      BB Perez: Absolutely!! If you dared to push him or say he was lacking in some category he would just destroy the exact aspect he was accused of lacking. In the 92 finals they were comparing Jordan & Drexler. They said he was a better 3pt shooter than MJ. Michael said you only say that cause I choose not to shoot as many 3's. He then proceeds to break the 3pt rec in the finals in the 1st HALF!!!!! He could do whatever he wanted to whoever he wanted to do it to on both sides of the court!

    God designed MJ to play basketball. Huge hands, but his feet didn't match his hands. His feet were small enough to be nimble and turn the corner. Huge vertical leap. Strong, but within an athletic body, and not overly muscled. At 6'6 he had all the strengths and none of the weaknesses. Not to mention his strong focus, intensity, and IQ. Perfect player. Greatest player that will ever be.

      We all know about his vertical leap, but the nimbleness, quick first step, and his ability to lower his body while driving to the basket were a huge part of his game. The closest to him driving to the basket wasn't Kobe, but D-Wade in my opinion.

This was an AGING Michael Jordan against a PRIME SHAQ & PENNY HARDAWAY! Howard Pryor I agree he had some Damn good control of that thing but most of his flashy ball control moves were with an underhand grip. He could cock it back for sure. But the way Jordan could fake a crow hop pass on a breakaway thats that next level shit that has always stuck out to me.

  • @RebeccaTheWitch

    The creativity on his fakes and finishes is what gets me. He sells his post fakes so well. His fake spin is extremely fast, but he also takes a HUGE step in with the fake which would make any player think that he's going to drive. As soon as you react he's a foot to your right, wide open, draining a jumper.
    I watched Jordan in his prime when I was 11-13. I knew he was the greatest. But being able to analyze and see it again as an adult, it really puts into perspective how utterly amazing Micheal Jordan was. I respect LeBron, but he's never going to be on Jordan's level. It'll be decades before we get a second jordan. He's not a generational player, he's a once every X generations player. Like catching a full planetary alignment, or celestial passing.

    • @flappyturtle472
      @flappyturtle472 6 лет назад +1

      You're saying this league is soft? Are you saying you preferred it when hand checking prevented extremely skilled players from playing well? Hand checking removed skill from the game. You're saying you preferred it when 75% of the league did cocaine? That caused amazing players like David Thompson to play like trash. You preferred it when ILLEGAL DEFENSE WAS CALLED 13 TIMES IN A GAME. MJ was a psycho who punched his teammate. Larry Bird was an antisocial asshole. The league today is better now. Who gives a shit about softness. BTW, the Illegal Defense rule gave MJ an unfair advantage. LeBron doesn't have that advantage.

    • @mobregonjr
      @mobregonjr 6 лет назад +12

      Flappy turtle Skilled players aren't slowed down by hand checking. Example: Micheal Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Larry Bird, Kareem...ect......
      Hamd check fouls did however create players who only appear to be great because defenses aren't allowed to touch them. It creates players who flop and take advantage of the no touch policy. Example: Lebron
      Who cares about softness? I do. I dislike this new generation who teaches people to be soft.

    • @flappyturtle472
      @flappyturtle472 6 лет назад

      +Martin Obregon Michael Jordan was strong and athletic. He would break the ankles of someone that would lean on him or put their hand on them. Kareem was bigger than everyone else and hand checking couldn't stop him from dunking over people or using his sky hook. Larry Bird was tough as bricks. Hakeem was also huge. These players you mentioned are legends, so they're mostly outliers. LeBron probably wouldn't get stopped by hand checking either.

    • @flappyturtle472
      @flappyturtle472 6 лет назад

    • @egyptpha223

      This is something a lot of people now days do not talk about. Yes, he was a GREAT PASSER. Many people back then use to give him CREDIT for it, but now days. People whom haven't lived, some haters of him because their team may have lost to him, or people never really saw the era he played. Are really down playing his ability to pass the ball. The bottomline is, he was a GREAT Passer, and near the same level as Bird and Magic, if not on it. He just didn't need to because the Game is about Scoring POINTS making Buckets. The game is about the SCORE, points make the SCORE. Thus the most important stat category in Basketball is POINTS. So Jordan did that, in one of the Shortest amount of time, which is important. Thus why +/- stat is the most important viewed stat in Basketball. None of those others matter, if you're not scoring points. Jordan in my opinion was not only great SCORER, but a GREAT PASSER. If he wasn't a greater passer, I have no doubt that he would have lost some of those FINALS, period.

    • @bjsw534
      @bjsw534 7 лет назад +1

      Egypt PHA I see what you're saying but assists also generate points if you think about it. So 10-12 APG could come out to around 20-26 points depending on if they're two pointers or three pointers

    • @egyptpha223
      @egyptpha223 7 лет назад +9

      Respect to your comment bjsw534
      I hate to be this deep with you, but only points exist.
      If you really think about it, only points in the game of basketball really exist which is the SCORE.
      That's the only basketball stat that actually really exist.
      All other stats only come into play if we're trying to get points.
      If we're not trying to do anything, none of the stats exist.
      They're only illusions stats taking of space.
      Even If I get hit with 5 second violation and players do not throw the ball in.
      You will be hit with a turnover! off the bases of not throwing the ball in to score points!
      No matter what, all the other stats are just creation of something off bases of Points or illusions.
      Only thing that exist is in the end is...
      Points

    • @boogieloo1831
      @boogieloo1831 7 лет назад +4

      Egypt PHA - to a large degree, ur correct - points determine wins and losses. Other stats are important and measure many important things a player does but scoring is the most important. The real problem is the media. Their desperation to pump LBJ and all the little guards as well has created this worshipping of assists at the expense of scoring - and ignoring all the turnovers that LBJ and others make today. What's crazy is that scoring is so much easier today without physical defense but still nobody can beat MJ.
      Bottom line - they try to diminish MJ but they can't because it's not just perception with him - his body of work is the greatest ever and unassailable and irrefutable - MJ is clearly and always will be the GOAT.

It was true creativity. You didn’t get that with the other guys , Lebron and Kobe. You got it with Magic Johnson though. But even he said Jordan was the greatest. Millineals just don’t know. Back then, there was nothing on TV more interesting than watching Michael Jordan playing basketball, and I was just a casual fan of the game, and I think many people experienced the same feelings that I did when watching basketball or T.V for that matter. We were never let down, and we had never seen anything like it being broadcasted so publically. LeBron career longevity is only because the league is alot softer and mysteriously LeBron always seem to get one or two of the top ten players in the league to prolong his career. Chris Bosh, Dwade, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis and counting. The guy actually player fantasy basketball in the court lol 😂.

    Michael Jordan remains the Master of basketball and who knows for how many years or decades will be this way, glad I was able to see him play in the 90's, was and still is a very important part in my life for inspiration, not only to appreciate basketball and be the best, but also thought me to never give up it doesn't matter how hard it looks, it doesn't matter how many times you fail what is important you never give up and keep pushing forward!

    Please everyone saved this video. Many of us have watched Michael Jeffery Jordan play. Please whatever you have to do, save this video. Please save this video for your records. This player was in my opinion a Super Hero! He made Basketball and the NBA Fun to watch. He made Basketball excited to see, and he deserves credit for what he done. So many are trying to undermine his accomplishments by desecrating his accomplishments. Back in the day, we would never heard some one going to the Finals 4 Times in a Row, or 5 times, or 6 times in row; then lose in majority of them being better or equivalent to someone undefeated in the Finals. What Michael Jordan did is history, and helped pave the way for exciting basketball that we see today. He deserves to be treated with respect. Not brought down, belittled like so many have tried to do in modern day.
    Please save this video for your records to see what this NBA Champion Superstar really did for the game of Basketball.
    Thank you!

      Jordan did way more in less time... yet the popular theory and agenda won't talk about that, because it defeats them... it took lbj longer to catch MJ, than it actually took MJ to set the records... and lbj still hasn't broken them all... that proves who is more skilled at the craft... especially since MJ played championship level competition at a higher rate,...the other guy does not,...
