SIGH! Oh, how I loved this! The respect and sweet fondness that each actor or technician/artist brings as they recall their Pollyanna experience is very touching. I loved learning about Walter Plunkett's costumes (the same gentleman who designed Gone with the Wind's iconic costumes!!) as I used to do costuming for local theater. I especially enjoyed Hayley and Moochie's recollections about the grandeur of the sets. And what fun to get the insider info on Moochie's famous hoop-rolling! Makes me appreciate this wonderful film even more. Aren't we blessed that Disney recreated this idyllic small town past so we could cherish it on film forever? Thanks so very much for sharing this treasure with us, Brian! XO
I loved that movie when I was a kid! I wanted my hair to look like hers!!!! I had a picture of Haley Mills as Pollyana and it was my treasure. Sadly I took it to school and the mean teacher took it away and never gave it back!!
The irony of some of these comments is that the filmmakers responsible for "Pollyanna" are expressly arguing against the kind of miserable people who wallow in this kind of fundamentalism.
Heaven forbid they would re-make this today.... they would foul it up with so many unpleasant things, situations and words. Hollywood and Disney have lost their way in making family-friendly content.
Perhaps, but even if they did I’d choose to look for the good. Because, and this is central to the film Pollyanna, if I look for the bad, expecting to find it, I surely will.
@@LeeAnnahsCreationsYou’re assuming they’d remake the film at all. And your negative perception of such a remake will dull your appreciation for the original.
@@keepingwaltindisney It never has and never will dull my appreciation for the original. 😀 I have the original on my shelf and I will treasure it always.
Sadly, today's culture would trash talk a film like this. Including Hollywood Elites. What a putrid world we are all forced to endure these days. Beautiful film and fun facts and takes on the behind the scenes tidbits.
I’m glad you enjoy this special program…and even happier that Disney doesn’t choose to remake the film. Even if they did, I would choose to look for the good in it!
Thank you, Pollyanna is one of my favourite Disney films.
Love that Film!
Well done..❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thanks for this! Really enjoying seeing this Vault Disney content.

It's as if these people have never watched the film.
