Its gonna be interesting to see if doffys are gonna play more boa 6c red rock and maybe mihawk to adapt for buggy and buggy adapt to it with maybe grablabe or something like that
They would either play red roc or mihawks boa does nothing this matchup and if more people shift to buggy then they will just get bodies by lucci and purple kuffy
Not necessarily! Blackbeard can’t (consistently) negate your leader effect during Buggy’s turn, so you can still spam characters & go really wide! Plus, if Blackbeard uses his leader effect, you can play the 10c Buggy no worries 😂
@ ohh I didn’t think of the latter. That’s really cool that I can negative my own effect on the 10c. But I would still need to wait for the 10 don turn if the leader is disabled.
@ well the 10c Blackbeard only negates the Buggy leader on the Blackbeard’s turn, and then the only way I’d expect it to turn off on Buggy’s turn is if you get an unlucky trigger (so use leader effect before swinging!)
Im more curious how it does against any other deck. Think the deck is gonne struggle as most card do not give that much value. Its really good into dofi but i dont think its great into other matchups but only time can tell

question: on the doffy players first turn, why didnt he attack with his leader? like why not? im new to the game
So on either player’s first turn of the game, you cannot attack with your leader! You can only swing with leader starting your second turn

It depends on buggy’s popularity & matchup spread. Maybe doffy is really all that it beats

Where do all these promo cards come from?
it varies! The 7c Buggy specifically came in Shounen Jump, no word on how we'd get it in English yet
So deck is almost unplayable till we get 3 different promos. Seems lame honestly

For the matchup for sure, but most other games it’s chill because he had multiple jinbe’s he could have gotten off of search / restack

All 3 and 4 costs can't swing, buggy himself can't swing too
Buggy has an ongoing effect that says any 3c or 4c character cannot swing! It also has an on play effect to play another character
