I hope people know that Harley and the joker relationship is not goals and is a abusive relationship. The joker constantly abuses Harley.
They don't know that because in Suicide Squad their relationship was portrayed as a Lovie Dovie, we can't keep our hands off of one another relationship. Their movie relationship was nothing like the comics or animated versions.

They recon it in the movie. Suicide squad goes for a more Natural Born Killers couple where they are both criminals. Harley changes depending which canon you go for. In Gods and Monsters, Canon for example she is more pure evil and serial killer herself. It depends like how sometimes batman kills and sometimes he doesn't. You can't go buy animated series harley (where she absurd the boy robin tim drake mind you) anymore since they changed her so much.
It's like how Joker changes, sometimes he a crime boss, sometimes a sociopath with a mental illness. and sometimes just a goofy criminal. The older a character gets, the more they change them and the backstory. It's how it is
