Then to come back outside and try to collect all the confetti back up. That’s the effect and how fast gossip can and does move through the world. Sorry for not being live with you guys btw, we had people looking at our house cause we’re selling it and I was chilling in the garage with my American Bully. I was just jamming out to one of my playlists and had the phone on airplane mode. To keep him calm, it was funny, I grabbed a cardboard box, laid it out and used a bag of clothes that we had waiting to be donated as a pillow and me and little man were just vibing out like some hobos or something lmao. I also liked your comment about building a long lasting sustainable career in music. If I ever got a shot at making music that’s the way I’d want to do it. That may have passed me by though at this point, but I’m working on a book project now so we’ll see what happens. The stuff I have up is all old songs from over the past decade. Most of them are stuff I lived through, some of them are narratives the way Tupac or other musicians would use narratives to tell a story. Like projections of people I was around’s experiences. I used excerpts from the songs as extra poetry in the book so I figured I needed to promote it somehow. Even if that opportunity passed me by though, I’ll make art the rest of my life because I love to do it and it’s been my therapy when I didn’t feel like I couldn’t talk to anyone about the stuff I was going through. There was always my photography, or my poetry or my music, a way to channel my pain and turn that pain into something that’s beautiful. I’d eventually like to paint and sculpt too but it’s just not in the cards at the moment but that’s a future goal for sure. I feel like God has a plan for us all though, and as a 32 year old virgin, with some of the stuff that I’ve been through, he may just be paying a little extra close attention to me. Or at least that’s what I choose to believe. My faith helps me get through everything including the PTSD stuff that I’ve been through. And after hearing that you’ve dealt with that too, I’m a more of fan now Kehlani.

They don't call it spirits for nothing... It can break a person and effect their lives and loved ones. Big part of why my marriage ended. He refused to get help because he didn't feel he had a problem. Even after getting a DUI. Even after I had to keep saving him from aspirating and choking on his own vomit. I asked for marriage counseling and he refused. I told him I was going to visit my Mom for a little while. He got me a moving truck and a dollie to put my car on. After my son and I moved in with my Mom, in an entirely different state he went even further downhill. Lost everything. His jobs, his apartment and got kicked out of his band. Some infidelity on his part. Ended up living on the streets. It took him hitting rock bottom to really realize he had some stuff to work on. I wish I could say he doesn't drink anymore... He still drinks, just not as much as he used to. He reached out to me about a year later and apologized for everything he ever put me through and the example he was setting for our son. He's in a good place now. Good job, home, back in the band, in a good and stable relationship. She loves my son and he loves her. So maybe it's possible she sees something in him nobody else does. Although she probably does put up with stuff she shouldn't have to. No relationship is perfect.
