    Here in the USA 🇺🇸 we have a dish called dirty beans and rice or red beans and rice popular in Louisiana it looks like what u made and it’s not unusual❤👍🏾

    I love how ingredients+creativity always brings out amazing dishes. As a guy living solo this is a lot of food to go through in a week...healthy too when I think about how lazy I am with the daily trip to the local butcher. My partner would be so happy if I ate like this healthy (and on a budget no less).

      Green Grams is not ndengu. Lentils ndio Dengu. Kamande is not Swahili, probably Kikuyu
