yeap, and plumb copies the spell so 6 cards and 6 life and 6 Extus triggers for 5 saced creatures (nontoken can come back to the hand as they were part of the cost. And Blood ftBG counts died creatures. Exiling doesn't cause creature to die)) Anyway - justice for Shea!) Cool show)
Regarding Extrus / Village Rites interaction - the sacrifice is part of the cost, so whatever is sacrificed goes into the graveyard at the same time the spell goes on the stack. This in turn allows the Extrus trigger to see the sacrificed creature in the graveyard. So yes, CGB would've been able to get the Esper Sentinel back. Edit: Minor correction, technically the sacrificed creature goes into the graveyard BEFORE the spell goes on the stack, which doesn't change the final answer at all.
Would have also worked later for the plumb the forbidden triggers for all the creatures sacrificed as magecraft works for copied spells.

You sacrifice Esper Sentinel as part of casting (step 7 of casting a spell). Cast triggers don't trigger until all 8 steps of casting the spell are completed. By the time the spell is fully cast and Extus trigger, Esper Sentinel is in the graveyard.
This is quite pedantic but the first step of casting a spell is to put the spell on the stack :)

Technically it reads "destroy each creature" but I don't think there is an effective difference there haha

Not-so-epic misplay: Blake's token of blood avatar didn't deal 3 damage to each opponent, Shea and Gina were playing with 3 extra life (so Shea would have died during Gina's cat attack bringing her to -2, not 1)

Extus works with any spells which either sac or discard as part of the cost (windfall, rite of oblivion and village rites all see the card in graveyard for extus)
"Windfall" wouldn't - the discard is part of the effect/resolution, not part of the cost. Maybe you meant "Unexpected Windfall"? But yes on the two other spells named.

Yes, Extus does see the creature on the yard because it is sacrificed when you pay costs, meaning by the time the spell resolves the critter is already dead. That precise interaction is exactly why Extus decks carry all these sacrifice spells. I guess this was a patron request so it was easier to miss this interaction but still a bit of an oof moment.

I'm sure someone's already told you this but on the off chance they haven't culling the weak's oracle text requires you do actually sacrifice a creature as part of its cast

You can see this in other instances, such as in the intro of this episode where Shea speaks of "target creature or player" while the on screen graphic version says "any target".

Since plumb the forbidden sacrifices as an additional cost, all your creatures should be in your graveyard before the plumb copies are on the stack, so you should have had like 5 Extus triggers

I just want to point out that the production of this show has gone way up in quality since its premiere. I skipped the first few eps because the angles and editing of the first one were kinda throwing me off. Now it's very very clean. Also one of the few commander shows out there thats now uploading in 4k so the top down view is actually useful because I can see the cards and its not just a blur. Great job!

That ETB shouldnt have went off on Mage's Attendant right? Because Braids says to put it on the battlefield not "cast" it right? You have to cast something to get the ETB trigger right? Its not a big deal. Im just asking for my own clarification because Ive been thinking about building a Braids deck. I still get confused with all of these minutiae rules that are like splitting hairs. lol I use Elvish Piper in many of my decks. I know alot of ETB triggers dont work with it as well.
No, ETB is “enter the battlefield”, be it cast or not, Cast triggers would not resolve from Braids’ activation (exemple it wouldn’t trigger rhystic study or any cascade effect)
@@nikoboivin OH right it's cast triggers that don't work with Braids not ETB. Duh. That makes sense because you're not actually casting it you're putting it on the battlefield but it still is entering the battlefield.
The attendant trigger would still proc since it's an ETB with no other restrictions
The only times where an ETB won't trigger would be if the card says "when it enters, if you cast this", it has other restrictions, or if something is directly stopping the ETB.
If it was a cast trigger (trigger when it's put on the stack, not battlefield) then it wouldn't trigger off the Braids.
TLDR: In this case, it would trigger, but sometimes it would matter

what type of sleeves are those green ones? I've yet to find a brand that has vivid colors (esp greens/blues) and aren't just throwaway type sleeves. I don't see the ultra-pro nasty holo on them so I'm hopeful.....

Commander Damage is specifically combat damage from a commander that is a creature.
This is also counted individually for each commander and each player.
If you animate a noncreature commander (i.e a planeswalker) that WILL do commander damage if it makes contact during combat, but noncombat damage will still not count (I may be totally wrong on this part)
TLDR: No, it does not count

Gina could have won i she cast arahbo equip met greaves +3+3 trigger on one of the cats then pay 1gw to double that creatures power and give it trample that way the buffed creature had to be blocked by all three and the other two could have killed shae
