
@@iwanaGoFast2010 amen,I know things are goin up,but that's out of my reach. Nice mower though
We can blame Biden and democrats for that price rise. Bloody crooks. Bring back trump he loves us farmers and USA manufacturers
@@vjsingh725 ikr,we raise laying hens and get a few dozen eggs a week. My wife went shopping the other day an 18 count carton of eggs was $9,a gallon of milk was over $5,and orange juice was almost $6. We're only on about 1/2 an acre, but we're investing in some meat birds, rabbit and maybe quail. We've always kept a small kitchen garden, but I think I'll expand it this year
This guy does a great job reviewing these machines.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
