Don't you think there is a problem with the very idea called experiential learning? Is there any time when we are not in experience or is there anything called non-experiential learning?
Knowing/ understanding can only happen within the experience. Human beings are biologically equipped to learn or make sense of the real world or CREATE knowledge of the real world but modern education makes modern educated people into analyzers of second and information and assumes that they have learned. Naturally, this activity of reading, making up distorted images in the head, using reason to organize this information kills our natural ability to learn. To experience the world around! learning like breathing can not be taught. It is natural for all biological/living beings to learn. But you can distort it, numb it, damage it. So if we are able to understand the cognitive damages inflicted upon us due to schooling, early literacy and now the early digital immersion we can start the process of undoing the damages.
