You end up doing more while simultaneously being financially and mentally free; and it’s exactly like the Nietzsche claimed. It’s the pursuit of Power and continuously greater goals that brings happiness and joy to your life. Power not in a sense of sway and control over objects and people, as it’s been perceived as a sign of great hidden weakness, but power in a sense of inner force, that one gain by ascending through his own limits in endeavors that are noble and beneficial to health and one’s community. Other schools that preach this are Stoics and also Christianity. So maybe it’s coined in our human nature to crave and seek resistance in our lives. But why do we want to get better…?

@@EvanLong-u4d $4100 a month no wiggle room??? Lmao, that's plenty of wiggle room. Get out of NYC and LA. You'll have plenty of wiggle room with $4100 a month. Most rent is $1600 for 2-3 bedrooms here in Florida. so $2000 max with utilities. $200-$300 for food a month. You're still looking at more than a grand to "wiggle" with". 70 years old, it's called being on a FIXED INCOME. That's what retirement is for 99% of people... But every 70 year old I know... still works and brings in an income. by the time I'm 70, I don't think retirement will even be possible with the state of inflation. Oh well. That's life.

@@futuristiccavemanofficial perspective young one. I'm in Texas. You have to account for everything. Home ownership, medical, inflation, cars, travel you name it. 1million in 20 years will be worth 500k. Look at a chart just 8 years. Here's an example. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 2.44% per year between 2000 and 2022, producing a cumulative price increase of 69.95%. This means that prices in 2022 are 1.70 times as high as average prices since 2000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index.
