Man this is expansions done right. I love the idea of being able to add one or all expansions without the hassle of having to replace too many components from the base game. I want to be able to just throw it all in and hit the ground running. These look awesome.
Definitely going to start with overload and then binding ties and try them together from there. Cannot wait, especially with how quick IV turns around campaigns

Yeah, I'm going to insta-back this (which I almost never do). Player interaction is the main this I look for in games and this one seems to have it in spades. And IVgames is simply amazing. Veiled Fate is my new number one ever since I got it.

They did a fantastic job and loved playtesting the expansions and seeing what they have. super excited for my Mythic Mischief to arrive and for this campaign. First Encounter and Shard mini expansions have been super fun but looking forward to binding ties to increase negotiations more. Just a note the first encounter expansion was a Kickstarter exclusive and won't ever be available again except through giveaways or if you can get an original Kickstarter edition.
I think I’ve seen a spoiler for the new Kickstarter and the digital content to be released. Won’t say anything publicly but pretty sure I saw the big reveal. Only a couple weeks before backing this all in. Hopefully they offer veiled fate Kickstarter version as add ons. 😬
My biggest criticism with the game was that towards the end the leader has to go solo and I want negotiating to be a necessity of the game but I feel towards the end it’s no longer there. Still love the game and hoping these expansions bring it to excellence

I'm wondering if going all isn't a bit too much for a party that never played moonrakers once. Won't there be too much stuff?? But if we go only with the base game and maybe one extension won't we'll be frustrated at some point missing some other things? What is your advice for newcomers in this game? Thanks

Nomad is the one I feel like I don't need, the other two I would really like to add into the base game. The game doesn't hit the table much, so I'll pick them up at retail/off their webstore down the line when I feel live played out the base game. That big box is sexy though 👀.
You're not talking about the campaign, Luminor which is the 4th expansion and the puzzle game that comes with every IV Studio game campaign. And you should. Maybe in another video? Also there's a competition on their discord where you choose a faction and have to win in boardgames against other players from different faction to earn points for your faction.

Ben, my understanding is that there are things in this new campaign that will help with 2 player, but I like it with more - granted I'm a family of 5 gamers so we look for stuff that can work with 5+.

Granted, unofficial, unlicensed transforming collectibles and, more recently, the Monster Club TCG are vying for my fun funds the most, though. 🤑

At this point IV Games = instant back for me ... will be playing as much Moonrakers as I can until the end of the campaign to intro it to more people.

Must include expansions. Variety is never a bad thing, and fixing base game issues is a must for Moonrakers!

Didn't care for my play on TTS back in the day. One player got a bit ahead and then nobody wanted to work together and it felt like it dragged.
This game lives and dies by the group IMO. If no one wants to work together it falls apart.
oh man if this means it will be great with 2 players I might fail the crazy Devon challenge 😅
