I just LOVE your videos! I cannot believe there are people who are complaining, in my humble opinion, you could post every day and I would watch! I am a fairly new potter and I am so happy to see that you are not shy about showing everything that comes out of your kiln. It really helps me when my stuff fails! (and believe me, I get some really good failures!) PLEASE keep the videos coming!
Why would someone complain. That just makes no sense. They can choose to watch …or not. Simple! I love that you show all…the good and the bad. I for one enjoy them and learn from both the successes and the failures and the fixes.

Too many kiln unloads? How am I expected to enjoy my morning coffee without one? So excited for the live... woo hoooo! I had to edit... I was busy trying to work out the time difference and saw I could turn my notifications on. 😄
Hey Gwen!! Oh I had to change the time to fit in an extra kiln. RUclips should tell u the time in yr time zone already tho. 8am 14/12 here so if yrs is different then it is yr time zone already. Hope u can make it!!!

I love love love the teapot and teacup set. I play tea party with my 3 year old granddaughter and the size of the cups are perfect. Also, love your peacock bowls. I have tried this technique several times with no success so great job.

I’ve always done the outside first so I can hold the mug from the inside over my hand while I glaze it. Doesn’t make a bit of difference if you ask me. Lol. Great kiln load!!❤

You're doing amazing to get through so many! I have to agree with so many, those subtle peacock bowls are stunning. So used to seeing peacock glazes so vibrant that was really refreshing to see in soft subtle shade. Ive also never heard of only glazing inside before glazing outside? Never done that and not had any issues. I wonder why they suggest that? Will do my utmost to make the live, once Ive worked out the time difference. Youre doing awesome Nat x

@ thanks Nat. I have recently started to pour my own midfire molds was just hoping to find some already done. Will just have to stick to pouring as i am not sure i want to learn the wheel at this stage. Have mainly done hand building up till recently. I have just switched my first kiln load of gold and decals on. Fingers crossed for me. Lol Anne 😊

I do one coat in and out at a time, I have never heard that from Amaco, but then I never took notice of their do 3 coats of this and then 3 coats of that😅 it will all be fine😊❤

Question about your slipcasting molds...are they vintage or is there somewhere by you that you are buying new ones? I like the shapes of the mugs you use, and the teapot set. 99% of mine are vintage execept 2 or 3 from etsy/turkey. Which means i just randomly make things i find 😅
Most of my slip stuff was premade. I was lucky to find them on Facebook so I don’t have the molds. I have some molds like the teapot set trace made and the ducks. The bisqueware I think was originally from Mayco themselves

Sorry Nat I’m a bit behind with watching videos - last week was so crazy busy and I’m trying to build a dry river garden at our house which is taking up a lot of my "spare" time lol umm who the heck is being mean to you!! We all appreciate all you pottery peeps. As for myself I'm teaching myself to do everything. The next being wheel throwing. And I have learnt so much from the pottery community. The next is to also gain the confidence to do proper video's of my unloads. Its so darn hard being in front of the camera. Feeling so self conscious , then viewing the video and hearing yourself speak. Oh my lord, it's frightening. Anyway happy potting and take care.

Just to confuse us all more the word decal is shortened from the French word decalcomanie with an acute over the first e which technically means we’re all wrong and it should be pronounced day cal . Which sounds totally wrong when you say it .Hahahaha. Love the bowls with the poppy fields , very elegant

Hey Laura Thankyou! I use a squeeze bottle for the light flux and the extra coat of glaze over everything at the end makes all the difference.
I just unloaded glaze kiln #4 this month. Have a three day show this weekend. Good luck on your show! We get snow tomorrow.
